Umeshbhai, our loan beneficiary from Vatva in Ahmedabad, used to sell vegetables on a cart along with his father.

As time passed, his father passed away, and with that, Umeshbhai lost the support he always had.

To manage some unavoidable expenses, he took a loan — but the interest was so high that even a peaceful meal became difficult.

He shared his struggles with our volunteer Rahulbhai, and then took an interest-free loan from our organization. Today, he is running his vegetable cart successfully.

His dream is to own a big shop someday.

We pray to God that his dream comes true, and may we continue to be instruments in such good work…

પિતાની છત્રછાયા બાળકને હુંફની સાથે સાથે જીવનમાં કેવી કેવી પરિસ્થિતી આવશે તેના માટે તૈયાર પણ કરે...

અમદાવાદનાં વટવામાં રહેતા અમારા લોનધારક ઉમેશભાઈ તેઓ પિતા હતા ત્યાં સુધી એમની સાથે રહીને લારી વગેરેમાં શાકભાજી વગેરે વેચતા.

સમય જતાં પિતાનું અવસાન થયું અને તેમનો એક સાથ છૂટી ગયો. અમુક ખર્ચને પહોચી વળવા માટે લોન લીધી પણ વ્યાજ એટલુ કે શાંતિથી રોટલો પણ ના ખાવા દે.

એમણે અમારા કાર્યકર રાહુલભાઈને વાત કરી અને આમારી પાસેથી વગરવ્યાજની લોન લીધી અને અત્યારે સારી રીતે લારી ચલાવી રહ્યા છે.

Mittal Patel meets Nasib in Vadi settlement of Vadodara

Fortune is his name, yet fortune never favored him.

Born into the Madari community, Nasib could not study much. His father used to perform snake-charming acts, but when the practice was banned, the family was pushed into deep struggle. To support the household, Nasib worked as a daily-wage laborer — yet it was never enough to gather any meaningful savings.

He dreamed of changing his life by owning his own rickshaw.

He saved a certain amount through hard labor and requested the remaining amount as a loan from our volunteer Sunilbhai through the organization. We provided the loan, and he bought the rickshaw.

Today, Nasib proudly drives his rickshaw through the streets of Vadodara.

He says, “Now I drive my rickshaw with full confidence!”

The joy on his face is truly remarkable.

Nasib still lives in a small hut, enduring dirt and difficulties during the monsoon.

His dream is to buy an eco-friendly vehicle and build a permanent house.

Seeing his dedication and hard work, it is certain that his dreams will come true soon.

Through the combined efforts of KRSF and VSSM, over 12,000 families like Nasib’s have become self-reliant and started independent livelihoods.

નસીબ જેનું નામ પણ એનું નસીબ ચમકે નહીં.

મદારી સમુદાયમાં જન્મેલો નસીબ ઝાઝુ ભણી ન શક્યો. પિતા તો સાપનો ખેલ કરતા પણ એના પર પ્રતિબંધ આવ્યો. પરિવાર જીવવા માટે સંઘર્ષ કરવા લાગ્યો. નસીબ છૂટક મજૂરી કરી ઘર ચલાવવામાં ફાળો આપે. પણ એથી કંઈ ઝાઝું ભેગું ન થાય.

જીવન બદલવા પોતાની રીક્ષા ખરીદવાનું એણે સપનું સેવ્યું.

એણે મજૂરી કરીને ચોક્કસ રકમ ભેગી ને બાકીની એણે અમારા કાર્યકર સુનીલભાઈને સંસ્થામાંથી લોન પેટે આપવા કહ્યું. અમે લોન આપી ને એ રીક્ષા લાવ્યો.  

આજે નસીબ વડોદરાની ગલીઓમાં ગર્વથી પોતાની રીક્ષા ચલાવે છે. એ કહે,"હવે હું વટથી રીક્ષા ચલાવું છું!" એનાં ચહેરા પરનો આનંદ અદભૂત.

નસીબ હજુ છાપરામાં રહે છે, ચોમાસામાં ગંદકી અને મુશ્કેલીઓ સહેવી પડે છે,

એનું સપનું ઈકો ગાડી ખરીદવાનું અને પાકુ ઘર બનાવવાનું.

નસીબની મહેનત અને લગન જોઈને એનું સપનુ ઝટ સાકાર થશે એમ ચોક્કસ કહી શકાય.

KRSF અને VSSM ની સંયુક્ત પહેલથી આજ સુધી 12,000 પરિવારો નસીબની જેમ પોતાના પગ પર ઉભા થઈ સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો કરતા થયા છે.

Hiraben bought goods from Mumbai's Chor Bazaar 

When Hiraben said she brought goods from Mumbai’s Chor Bazaar, people assumed she dealt in stolen items. But in reality, she collected things discarded as scrap and sold them in Surendranagar’s Gujri Bazaar.

Hiraben’s story is a living example of courage, struggle, and self-respect. She never stepped into a school, yet learned life’s lessons through experience. In Surendranagar’s Gujri Bazaar, she commands great respect, and people enthusiastically buy goods from her.

When travelling by train with bundles of goods, the police would sometimes stop her and ask what she was carrying — and the answer she gave would leave them stunned.

With the help of a loan from KRSF and VSSM, she expanded her business vigorously. Today she earns well and stands on her own feet.

Hiraben says,“Every woman should earn, because during tough times, if we earn ourselves, we can raise our children well.”

These words are not just her personal experience, but an inspiration to every woman in society.

Living in a small hut in Surendranagar, Hiraben now has a two-room house with a kitchen thanks to VSSM’s efforts. Today she has the comfort of a home, enthusiasm for her work, and peace in her life.

Our volunteer Harshadbhai finds and supports many women like Hiraben. It is an honour to have such compassionate volunteers with us.

Our KRSF founder, Pratulbhai, also heard Hiraben’s story. During his visit to Surendranagar, he met her personally. He, too, felt proud to see such families becoming self-reliant.

Hiraben’s journey was difficult, but with courage, determination, and timely support, her life transformed.

Together with KRSF, VSSM, and many well-wishers, we take pride in having helped more than 12,000 families earn a dignified livelihood.

મુંબઈના ચોર બજારમાંથી હું સામાન લાવું એવું હીરાબહેન કહે ત્યારે રખેને એમ માનતા કે એ ચોરીનો સામાન લાવે. પણ લોકોએ ભંગારમાંથી કાઢી દીધેલો સામાન એ લઈ આવે ને સુરેન્દ્રનગરના ગુજરી બજારમાં વેચે. 

હીરાબહેનની કહાણી હિંમત, સંઘર્ષ અને સ્વાભિમાનનું જીવતું ઉદાહરણ. શાળાનું પગથિયું ન ચડેલા હીરાબહેન જીવનનો પાઠ જાતે શીખ્યા. સુરેન્દ્રનગરની ગુજરી બજારમાં એમનો જબરો દબદબો. લોકો એમની પાસે ઉત્સાહભેર સામાન ખરીદે.

ટ્રેનમાં પોટકા ઉચકીને લાવતી હીરાબહેનને પોલીસ ક્યારેક આ શું લઈને જાવ એવું પૂછે ત્યારે તે પોલીને એ જે જવાબ આપે એ સૌને આશ્ચર્યમાં મૂકે એવો.

KRSF અને VSSM દ્વારા મળેલી લોનથી તેઓએ ધંધો વધારે જોરશોરથી શરૂ કર્યો. આજે સારું કમાય છે, પોતાના પગ પર ઊભા છે.

હીરાબહેન કહે છે – “દરેક બહેને કમાવવું જોઈએ, કેમ કે જીવનના કપરા સમયમાં પોતે કમાતા હોઈએ તો સંતાનોને ઉછેરી શકીએ.”

આ શબ્દો માત્ર એમના અનુભવ નથી, પણ સમાજની દરેક સ્ત્રી માટે પ્રેરણારૃપ.

સુરેન્દ્રનગરના ઝૂંપડામાં રહેતી હીરાબહેનને VSSM ના પ્રયાસોથી હવે બે રૂમ અને રસોડાવાળું ઘર મળ્યું છે. હવે એમને ઘરનો આરામ છે, ધંધાનો ઉત્સાહ છે અને જીવનમાં નિરાંત છે.

અમારા કાર્યકર હર્ષદભાઈ હીરાબેન જેવા અનેકોને શોધી તેમને મદદરૃપ થાય. એમના જેવા સંવેદનશીલ કાર્યકર સાથે હોવાનું ગૌરવ. 

હીરાબહેનની સંઘર્ષની કહાની અમારા KRSF ના સ્થાપક પ્રતુલભાઈએ પણ સાંભળી. સુરેન્દ્રનગર એક કામથી એમને જવાનું થયું ને એમણે હીરાબહેનને મળ્યા. આવા પરિવારોને પગભર કર્યાનો એમને પણ રાજીપો. 

"હિંમત રાખે જેને, માર્ગ ખુદ મળી જાય,

સ્ત્રી જો ઊભી થાય તો દુનિયા પણ એને વંદન કરે."

હીરાબહેનની સફર મુશ્કેલ હતી. પણ એમને હિંમત, મક્કમતા અને સહયોગ મળ્યો એટલે જીવન પણ બદલાયું.

"May the RamNaam stay on my lips, 

Compassion and charity fill my heart; 

Would traverse countless obstacles, 

Salvation     would   be     the     last......"

As if a dream had come true, these heartfelt words of the poet Dulabhaya Kaag has manifested in the life of our Prahladbhai. 

Prahladbhai lives in Lodraa, Gandhinagar. He is very kind-hearted and, despite not having strong financial means, he offers physical support to needy families in any way he can. This selflessness is why nature—shall we say, God !—takes care of him..

He was working for a company when suddenly his health deteriorated. Thankfully, he survived due to timely treatment. Let's say, his selfless deeds were few steps ahead of him, causing his survival.

After his surgery, he could no longer perform heavy labor. He then decided to open an electric tools shop in his village, Lodraa. At that time, he didn’t have enough funds, so he started the business with whatever little money he had. In addition to selling electrical accessories, he also repaired light fixtures, fans, and other electrical appliances.

After contacting our activist Rizwanbhai, we provided a loan to Prahladbhai. This increased the stock levels in his shop, leading to a more organized business setup.

Prahladbhai strongly believes that God takes care of him. "Otherwise, you wouldn't have come to me in my moment of crisis!" he says. His faith is truly remarkable! 

Prahladbhai's business is now well-organized, and he has become a volunteer with our organization. Each month, we provide ration supplies to 700 senior and vulnerable citizens under the "MAAVJAT" (Caring) program, which includes five seniors in Lodraa as well. Our activist, Rizwanbhai, prepares the ration kits, and Prahladbhai delivers these kits to the seniors. Even though he engages in this selfless service, he expresses gratitude to the organization for giving him the opportunity to serve.

We wish for Prahladbhai's continued progress! We are delighted that thousands of families, like Prahladbhai's, have become happier through KRSF and VSSM.

આખરી હોત કલ્યાણ - કવિ દુલાભાયા કાગની આ વાત અમારા પ્રહલાદભાઈના કિસ્સામાં જાણે સાચી ઠરી.

પ્રહલાદભાઈ ગાંધીનગરના લોદ્રામાં રહે. જીવ એકદમ દયાળુ. આર્થિક ક્ષમતા ઝાઝી નહીં છતાં શારીરિક રીતે જે પણ થાય તે ટેકો જરૃરિયાત મંદ પરિવારોને કરે. એટલે જ કુદરતે એમનું ધ્યાન રાખ્યું. 

એક કંપનીમાં એ કામ કરતા હતા. અચાનક તબિયત લથડી પણ સમયસર સારવાર મળી એટલે બચી ગયા. એમણે કરેલા સતકર્મ આગળ આવ્યા.

ઓપરેશન પછી ભારે કામ ન થઈ શકે. એમણે પોતાના લોદરા ગામમાં જ ઈલેટ્રકીટસ ની દુકાન નાખી. એ વખતે પાસે ઝાઝા પૈસા નહોતા જે હતું એમાંથી દુકાન કરી. ઈલેક્ટ્રીક્સનો સામાન વેચવાની સાથે સાથે એ લાઈટ, પંખા રિપેર પણ કરે. 

અમારા કાર્યકર રીઝવાનભાઈના સંપર્કમાં આવ્યા પછી પ્રહલાદભાઈને અમે લોન આપી. જેનાથી એમની દુકાનમાં સામાન વધાર્યો ને ધંધો એકદમ સરસ ગોઠવાઈ ગયો.

પ્રહલાભાઈ માને કે, “ઈશ્વર જ મારુ ધ્યાન રાખે નહીં તો સંકટની ઘડીમાં તમારુ મારી સામે આવવાનું ન થાય!”

કેવી ગજબ શ્રદ્ધા. પ્રહલાદભાઈનો ધંધો એકદમ સરસ ગોઠવાઈ ગયો છે. હવે તો એ અમારા સ્વયંસેવક બની ગયા છે. અમે માવજત કાર્યક્રમ અંતર્ગત દર મહિને 700 બા દાદાને રાશન આપીયે. લોદરામાં પણ આવા પાંચ માવતરોને રેશન આપીએ. અમારા કાર્યકર રીઝવાનભાઈ રેશનકીટ બનાવડાવી દે. પ્રહલાદભાઈ એ કીટ માવતરો સુધી પહોંચાડી દે. આ એમની સેવા. એ તો આ સેવાનો મોકો એમને મળ્યો એ માટે પણ સંસ્થાનો આભાર માને. 

KRSF, VSSM થકી પ્રહલાદભાઈ જેવા હજારો પરિવારો સુખી થયા તેનો રાજીપો.. પ્રહલાદભાઈ હજુ પણ વધારે તરક્કી કરે તેવી શુભભાવના...

Many are walking according to the lines of their hands,

But instead of stars, they are the ones who are truly powerful – Sheikh Adam Abu Wala's words feel truly meaningful when we meet the families we have helped by providing loans to become self-reliant.

More than 1,000 families from the wandering, liberated, and marginalized communities living in Ahmedabad district have taken loans from us and are now running independent businesses. To help these community women organize and start businesses, we also established savings groups. Today, many such savings groups are functioning. We have received help from the Jewelex family and Fine Jewellery for organizing separate activities with the women, for which we are grateful.

After giving loans to those families, we organized a program to honor those borrowers who have made impressive progress after forming savings groups. This program was organized under the guidance of VSSM, KRSF, and the Vimut Foundation in collaboration with the Sadvichar Family in Ahmedabad.

In the event, our Bhikhibhen and Gauribhen, who formed savings groups of ten women each, were honored. Through these savings groups, the women save 100 rupees every month. Bhikhibhen’s group even received a revolving fund of 5 lakh rupees under the Government’s Mission Mangal Scheme.

Bhikhibhen, who once sold cutlery in the market, took a loan from us and expanded her business. Now, she also runs a stall and earns a good income. Her two daughters stayed in our hostel and studied. One of them, Neha, is currently pursuing nursing, while Payal has completed her graduation and works in a company.

Many loan recipients, like Bhikhibhen, shared how their businesses, started with loans, have flourished.

Those borrowers who developed their business the best, even when faced with family hardships and a downturn in their business, but still continued to pay their loan installments, were honored by the respected Pratulbhai Shroff, the founder of the Dr. K.R. Shroff Foundation.

The event also honored our worker Madhubhen, who has been dedicated to the organization’s service activities for many years. The program was a great success, thanks to the strong team of sincere workers such as Madhubhen, Rahul, Nisha, Dinesh, Sachin, Usha, Vishwesh, Kirtan, Vishal, Darshan, and others. It is because of their tireless efforts that through KRSF and VSSM, over 11,000 families across Gujarat, who aspired to run their own businesses, have been given loans. Today, all these families have become self-reliant.

May we always be the cause of everyone’s prosperity. Best wishes to all!

હાથની રેખા પ્રમાણે ચાલનારા છે ઘણા,

ચાલ તારાઓની બદલે એ જ શક્તિમાન - શેખાદમ આબૂવાલાની આ વાત અમે જે પરિવારોને સ્વાવલંબી બનાવવા લોન આપી મદદ કરીએ એ પરિવારોને મળીએ ત્યારે ખરી લાગે.

અમદાવાદ જિલ્લામાં રહેતા વિચરતા વિમુક્ત તેમજ તકવંચિત સમુદાયોમાંના 1000 થી વધારે પરિવારોએ અમારી પાસેથી લોન લીધી અને સ્વતંત્ર વ્યવસાય કરતા થયા. આ સમુદાયની બહેનો સંગઠિત થઈને ધંધો કરતી થાય તે માટે અમે બચતમંડળ પણ બનાવીએ. આજે એવા અનેક બચતમંડળો પણ કાર્યરત છે. બહેનો સાથે અલાયદી પ્રવૃતિ કરવા માટે અમને જ્વેલક્ષે પરિવાર તેમજ ફાઈન જ્વેલરીની મદદ મળી છે. તેમના અમે આભારી છીએ. 

અમે જેમને લોન આપી છે તે લોનધારકોમાંથી તેમજ બચતમંડળ બનાવ્યા પછી ઊડીને આંખે વળગે તેવી પ્રગતિ જેમણે કરી છે તેવા લોનધારકોના સન્માનનો કાર્યક્રમ VSSM, KRSF અને વિમુક્ત ફાઉન્ડેશનની નિશ્રામાં સદવિચાર પરિવાર- અમદાવાદમાં આયોજીત થયો.

કાર્યક્રમમાં અમારા ભીખીબહેન અને ગૌરીબહેને દસ દસ બહેનોના બચત મંડળ બનાવ્યા તેમના સન્માન થયા. આ બહેનોના બચતમંડળ થકી બહેનો નિયમીત દર મહિને બસો રૃપિયાની બચત કરે છે. ભીખીબહેનના મંડળને તો સરકારની મીશન મંગલ યોજના અંતર્ગત 5 લાખ રૃપિયા રીવોલ્વીંગ ફંડ પેટે પણ મળ્યા.

શાકમાર્કેટમાં પથારો પાથરી કટલરી વેચતા ભીખીબહેને અમારી પાસેથી લોન લઈને ઘંઘો મોટો કર્યો. હવે તેઓ લારી પણ ધંધો કરે ને ઘણું કમાય છે. એમની બે દિકરીઓ અમારી હોસ્ટેલમાં રહીને ભણી. જેમાંની નેહા અત્યારે નર્સીગ ભણે છે. જ્યારે પાયલ સ્નાતક થઈ એક કંપનીમાં કામ કરે છે. 

ભીખીબહેન જેવા અનેક લોન ધારકોએ લોન લઈને શરૃ કરેલા ધંધામાં કેવી બરકત થઈ છે તેની વાત કરી. 

ઉપસ્થિતિ લોન ધારકોમાંથી જેમણે સૌથી સારી રીતે પોતાનો ધંધો વિકસાવ્યો હોય. ઘરમાં મુશ્કેલી આવી, ધંધો સાવ બેસી ગયો છતાં નિયમીત લોનના હપ્તા ભર્યા હોય તેવા લોન ધારકોનું સન્માન ડો. કે.આર.શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશનના સ્થાપક આદરણીય પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફના હસ્તે કરવામાં આવ્યું. 

કાર્યક્રમમાં અમારા કાર્યકર મધુબહેનનું પણ સન્માન કરવામાં આવ્યું. વર્ષોથી તેઓ પૂરી નિષ્ઠાથી સંસ્થા દ્વારા થતા સેવાકાર્યમાં તેઓ લાગ્યા રહ્યા છે. 

આ કાર્યક્રમને સફળ બનાવ્યો. મધુબહેન, રાહુલ, નિશા, દિનેશ, સચિન, ઉષા, વિશ્વેશ, કીર્તન, વિશાલ, દર્શને... સંનિષ્ઠ કાર્યકરોની આવી મજબૂત ટીમ અમારી સાથે છે એટલે જ KRSF અને VSSM થકી ગુજરાતભરમાંથી સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો કરવાની ખેવના રાખનાર 11,000 થી વધારે પરિવારોને લોન આપવામાં આવી છે. આ બધા આજે લોન લઈને બે પાંદડે થયા છે. 

સૌના શુભમાં સદાય નિમિત્ત બનીએ તેવી શુભભાવના...

"Didiji, some people are born with such luck. In their life, they never face the struggles we went through. I had to study, but our financial situation was weak, so at night, we would do wheat farming and work till morning. After sleeping for two hours in the morning, I would go to school. I studied while doing such labor... But I see so many people, and I wonder how blessed they are with happiness.

Our Darshan sometimes says, "He studied in our hostel. He worked really hard. Today, he earns well. But the struggles he faced are nothing compared to many others."

Bhaveshbhai, who lives in Babarmeli, Amreli, also worked in a brick kiln as a child and went to school. But after working hard in the kiln, studying became impossible. He would get so tired. He started a small shop selling golis and biscuits in front of his house while studying in 8th grade. He ran the shop from 8 to 10 in the morning and 5 to 8 in the evening, spending the rest of the time in school. From the profits from the shop, he covered his expenses and contributed a small amount to his family.

He studied until 12th grade this way. He couldn’t continue further education, but he increased the stock in his shop and the business grew. After that, he got married and had children.

He wanted to buy a fridge for his shop. Having a fridge would increase the profits. But he didn’t have enough money to buy it at once. Our worker Rameshbhai gave him a loan, and the fridge was brought to Bhaveshbhai’s shop. After the fridge was brought, his income increased. When asked how his income increased, he said, "Now we keep milk, curd, buttermilk, cold drinks, and ice cream. The demand for these products increased, so my income grew."

After listening to him, I said, "You are happy, and we are happy too," laughing. He replied, "Sister, the greatest happiness now is that my wife never has to go out for work. If I have to work outside, she takes care of the shop."

KRSF and VSSM have provided loans to over 10,000 families with the intention of encouraging independent businesses. When people like Bhaveshbhai talk about their success, it feels like our self-reliance program is making a difference."

દીદી કેટલાક લોકો કેવા નસીબ લઈને જન્મે? એમના જીવનમાં અમે વેઠ્યો એવો સંઘર્ષ જરાય નહીં. મારે ભણવું હતું પણ ઘરની સ્થિતિ નબળી તે રાતે ઘઉં વાઢવાના કામો ઉચક રાખતા ને સવાર સુધી એ કરીએ. સવારે બે કલાક ઊંઘી પાછા નિશાળે. આવી મજૂરી કરીને ભણ્યો..પણ હું કેટલા બધાને જોવું છું ભગવાને એમને કેવું સુખ આપ્યું છે..."

અમારો દર્શન આવું ક્યારેક કહી દે.. અમારી હોસ્ટેલમાં જ એ ભણ્યો. ખૂબ મહેનત કરી. આજે એ સરસ કમાય. પણ દર્શન જેવો સંઘર્ષ અનેકોનો.

અમરેલીના બાબરમાં રહેતા ભાવેશભાઈ પણ નાનપણમાં ઈંટોના ભઠ્ઠામાં કામે જાય સાથે નિશાળમાં પણ..

પણ ભઠ્ઠામાં કાળી મજૂરી પછી ભણવાનું ન થાય. થાકી જવાય. એમણે ગોળી, બિસ્કીટની નાની દુકાન ઘર આગળ ધો.8માં ભણતા ત્યારથી શરૃ કરી. સવારે 8 થી 10 અને સાંજે 5થી 8 દુકાન ચલાવે ને બાકીનો સમય નિશાળમાં. દુકાનમાં મળતા નફામાંથી એ પોતાનો ખર્ચ ઉપાડતા ને નાનકડી રકમ ઘરમાં આપતા.

આ રીતે ધો. 12 સુધી ભણ્યા. આગળ ભણવાનું ન થયું એમણે દુકાનમાં સામાન થોડો વધાર્યો ને ધંધો આગળ ચાલ્યો. એ પછી તો લગ્ન ને બાળકો પણ થયા. 

દુકાનમાં એમને ફ્રીજ લાવવું હતું. ફ્રીજ આવે તો દુકાનમાં નફો વધી શકે. પણ એક સાથે ફ્રીજ લાવવા પૈસા નહીં. અમારા કાર્યકર રમેશભાઈએ લોન આપી ને ભાવેશભાઈની દુકાનમાં ફ્રીજ આવ્યું. 

ફ્રીજ આવતા એમની આવક વધી. કેમ આવક વધી એના જવાબમાં એમણે કહ્યું, "દૂધ, દહીં, છાશ, ઠંડા પીણાં, આઈસ્ક્રીમ હવે રાખીએ. એની ખરીદી વધારે થાય એટલે આવક વધી."

એમની વાત સાંભળી તમે સુખી તો અમે સુખી એમ હસીને કહ્યું તો કહે, "બેન મોટુ સુખ તો હવે ઘરવાળીને ક્યાંય કામે જવું નથી પડતું એનું. હું બહાર કામ હોય તો જવું તો મારી ઘરવાળી ને મા દુકાન સંભાળી લે.."

KRSF અને VSSMએ સ્વતંત્ર ધંધાની ખેવના રાખનાર 10,000 થી વધારે પરિવારોને લોન આપી પગભર કર્યા છે. ભાવેશભાઈ જેવા વ્યક્તિઓ જ્યારે પોતાની સફળતાની વાત કરે ત્યારે અમારો સ્વાવલંબન કાર્યક્રમ લેખે લાગ્યો હોય એમ લાગે..

"The diamond business has been in decline for many years, and the pandemic added insult to injury. We have no land to cultivate, so we needed to find a way to make a living. I didn't know what to do at first, but one day I decided to open a small shop in front of my house. With little money we had, we bought cement, stones, and bricks to build walls, and covered the shop with tin plates. I filled it up with biscuits and packaged foods. Eventually, I began earning enough to put food on the table, but that was about it—I couldn’t progress any further than that."

Bharatbhai, who lived in Baabar, Amreli, found himself in a situation reminiscent of the lyrics of "Shekhadam Abuwala." His shop was operating as expected, but he believed it could perform better. He thought that by adding more items to his inventory and purchasing a freezer, he could boost his business.

Bharatbhai approached our volunteer, Rameshbhai, to request a loan for a refrigerator, which we granted. He began using the fridge to store milk, curd, buttermilk, and cold drinks. As a result, his business income increased. 

When we met Bharatbhai, he expressed a desire to expand his business further. With a little support, his dreams have grown. We are very pleased to see his progress!

"હીરામાં ઘણા ટેમથી મંદી હાલે, કોરોનાએ પાસુ પડતામાં પાટુ માઈર્યું. અમારી પાહે ખેતી બેતી કાંઈ નો જડે. પેટિયું રળવા કાંક તો કરવું જોવે. હમજાતું નોતું હું કરુ? એક દિ વિચાર આયવો ઘર આગળ નાનકડી દુકાન કરવાનો. થોડા ઘણા પૈસા હતા તે એમાંથી પાણા ને સીમેન્ટ લાવી દુકાન ચણી પતરાથી ઢાંકી દીધી. બે હજારનો સામાન (પડીકા ને બિસ્કીટ) દુકાનમાં ભરાઈવો. રોટલા જોગુ આમાંથી મળવા માંઈડ્યું. હાશ થઈ પણ આટલાથી કાંઈ આગળ નો વધાય."

ચાલ તારાઓની બદલે એ જ શક્તિમાન છે - શેખાદમ આબુવાલાના આ વાક્ય જેવું જ થયું કાંઈ અમરેલીના બાબરમાં રહેતા ભરતભાઈના કિસ્સામાં થયું. એમની દુકાન એમના કહ્યા પ્રમાણ ચાલતી પણ ઝાઝુ મળતર નહોતું. દુકાનમાં સામાનનો ઉમેરો અથવા ફ્રીઝ લેવાય તો ધંધો વધે એવી એમની લાગણી.

આમારા કાર્યકર રમેશભાઈને ભરતભાઈએ ફ્રીઝ માટે લોન આપવા કહ્યું ને અમે લોન આપી.

The term "women's empowerment" has become quite common nowadays. But the question arises: What does empowerment really mean? Is it empowerment for a woman to step out of the house and work? Or is it empowerment to walk shoulder to shoulder with men?

Like me, many people don't consider these things as true empowerment. True empowerment is when a woman can make her own decisions in her own way.

I recently met Puja, who is an example of true empowerment. She is not very old, maybe not even 25. She got married to a man from the village of Bidaj and moved there. Her husband worked as a farm laborer and managed the household. After marriage, Puja also worked as a laborer. But then, she had a daughter, and she couldn’t bear to leave her.

Puja knew how to do stitching. Her mother had taught her, but she didn't have a sewing machine. Her husband could barely bring home enough to meet the basic needs, so where would they get a sewing machine?

We work to ensure that families living in this settlement receive their rights as citizens. We helped them obtain ration cards and caste-income certificates. We also provided some loans.

Our dear friend, Indra Modi, along with Dimpleben, visited us to see our work. At that time, our worker Rajnibhai suggested that we could help Puja by providing her with a sewing machine, which would benefit her greatly.

Indrabhai listened to this and said he would help her get a sewing machine. He then provided Puja with a machine.

After about three months, Puja had to go back to Bidaj, and I met her again. She was happy. She was earning 300 to 500 rupees a day from her stitching work. She said, "Now I don’t have to ask my family for money to run the household. I save too. Whenever I need to go somewhere or buy something, I have money in my hands, and I don’t have to argue. I can make my own decisions."

What a powerful statement Puja made. We are so happy to have been a part of her journey.

સ્ત્રી સશક્તિકરણ આ શબ્દનો ઉપયોગ હવે ઘણો થવા માંડ્યો છે. 

ત્યારે સવાલ થાય સશક્તિકરણ એટલે શું?

શું ઘરની બહાર નીકળી નોકરી કરવી એ સશક્તિકરણ? પુરુષોની સાથે ખભે થી ખભે મેળવી ચાલવું એ સશક્તિકરણ?

મારી જેમ અનેક લોકો આને સશક્તિકરણ નથી માનતા પણ દરેક સ્ત્રી પોતાની રીતે પોતાના દરેક નિર્ણય લઈ શકે તે સાચુ સશક્તિકરણ.. 

પોતાના નિર્ણય લેનાર પુજાને હમણાં મળવાનું થયું. એની ઉંમર બહુ મોટી નહીં. કદાચ પચીસી પણ નથી વટાવી એણે. આમ એ ડીસાની ને લગ્ન કરી એ ખેડાના બીડજ માં આવી. પતિ ખેત મજૂરી કરે ને એના પર ઘર ચાલે. પૂજા પણ લગ્ન પછી મજૂરીએ જતી. પણ પછી દિકરી આવી. ઝીણકીને મૂકીને જવા મન ન માને...

એને સિલાઈ કામ આવડે. પૂજાની મમ્મીએ એ શીખવાડેલું. પણ મશીન એની પાસે નહીં. પતિ તો માંડ બે ટંક ચાલે એટલું રળી લાવે ત્યાં મશીન ક્યાંથી લાવે.

આ વસાહતમાં રહેતા પરિવારોને નાગરિક તરીકે અધિકારો મળે તે માટે અમે કામ કરીએ. રેશનકાર્ડ ને જાતિ - આવકના દાખલા અમે કઢાવ્યા. કેટલાકને લોન પણ આપી. 

અમારા આ કાર્યને જોવા અમારા પ્રિયજન ઈન્દ્ર મોદી અમારા ડિમ્પલબેન સાથે ગયા. ને એ વખતે અમારા કાર્યકર રજનીભાઈએ પૂજાને મશીન લાવવામાં મદદ કરીએ તો એને ઘણો ફાયદો થાયની વાત કરી. 

આ વાત ઈન્દ્રભાઈએ સાંભળી ને એમણે મશીન લઈ આપવામાં મદદ કરવા કહ્યું. એ પછી પૂજાને મશીન લાવી આપ્યું. 

મશીન આપ્યાના ત્રણેક મહિના પછી પાછા બીડજ જવાનું થયું ને પૂજાને પાછા મળ્યા. એ રાજી રાજી. રોજનું 300 થી  500નું કામ એ કરી લે છે. એ કહે, 'ઘર ચલાવવ હવે મારા ઘરવાળા પાસે પૈસા માંગવા નથી પડતા. બચત પણ કરુ છું. ક્યાંક જવું હોય કશું લેવું હોય તો હાથમાં પૈસા હોય તો પછી બીજી માથાકૂટ નહીં. હું મારા નિર્ણયો જાતે લઈ શકુ છું.'

કેવી મોટી વાત પૂજાએ કરી. અમે પૂજાના રાજીપામાં નિમિત્ત બન્યા એની ખુશી..

આદરણીય ઈન્દ્ર મોદી નો ઘણો આભાર. તેઓ વર્ષોથી અમારી સાથે સંકળાઈને જે મદદ કરે છે એ માટે હરખ...

To build a better society, it is very important for everyone to come together and support each other. Instead of pulling each other down, if we pull each other up, the marginalized people in society will automatically rise.

Pratulbhai Shroff, the founder of KRSF, personally believed in this idea and decided to do what he could to solve various social issues.

KRSF has contributed significantly in the field of education, but now it is also helping those who wish to become self-reliant through the VSSM platform. Together, both organizations have helped more than 9,400 families become financially stable through loans.

Pratulbhai went to the village of Dabhana to understand what kind of businesses people were running by taking loans from the organization. There, he met Prakashbhai, who drove a rickshaw. He had an old rickshaw and did not have enough money to buy a new one, so he bought a heavily worn-out rickshaw with a small amount of capital. However, it was very costly to maintain, and he was just able to earn enough to get by.

Prakashbhai, who was associated with VSSM, spoke to the worker Rajnibhai about the loan, and he was given a loan from KRSF. He used that loan to make a down payment and took the remaining amount as a loan from a finance company to buy a new rickshaw.

Now, Prakashbhai is at peace. He regularly pays both the organization and the finance company's installments.

Prakashbhai shared his journey from the old rickshaw to the new one with Pratulbhai. When Pratulbhai asked him about his dream, Prakashbhai said, "Once I pay off the current loan, I plan to buy another new rickshaw. If I rent it out, I can earn 9,000 to 10,000 rupees a month. My son will become a wage earner."

Listening to this, we were all filled with joy. A person gets exhausted from struggles, and before they lose hope, if we support them, they find the strength to move forward. This is the kind of encouragement that KRSF provided. This is the result... 

ઉત્તમ સમાજ નિર્માણ માટે સૌ એકબીજા સાથે આવે, મદદરૃપ થાય તે ખુબ જરૂરી. પગ ખેંચવા કરતા હાથ ખેંચીએ તો સમાજમાં રહેતા વંચિતો આપોઆપ ઉપર આવી જાય.

વ્યક્તિ રીતે આવું માનનાર KRSF ના સ્થાપક અમારા પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફે વિવિધ સામાજિક સમસ્યાઓના નિવારણ માટે પોતાનાથી બનતું કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું.

શિક્ષણ ક્ષેત્રે તો KRSF ઘણું કરે પણ હવે સ્વાવલંબી બનવાની ખેવના રાખનારને VSSM ના માધ્યમથી મદદ કરે. બેય સંસ્થાએ સાથે રહીને 9400 થી વધારે પરિવારોને આર્થિક રીતે સદ્ધર થવા લોન રૃપે મદદ કરી.

ખેડાના ડભાણમાં પ્રતુલભાઈ સંસ્થામાંથી લોન લઈને લોકો કેવા કેવા વ્યવસાય કરે છે તે સમજવા ગયા. ત્યાં પ્રકાશભાઈ મળ્યા. જેઓ રીક્ષા ચલાવે. એમની પાસે પહેલા જુની રીક્ષા હતી. નવી ખરીદવા પૈસા નહીં એટલે નાનકડી મૂડી માંથી એકદમ ખખડધજ રીક્ષા ખરીદી. પણ એમાં ખર્ચ ઘણો આવે. માંડ ખાવા જોગુ નીકળે. 

VSSM સાથે સંકળાયેલા પ્રકાશભાઈએ કાર્યકર રજનીભાઈને લોન માટે વાત કરીને KRSF માંથી એમને લોન મળી. એમાંથી એમણે ડાઉન પેમેન્ટ ભર્યું ને બાકીની રકમ ફાયનાન્સ કંપની માંથી લોન પેટે લીધી ને એમણે નવી રીક્ષા લીધી.

હવે પ્રકાશભાઈને નિરાંત છે. સંસ્થા તેમજ ફાયનાન્સ કંપની બેયના હપ્તા તેઓ નિયમીત ભરે. 

પ્રકાશભાઈએ પ્રતુલભાઈને પોતાના જુની રીક્ષામાંથી નવી રીક્ષા સુધી પહોંચ્યાના સંઘર્ષની વાત કરી. જ્યારે સ્વપ્ન શું છે તેવું પ્રતુલભાઈએ પુછ્યું તો એમણે કહ્યું, 'હાલની લોન પતાવી એક નવી રીક્ષા લાવવાની. એ રીક્ષા ભાડે આપી દઉ તો મહિને 9 થી 10 હજારની કમાણી થાય. એક કમાઉ દીકરો થઈ જાય.'

સાંભળીને અમે સૌ હરખાયા. માણસ તકલીફોથી થાકી જાય એ પહેલા એનો ટેકો કરી દઈએ તો એને હિંમત મળી જાય. બસ આ હિંમત આપવાનું કામ KRSF કર્યું. એનો રાજીપો...

"To Achieve Financial Stability, One Needs Many Dreams and Equally Great Effort

However, often due to lack of money, we have to step back. We might get money at high interest rates, but then we get buried in that interest. In such situations, VSSM and KRSF came along. They provided loans to thousands of families like mine. We all took loans and managed to stand on our own two feet. We will always be indebted to these organizations for understanding our difficulties."

A meeting was organized to discuss what further steps to take with the wandering tribes and disadvantaged families living in Kheda district, who took loans from us and started their own independent businesses.

Listening to everyone’s dreams in the meeting was heartening. The vision of the esteemed Pratullabhai Shroff and Dr. K.R. Shroff Foundation also joined this endeavor. Therefore, the journey that started with five people in 2014 has now reached 8,200 families.

We have provided loans to more than 800 families living in Kheda and Anand districts. Detailed discussions were held with these loan recipients on how we can further help to expand their businesses.

The hard work of our workers, Rajnibhai and Milan, is commendable. It is because of their efforts that we have reached these numbers.

Our resolve for the next five years is to help 200 of the current loan recipients become lakhpatis (earning in lakhs). Discussions were held on where the opportunities lie for this.

If a person becomes financially stable, they will quickly overcome the difficulties they currently face. That is our goal and direction of effort.

'આર્થિક રીતે સદ્ધર થવાના સપના ઘણા જોઈએ, મહેનત પણ એવી જ કરીએ. પણ ઘણી વખત પૈસાના અભાવે પગ પાછા પડે. તગડા વ્યાજે પૈસા મળે પણ એ વ્યાજમાં મરી જવાય. આવામાં VSSM અને KRSF સાથે આવ્યું. મારા જેવા હજારો પરિવારોને લોન આપી. હું ને અહીંયા બેઠેલા બધા લોન લઈને બે પાંદડે થયા. સંસ્થા સાથે આવી અમારી દુવિધા સમજી એ માટે અમે સંસ્થાના સદાય ઋણી રહીશું.'

ખેડા જિલ્લામાં રહેતા વિચરતી જાતિના અને વંચિત પરિવારો કે જેમણે અમારી પાસેથી લોન લઈને સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો કર્યો છે તેમની સાથે ભવિષ્યમાં હજુ શું કરવું છે તે બાબતે વાત કરવા બેઠક આયોજીક કરી.

બેઠકમાં સૌના સપના સાંભળીને રાજી થવાયું. આ કાર્યમાં આદરણીય પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફ - ડો. કે.આર.શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશનનું વિઝન પણ ભળ્યું એટલે 2014માં પાંચ વ્યક્તિથી શરૃ કરેલી આ સફર અત્યારે 8200 પરિવારો સુધી પહોંચી.

ખેડા અને આણંદ જિલ્લામાં રહેતા 800 થી વધારે પરિવારોને અમે લોન આપી. આ લોન ધારકો સાથે તેમના ધંધાને વધારે આગળ વધારવા હજુ વધારે શું મદદ કરી શકીએ તે અંગે વિસ્તૃત ચર્ચા થઈ. તેમજ લોન લઈને જેમને સરસ પ્રગતિ કરી તેમનું સન્માન પણ કર્યુ..

અમારા કાર્યકર રજનીભાઈ અને મીલનની મહેનત જબરી... એ બેઉના કારણે જ આ આંકડા સુધી પહોંચી શક્યા.

આવનારા પાંચ વર્ષમાં હાલમાં જેમને લોન આપી છે તેમાંના 200 લોકો લખપતિ થાય તે રીતે મદદ કરવાનો સંકલ્પ છે. એ માટે કોનામાં શક્યતાઓ પડેલી છે તે અંગે પણ વાતો થઈ..

માણસ આર્થિક રીતે સદ્ધર થશે તો હાલ જે તકલીફ વેઠે છે તેમાંથી તે ઝટ બહાર નીકળી જશે.. બસ એ દિશામાં અમારો પ્રયત્ન..

We are the record-keepers, Barots, of the Rajasthani Rabari community, maintaining their genealogies. We followed the Rabari community for generations. However, droughts frequently occur in Rajasthan, creating employment issues. Therefore, we migrated to Gujarat and took up labor work. Now, we visit our native Doha in Rajasthan every two to five years to update the genealogies.

Whenever any of our people visit, the Rabari community honors us greatly. They provide us with a bed, and we read their genealogies from our records, write about the new generation, and receive the gifts we request." This was shared by young Sabir and Daliya Bhai.

The Mir Barot families have been living in huts in Patan for years, with a single wish for a permanent home. However, these wandering families are not listed in the nomadic tribes' list. Therefore, they are not allocated plots for residence. Despite living in huts, these families are not included in the BPL (Below Poverty Line) list and thus do not receive assistance under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme.

Sabir Bhai brought the records written by his father to us. Only his father could read the language written in those records. None of us could decipher the words.

Sabir Bhai and Daliya Bhai decorate vehicles and make ve hicle ornaments. They bring small amounts of materials and run their business. However, their earnings barely cover their basic needs. As they said, it's hard to make ends meet.

We helped these families get their Aadhar cards, voter IDs, and ration cards. During this time, our Patan activist, Mohan Bhai, thought of providing a loan to these two brothers to help them get a plot. He initially gave each brother a loan of thirty thousand rupees. The brothers used the money wisely.

After repaying one loan, they took another and then another, gradually expanding their business. Now, they have their equipment and have started saving in the bank. Instead of buying ready-made materials, they now purchase raw materials and prepare the decorations at home.

Both brothers have a strong desire to have a permanent house of their own. We are pleased to be able to help such hardworking families.

KRSF and VSSM are jointly advancing the self-reliance program. So far, more than 8,200 families have been provided with loans to start their own businesses. This number continues to grow day by day.

The honorable Pratul Bhai Shroff's dream is to enable 25,000 families to run their businesses this way in the next five years. We wish for everyone's happiness and prosperity.

'અમે રાજસ્થાની રબારી સમાજના વહીવંચા બારોટ એમની વંશાવળી(પેઢીનામુ) લખવાનું કામ કરનારા. રબારી સમાજની પાછળ પાછળ અમે પેઢીઓ ફર્યા. પણ રાજસ્થાનમાં દુકાળ ત્યાં ઘણો પડે ને રોજગારના પ્રશ્નો ઊભા થાય. એટલે અમે ગુજરાતમાં ઊતરી આવ્યા. અહીંયા આવીને મજુરીયે વળગ્યા. હાલ અમારા ડોહા રાજસ્થાનમાં બે પાંચ વર્ષે જાય ને વંશાવળી લખે.

અમારા કોઈ પણ વ્યક્તિ ત્યાં જાય તો રબારી સમાજ અમને ખુબ સન્માન આપે. ખાટલો આપે. અમે ચોપડો ખોલીને એમની પેઢી વાંચીયે, નવી પેઢી વિષે લખીયે પછી અમે જે ભેટ સોગાદ માંગીયે એ આપે..'

યુવાન સબીર અને દલિયાભાઈએ આ કહ્યું..

પાટણમાં છાપરાં બાંધી વર્ષોથી મીર બારોટ પરિવારો રહે. એમની એક જ ઝંખના પાક્કા ઘરની. પણ વિચરતુ જીવન જીવતા આ પરિવારોનો સમાવેશ વિચરતી જાતિની યાદીમાં નહીં. એટલે રહેવા માટે પ્લોટ ફાળવવામાં મેળ પડતો નથી. ને છાપરાંમાં રહેતા હોવા છતાં આ પરિવારો બીપીએલ યાદીમાં નથી આમ પ્રધાનમંત્રી આવાસ યોજના અંતર્ગત પણ એમને મદદ ન મળે.

ખેર સબીરભાઈ એમના પિતા જે ચોપડા લખતા તે લઈ અમારા પાસે આવ્યા. ચોપડામાં લખેલી ભાષા તો એમના બાપા જ વાંચી શકે. અમે કોઈ એ શબ્દો ન ઉકેલી ન શક્યા. 

સબીરભાઈ અને દલિયાભાઈ વાહનોને શણગારવાનું કામ કરે. વાહનોના નજરિયા પણ બનાવે.. થોડો થોડો સામાન લાવીને ધંધો કરે. પણ એમાં ખાવા પીવાનું નીકળે. એ લોકો કહે એમ બે પાંદડે ન થવાય.

આ પરિવારોના આધારકાર્ડ, મતદારકાર્ડ, રેશનકાર્ડ બને તે માટે અમે મદદ કરી. પ્લોટ મળે તે માટે પણ મથીયે એ વખતે આ બે ભાઈઓને લોન આપવાનો વિચાર અમારા પાટણના કાર્યકર મોહનભાઈને આવ્યો ને એમણે પ્રથમ બે ભાઈઓને ત્રીસ- ત્રીસ હજારની લોન આપી. જેમાંથી બે ભાઈઓએ સરસ વકરો કર્યો. 

એક લોન પતાવી બીજી ને ત્રીજી એમ લોન લેતા ગયા, ધંધો વધારતા ગયા. હાલ એમની પાસે પોતાના સાધનો થઈ ગયા. બેંકમાં બચત પણ થઈ. હવે તૈયાર સામાનની જગ્યાએ ઘણો સામાન એ કાચો લાવે ને પછી ઘરેથી એ સાધનોનો શણગાર તૈયાર કરે.

બેય ભાઈની ઈચ્છા પોતાાનું પાક્કુ ધર ઝટ થાય એવી. 

અમને રાજીપો આવા મહેનતકશ પરિવારોને ક્યાંક મદદ કરી શક્યાનો..

KRSF અને VSSM સાથે મળીને સ્વાવલંબન કાર્યક્રમને આગળ વધારી રહ્યા છે. અત્યાર સુધી 8200 થી વધુ પરિવારોને સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો કરવા લોન આપી છે. આ આંકડો દિવસે દિવસે વધવાનો.. 

આદરણીય પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફનું સ્વપ્ન આવનારા પાંચ વર્ષમાં 25000 પરિવારોને આ પ્રકારે ધંધો કરતા કરવાનું છે.. બસ સૌ સુખી થાય તેવી શુભભાવના...

Mittal Patel meets Dakshaben

"I needed to earn for myself. It's not that my husband doesn't earn; he does, but I wanted to stand on my own feet."

Typically, when a girl is studying, she aims to earn and become independent, but in many cases, after marriage, her aspirations take a back seat. Family members may say that she shouldn't work, and often, the girl accepts that.

However, Dakshaben says, "If we earn, then no matter what situation arises in the future, we can face it." Although she didn’t specify any particular situation, it was clear from her perspective as a woman.

We see many educated women who, after marriage, do not insist on being independent and, after some time, find themselves in situations where they struggle to figure out how to start anew.

That’s why every woman should earn, says Dakshaben from Jetpur in Mahisagar. Her husband drives a car. Dakshaben isn’t highly educated, but she knows how to rear livestock. She took a loan from VSSM-KRSF and bought cows. Currently, she earns around ten thousand a month by selling milk at the dairy.

She expresses, "I want to manage the dairy so that I can earn more and provide a good education for my children."

It’s heartening to see women progressing with the determination to live with dignity.

We are very grateful for the significant support from KRSF in this effort. We have provided loans to 8,500 people, and 50 percent of those loans went to women. We hope to see this number increase.

'મારા માટે કમાવવું જરૃરી હતું. એવું નથી કે પતિ નથી કમાતા એ કમાય પણ મારે મારા પગ પર ઊભા રહેવું હતું.'

સામાન્ય રીતે છોકરી ભણતી હોય ત્યારે એના સમણાં કમાવવાના એટલે કે પગભર થવાના હોય પણ ઘણા કિસ્સામાં લગ્ન પછી એના એ સમણાં પર પાણી ફરી વળે. ઘરવાળા આપણે નોકરી નથી કરવાની એવું કહી દે ને છોકરી એ વાત સ્વીકારી લે..

પણ દક્ષાબહેન કહે, 'આપણે કમાતા હોઈએ તો  ભવિષ્યમાં કોઈ પણ સ્થિતિ આપણી સામે આવે તો આપણે એનો સામાનો કરી શકીએ.' એમણે કઈ પરિસ્થિતિ એની ચોખવટ ન કરી પણ એક સ્ત્રી હોવાના નાતે એ સમજી શકાય એવું હતું.

અનેક ભણેલી ગણેલી સ્ત્રીઓને આપણે જોઈ છે જેમણે લગ્ન પછી પગભર થવા સાસરીયા સામે જીદ નથી કરી અને એક સમય પછી પગભર થવું પડે એવી સ્થિતિ નિર્માણ પામી ત્યારે એમને ક્યાંથી શરૃ કરવું તે સમજાતું નહોતું..

એટલે જ દરેક સ્ત્રીએ કમાવવું જોઈએ એવું મહિસાગરના જેતપુરના દક્ષાબહેન કહે. એમના પતિ ગાડી ચલાવે. દક્ષાબેન ઝાઝુ ભણ્યા નથી. પણ પશુપાલન એમને આવડે. એમણે VSSM- KRSF માંથી લોન લીધી ને ગાયો ખરીદી. હાલ ડેરીમાં દૂધ ભરાવી મહિને દસેક હજાર એ કમાઈ લે છે.

એ કે છે, 'મારે તબેલો કરવો છે. જેથી વધારે આવક થાય તો મારા બાળકોને સારુ ભણાવી શકુ..'

સ્વામનપૂર્વક જીવવાની જીદ સાથે બહેનોને આગળ વધતી જોઈને રાજી થવાય.

KRSF આ કાર્યમાં ખુબ મોટો સહયોગ કરે એમનો ઘણો આભાર... અમે 8500 લોકોને લોન આપી એમાંથી 50 ટકા લોન બહેનોને આપી. આ આંકડો વધે તેમ ઈચ્છીએ...
