This time around Suresh finds his footing…..

It is not always that children wish to take the occupations or professions of their parents. They would have their own plans, would want to do something on their own.. all they require is some support and the will to work hard to achieve their goal.  Sureshbhai Raval is a resident Diyodar.  Since he did not want to take up his father’s occupation of farming so he tried his luck with two-three other occupations.  However,  lack of proper education and other vocational skills proved to be a hinderance for him. He failed to find his footing. VSSM as been closely working with these families in Diyodar so we could sense the concern of Somabhai, Suresh’s father. VSSM offered to sent Suresh to  some vocational training institute to help him pick up some relevant occupational skills, but Suresh was not prepared to do so.  After lot of contemplation Suresh finally asked us to support him to buy a hand cart to start his own venture of selling fruits. There was a fear of his giving up this occupation too like he had done previously but since we knew and trusted his father we had to have similar faith in Suresh as well. We are glad to say that Suresh has been able to live put to the trust we have in him. He is earning well  enough to live by himself and regularly pay the EMIs of the loan.

We are grateful to our good samaritans respected Shri. Rameshbhai Kacholia and Shri Gorishbhai Shredalal without  whose support it wouldn’t have been possible to extend support to these numerous individuals earn their living and dignity. The support they provided has enabled us to help 115 families pull out from the cycle of poverty and migration.. 

બે વ્યવસાયમાં સુરેશ નિષ્ફળ ગયો હતો, નવા વ્યવસાયમાં પણ નિષ્ફળ થઈ શકે પણ એના પિતાને એનામાં ભરોષો હતો...

સુરેશભાઈ રાવળ દિયોદરમાં રહે. શિક્ષણ ખાસ નહિ. પિતા ખેતીકામ કરે. સુરેશને એમાં બહુ રસ ના પડે. બે ત્રણ વ્યવસાય કરી જોયા પણ સફળતા ના મળી.. પિતા સોમાભાઈ પણ સુરેશ ઝડપથી કામે વળગે એ માટે શક્ય તજવીજ કરે પણ સુરેશનું ક્યાંય મન જ ના બેસે. આપણે આ બધા પરિવારો સાથે સંકળાયેલા ખુબ નજીકથી આ પરિવારો સાથે કામ કરવાનું થાય એટલે એમની મૂંઝવણ પણ જાણવા મળે. સુરેશ માટે આપણે વૈકલ્પિક તાલીમની વાત કરી પણ એ કરવા સુરેશ તૈયાર નહિ... ખુબ વિચાર પછી સુરેશે જાતે જ ફ્રુટની લારી કરવાની વાત કરી. vssmની લોન લઈને એણે લારી કરી. અગાઉના બે વ્યવસાયમાં એ નિષ્ફળ ગયો હતો, આમાં પણ નિષ્ફળ થઈ શકે. પણ એના પિતાને એની ઉપર ભરોષો હતો.. અને એ ભરોષો સુરેશે જાળવ્યો.. સારું કમાઈ રહ્યો છે અને પોતે જ લોનના હપ્તા નિયમિતપણે ભરે છે... ધીમે ધીમે સૌ થાળે પડતા જાય છે... જેનો અમને સૌને આનંદ છે. આદરણીય શ્રી રમેશભાઈ ક્ચોલિયા અને શ્રી ગોરીશભાઈ શેરદલાલની મદદ વગર લોનનો આ કાર્યક્રમ કરવો શક્ય નહોતો.. આજે એમની આ મદદથી ૧૧૫ જેટલા પરિવારોને આપણે પગભર કરવામાં નિમિત બન્યા છીએ.. બંને સ્વજનોનો આભાર વ્યક્ત કરું છું.
