Mittal Patel gives sewing machine to Zakirbhai and his wife 

A freak accident in 2012 had slit open Zakirbhai’s leg into two. 11 surgeries later, Zakirbhai still finds it difficult to remain standing after some time and walks with the help of a stick. The treatment required them to sell off the house they owned.

We appealed one of our well-wishers to help the family, providing ration kit was not a permanent solution.  We suggested they start a business, but before Zakirbhai could reply his wife spoke up, I don’t have a sewing machine. I work on someone else’s machine and the money  helps me meet the household expenses. If I have my own machine my income will increase.

Our dear Krishnakant Uncle and Indira Auntie immediately offered to support when they were briefed about Zakirbhai’s family.

At our office to collect the machine, Zakirbhai’s wife was in tears when she narrated their painful living condition after her husband’s medical emergency.  “We do not like to stretch our arms for help, but we do not have a choice!” she mentioned.

“Ben, can you get me a job of liftman, which I can do sitting on a stool.” Zakirbhai requested while leaving.

ઝાકીરભાઈને 2012માં અકસ્માત થયો ને એક પગ જાણે વચમાંથી ચિરાઈ જ ગયો. 11 ઓપરેશન થયા. માલિકીનું ઘર વેચાઈ ગયું. ત્યારે જતા લાકડીના ટેકે ચાલી શકે એવી સ્થિતિ થઈ. જો કે વધુ સમય માટે ઊભા રહેવું તો આજેય મુશ્કેલ.

આવા ઝાકીરભાઈને મદદ કરવા એક પ્રિયજને કહ્યું. રાશનકીટ એક બે વખત આપી પણ એ કાયમી ઉકેલ નહીં.

અમે એમને ધંધો કરવા કહ્યું. પણ ઝાકીરભાઈ કાંઈ જવાબ આપે તે પહેલાં તેમના પત્નીએ કહ્યું, મારી પાસે નથી. હું બીજાના ત્યાં જઈને સિલાઈ કામ કરુ છુ ને એનાથી ઘર ચલાવું મને પોતાનું મશીન મળે તો મારી આવક વધે. 

અમારા પ્રિય ક્રિષ્ણકાંત મહેતા અને ઈન્દિરા આંટીને વાત કરી ને એમણે તો તુરત આવા પરિવારોને મદદ કરવા હા ભણી. 

સિલાઈનું મશીન લેવા ઝાકીરભાઈ ને તેમના પત્ની ઓફીસ પર આવ્યા ત્યારે સ્થિતિની વાત કરતા કરતા તેમના પત્નીના આંખમાં ઝળઝળિયા આવી ગયા. 

માંગવું ગમે નહીં પણ સ્થિતિ એવી એટલે....

ઝાકીરભાઈએ જતા જતા, મને લીફ્ટમેનની નોકરી મળે કે બેઠા બેઠા થઈ શકે એવું કોઈ કામ મળે તો અપાવજો બેન એવું કહ્યું..

વટવામાં આવું કોઈ કામ હોય તો ચોક્કસ જણાવજો. 

આ અને આવા કેટલાય પરિવારોને આર્થિક રીતે બેઠા કરવા સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો કરી શકે તે માટે સાધન આપવા મદદ કરનાર ક્રિષ્ણકાંત અને આંટીનો આભાર...

Mittal Patel meets Pratap during her visit to Tramba

 “Ben, I promise to be  back to my good old days in the next six months…”

Pratap resides in Rajkot’s Tramba. Like most, Pratap could not escape the second wave of Covid 19; after 28 days of hospitalisation at Dharpur he was left with severely weak lungs. The entire episode had shattered him physically as well as mentally. 

During his Covid illness, VSSM remained in constant touch with Pratap as well as his treating doctors. Pratap defeated the virus, but the fear that he might not survive without oxygen support stayed in his mind. To calm his state of mind, the doctors asked him to go home with oxygen support. Pratap however, refused to leave the hospital. We tried to explain the situation to him, convince him,  but he refused to go back home. One day,  I had to reprimand him over the phone and order him to take immediate discharge from the hospital. I asked our Mohanbhai to make arrangements to bring him home along with oxygen support.

Finally,  he did get up from his bed but he continued to complain of breathlessness and weakness both of which were true. His wife took good care to ensure he recovers well. VSSM’s Kanubhai and Chayaben are great friends with Pratap, they would visit him daily and boost his confidence.  

Gradually,  he gained his health back but the illness drained him financially.

Pratap was into the business of plastic retail, the loans VSSM provided had helped him expand his business. He would buy goods at wholesale rates and retail to small vendors. The income was good and so were his savings. He had plans to buy a Bolero car to increase his outreach. But Covid had messed up his calculation.

The family had reached a stage where they had no food in the house. Pratap never accepted charity, “I can never digest charity,” he would tell us with great dignity. But the situation was such that he had no choice but to accept charity.

Our Krishnakant uncle and Indira aunty supported his treatment and recuperation.

Once Pratap regained his health and confidence his desire to repair his business also increased. “How to begin?” was the question that troubled him. He had no courage to request a loan. But,  we were aware of his condition. With support from YVO, we asked him to stock his goods from a new loan of Rs. 25,000.

“Ben, I used to buy goods in lacs. How will this much suffice my need?” he tells me when I was in Tramba.

I shared examples of individuals like him who had worked their way up from scratch.

“I promise to reach my earlier glory in the next six months!” he told me after my pep talk.

We were delighted to hear that. Apart from the support, Pratap needed someone to push his courage, our conversation proved to be it….

'હું છો મહિનામાં પહેલાં જે સ્થિતિએ હતો એ સ્થિતિએ ફેર પહોંચી જઈશ બેન..'

પ્રતાપ રાજકોટના ત્રાંબામાં રહે. કોરાનાની બીજી લહેરેમાં એ કોરોનામાં પટકાયો. 28 દિવસ પાટણની ધારપુર હોસ્પીટલમાં રહ્યો. ફેફસા સાવ નબળા પડ્યા. માનસીક રીતે ભાંગી પડ્યો. 

એના ખબર તો રોજ પુછીએ સાથે ડોક્ટર સાથે વાત પણ કરીએ.  કોરોનાથી એ મુક્ત તો થયો પણ મનમાં ઓક્સીજન કાઢશે તો નહીં બચુ એવો ભય ધુસી ગયેલો. ડોક્ટરે ઓક્સિજનની વ્યવસ્થા સાથે ઘરે લઈ જવા કહ્યું.

પણ પ્રતાપ હોસ્પીટલમાંથી નીકળવાની ના પાડે. પ્રેમથી રોજ સમજાવીએ પણ માને નહીં. મૂળ બીક લાગી ગયેલી. એક દિવસ ફોન પર સખત ધમકાવીને આજે જ રજા લઈ લોનું કહ્યું ને અમારા કાર્યકર મોહનભાઈને ઓક્સિજન સીલીન્ડર સાથે એને ઘેર મોકલવાની વ્યવસ્થા કરવા કહ્યું. 

આખેર એણે ખાટલો છોડ્યો. શ્વાસ ચડે ને ચલાતુ નથી કમજોરી ફરિયાદો ઘરે આવ્યા પછી પણ જો કે એ ફરિયાદો સાચી હતી. એની ઘરવાળીએ સારી ચાકરી કરી. અમારા કાર્યકર કનુભાઈ અને છાયાબહેન સાથે એની જબરી મૈત્રી એ લોકો પણ એને રોજ સમજાવે.

ધીરે ધીરે એ ઠીક થયો પણ પૈસે ટકે ધોવાઈ ગયો.

પહેલાં પ્લાસ્ટીકની ખુરશી તગારાં વેચવાનું એ કરતો. અમે એને લોન આપેલી એમાંથી એ ધંધો વધારતો ગયો.  હોલસેલમાં સામાન લાવીને એ નાના ફેરિયાને આપતો. બચત પણ સારી કરી. મૂળ એને બોલેરો ગાડી લેવી હતી. ગાડી લઈને વધારે ગામડાંઓમાં ધંધા માટે ફરી શકાય વધારે સામના રાખી શકાય એવું સ્વપ્ન હતું પણ કોરોનાએ ગણીત ઊંધુ પાડ્યું. 

ઘરમાં અન્નનો દાણો ન હોય એવી સ્થિતિ આવી. ધર્માદુ મને નો ખપે એવું એ હંમેશાં કહે એની જગ્યાએ ધર્માદા પર નભવાનો વારો આવ્યો. અમારા ક્રિષ્ણકાંત અંકલ ને ઈન્દિરા આંટીએ પણ એને બિમારીમાંથી સાજા થવામાં મદદ કરી.. 

પ્રતાપની તબીયત રાગે પડી. ફરી ધંધો કરવાની ધગશ થઈ પણ ક્યાંથી શરૃ કરવું. લોન લેવાની હિંમત પણ નહોતી થતી. પ્રતાપની હાલત અમે જાણતા હતા. અમે એને YVOની મદદથી 15000નો સામાન લઈ આપ્યો ને ફરી ધંધો કરવા કહ્યું. 

હું ત્રાંબા ગઈ એ વખતે એણે કહ્યું, 'બેન હું લાખનો સામાન ઉતારતો ત્યારે આટલા સામાનથી શું થશે?'થોડી હિંમત ને શૂન્યમાંથી સર્જન કરનાર એની પોતાની જ વાત એને કહી..જો કે એ સમયે એ મૂક જ રહ્યો.

ઘણી વાતો પછી હું નીકળી રહી હતી ત્યારે એ મારી પાસે આવ્યો ને કહ્યું, 'છો મહિનામાં હતો ત્યાં પહોંચી જઈશ આ મારુ વચન બેન... '

સાંભળીને રાજી થવાયું..માણસને હિંમત આપવી એ પણ મોટુ કાર્ય ને મદદની સાથે એની મારા ખ્યાલથી વધુ જરૃર..

There are numerous individuals around us to who do not have material comforts yet they manage to live their life with joy and contentment. It is as if the mantra of their life is to find happiness in little things. It is when we meet people like these that we too find humble reasons to lead a joyous life.

Govindbhai resides in Delwada village in Gandhinagar, his economic condition is pathetic, even the place where his straw-mud house is built does not belong to him. The means of earning are ‘whatever available’ yet life goes on most importantly without any complaints!!

Whilst working with deprived families, we motivate them to work and earn their living with honesty so that they are equipped to resolve their own issues in future. They are empowered enough to resolve the difficulties they face, and do not have to depend on others to address their challenges be it government or society.

VSSM’s Rizwan works with the families of Govindbhai’s settlement, we have been trying to help these families obtain residential plots. Rizwan also talks about the various efforts VSSM does to elevate these families from the cycle of poverty. “I know a little about buffalo trade. If I get small capital, I could buy a buffalo calf, care for her, raise her and sell once she is fully grown. This way I will earn a decent amount.” Govindbhai had shared with Rizwan.

If people like Govindbhai aspire to improve their economic well-being half our goal is achieved. We provided a loan to Govinndbhai. He bought a buffalo calf and raised it for one and a half year, she has matured now and Govindbbhai plans to sell her, from which he will buy 2-3  calves.

Govindbhai has also repaid the VSSM loan and he has the capital to buy more calves. If a person is powered by enthusiasm and zeal he/she can move mountains and this has been proved to be true by Govindbhai, who as mentioned has lived his life with contentment.

Rizwan is an honest and meticulous fellow team member, it is because of him we met Govindbhai. Glad that he has been instrumental in identifying the right kind of people to support.

કેટલા માણસો એવા હોય છે જેમની પાસે ભૌતિક દૃષ્ટિએ બહુ બધુ નથી હોતું છતાં જીવન આનંદથી જીવતા હોય છે. નાની નાની વાતોમાં ખુશ રહેવાનું એ જાણે એમનો જીનવમંત્ર.. 

આવા લોકોને મળીએ ત્યારે આપણનેય આનંદીત જીવન જીવવાના કારણો જડી જાય..

ગાંધીનગરના દેલવાડાગામમાં ગોવિંદભાઈ રહે. આર્થિક સ્થિતિ અત્યંત નબળી. જે જગ્યા પર ગાર માટીનું છાપરુ બાંધ્યું એ જગ્યા પણ પોતાની નહીં. આજીવિકા માટે જે મળે તે કામ કરે ને એમ જીવન હખેડખે પણ સૌથી અગત્યનું કોઈ ફરિયાદ વગર ચાલે ...

અમે વંચિત પરિવારો સાથે કાર્ય કરીએ તે સૌને સારા માર્ગે પૈસા કમાવવા પ્રેરીત કરીએ જેથી ભવિષ્યમાં પોતાની તકલીફોનો નિવેડો એ પોતે જ લાવી શકે. મૂળ વાત આધારિતતા ખતમ કરવાની છે. પછી એ આધારિતતા સરકાર કે સમાજની જ કેમ નહોય...

ગોવિંદભાઈની વસાહતમાં રહેતા વંચિત પરિવારોને રહેવા પોતાની જગ્યા મળે તે માટે અમે કોશીશ કરીએ. અમારા કાર્યકર રીઝવાન આ પરિવારોની વચમાં સતત જાય ત્યારે સંસ્થાની આ ભાવનાની વાત એ સહજ કહે. 

એક દિવસ ગોવિંદભાઈએ કહ્યું, મને ભેંસોના વેપારની સમજણ છે. જો મને નાની મૂડી મળે તો હું ભેંસની પાડી લાવું ને એની ચાકરી કરી એને ઉછેરુ ને એ જ્યારે ભેંસ થાય ત્યારે એને વેચુ તો મને  સારી આવક થાય. 

ગોવિંદભાઈ જેવા માણસો આર્થિક સમૃદ્ધિની એશણા રાખે એ તો અમારુ લક્ષ્ય છે અમે ગોવિંદભાઈને લોન આપી ને એ એક પાડી લાવ્યા. દોઢ વર્ષ પાડીની ચાકરી કરી. હવે એ વિયાવાની છે. ગોવિંદભાઈ હવે એને વેચશે. એમના મતે એની સારી કિંમત નીપજશે.. જેમાંથી એ બે થી ત્રણ પાડી લાવી શકશે..

VSSMમાંથી લીધેલી લોન તો મજૂરી કરીને એમણે પુરી પણ કરી દીધી. પણ વેપારમાં કરવાનું રોકાણ હવે એમની પાસે છે.. સમજણ અને ઘગશ હોય તો માણસ પથ્થર કે પાણીમાંથીયે પૈસા પેદા કરી દે આ કહેવત ગોવિદભાઈના કિસ્સામાં સાચી ઠરી છે. વળી પાછુ ગોવિંદભાઈ ઉપર જણાવ્યું એમ આનંદીત જીવ. 

કાર્યકર રીઝવાન નિષ્ઠાવાન ને સૌથી અગત્યનું ચોક્કસાઈવાળો.. એની આંગળીએ ગોવિંદભાઈ અમારા સુધી આવ્યા. રીઝવાન આવા સરસ માણસોને યોગ્ય મદદ પહોંચાડવામાં નિમિત્ત બન્યો એનો રાજીપો.. 

ને સૌથી અગત્યનું આ કાર્યમાં મદદ કરનાર પ્રિયજનોનો આભાર.. તેમણે સહયોગ ન કર્યો હોત તો આ બધુયે થવું અશક્ય...

The nomadic families who have benefited

Individuals and families who do not have savings to fall back on or cannot manage to save money are required to borrow money to fund their businesses, medical emergencies or social spending. A marginalised family cannot survive without not borrowing. If the businesses do well, timely payment of the loan instalments is easy,  but if things go south, payment of the loan instalments does not happen. The communities we work with would never declare bankruptcy, to them, honour takes precedence before anything else.

VSSM offers interest-free loans to nomadic and de-notified families to start their ventures or restore their tattered livelihoods. Most of the loanees are regular with the payment of instalments. The pandemic has severely impacted their ability to earn a living and pay the instalments. It has shattered them.

“We have had to use our savings, our ability to step out and do business is impacted, we barely manage to earn enough for a daily meal!” most of them revealed... I had shared through one of my Facebook posts that many of these families were prepared to sell their jewellery to pay off the loans.   

Our well-wishing friends from Baroda, Ahmedabad, Nadiad and Surat happen to read it and decided to support these families. The appealed to their friends and families, Shri Bharatbhai coordinated the entire effort and within no time collected Rs. 1,27,656. It was an overwhelming response and we will always remain grateful for the same.

બહુ વજનવાળો શબ્દ....

સ્વતંત્ર રીતે વ્યવસાય કરવા, પરિવારીક પ્રસંગ પૂર્ણ કરવા કે પ્રિયજન બિમારીમાં સપડાયું હોય તેને ફેર બેઠા કરવા જેની પાસે પોતાની બચત નહોય તેમને આ લોનનો સહારો લેવો પડે..

લોન લીધા પછી વ્યવસાય સરખા ચાલે તો લોનના હપ્તા સમયસર ભરાય પણ એમાં કાંઈ તકલીફ આવે તો પછી હાલત ખરાબ..પાછુ નાદારી નોંધાવાનું અમે જેમની સાથે કામ કરીએ છીએ તે બધા તો ક્યારેય ના કરે.. ઈજ્જત હું રે બેન એવું એ દુઃખી ૃહૃદયે બોલે..

સંસ્થાગત રીતે અમે ઘણા પરિવારોને વગર વ્યાજે લોન એમને સ્વતંત્ર વ્યવસાય કરવા કે અન્ય વિવિધ કારણો સર આપીએ.. મોટાભાગના લોકો લોનના નિયમીત હપ્તા ભરે... પણ કોરાનાની મહામારીએ આ બધાની કમર તોડી નાખી..

પોતાની પાસેની બચતો ખતમ થઈ ગઈ. જે વ્યવસાય થકી એ નભતા એમાં પણ કસ ન રહ્યો. માંડ પેટ જોગું નીકળે એવું ઘણા કહે, આવા આ પરિવારોમાંથી કેટલાકે દાગીના વેચીને સંસ્થામાંથી લીધેલી લોન પૂર્ણ કરવા કહ્યું ને એ વાત ફેસબુક પર અહીંયા લખી...

વડોદરા, અમદાવાદ, નડિયાદ અને સુરતના મિત્રોએ આ વાંચ્યું અને પછી તકલીફમાં આવી પડેલા પ્રિયજનોને મદદ કરવાનું એમણે નક્કી કર્યું..પોતાની રીતે જ મિત્રોએ અપીલ કરી સંકલન પ્રિય ભરતભાઈએ કર્યું ને જોત જોતામાં 1,27,656 ભેગા થઈ ગયા.. મદદ કરનાર સૌ પ્રિયજનોનો આભાર..

As a child Rita had always seen her parents sculpt Ganesha idols hence, celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi is a must for her. It is a festival ingrained in her being. Every time she would account for losses after the festival we would advise her to not get into the business of making Ganesha idols during the next season, she too would pay heed to our recommendation. However, the moment the community would start preparing for the festive season her heart would give in!! “We are Bawri, making idols of the deity is our ancestral occupation, it is difficult for me to give up!” Rita would confess. 

 

“We know the environmental implications of POP idols but it is hard to make Ganesha idols with clay. Also, if we are unable to sell these idols it is hard to store them in our small homes. Hence, Plaster of Paris (POP) works better for us. Nonetheless, this year we decided to make only clay idols, this entire lot here is clay Ganesha. They turn out to be expensive, the returns are not much yet people haggle, with the profits are less. Tell me one thing Ben, do you all bargain when you all go and shop in those glitzy malls?? So why haggle with us? If you stop bargaining, we will not mark up their prices, we earn our bread from it, we too have to sell them, all we need is fair returns for all the hard work we pour in!”

 “This year the corona has inflicted a blow on our businesses. We could not invest in the idol-making this year. But you (VSSM) supported so I am sure it will be fruitful. We are reeling through difficult times Lord Ganesha will bring better days!!”

 We are grateful for the support our well-wishers provide, to allow us to be instrumental in enabling such families to earn a dignified living. The families we mention here are the Bawri community residing in Ahmedabad’s Ramdevnangar settlement and Ritaben is one of the many women entrepreneurs VSSM supports. 

નામ રીટા,

નાનપણથી મા-બાપને મૂર્તી બનાવતા જોયેલા. તે ગણેશચતુર્થી તો કરવી જ પડે એવું બરાબર ઠસ્સી ગયેલું. નુકશાન થાય ત્યારે કહીએ કે આવતી ફેરા ચતુર્થી નથી કરવી. પણ ચતુર્થી આવવાના ચાર મહિના પહેલાં તો મન પાછુ પાતળુ થઈ જ જાય. અમે રહ્યા બાવરી મૂર્તી બનાવવાનું કામ તો બાપ દાદાનું એટલે એમ કાંઈ છુટે?

પ્રદુષણની વાત સમજીએ પણ માટીમાંથી ગણેશ બનાવવા સહેલા નથી અને પાછુ વેચાય નહીં તો અમારા નાના છાપરાંમાં એને સાચવવા બહુ અઘરાં. એટલે પ્લાસ્ટર ઓફ પેરીસનો ઉપયોગ કરતા.

પણ આ ફેરા અમે નક્કી કર્યું માટીમાં કામ કરવાનું તે લ્યો માટીમાંથી ગણેશ બનાવ્યા. માટીમાંથી બનાવેલા ગણેશ મોંધા થાય. લોકો ભાવતાલેય ખુબ કરે. ઘણી વખત મળતરેય બહુ ના મળે..

તે હે બેન, તમે બધા પેલા મોલમાં જઈને ખરીદી કરો ત્યાં તમે પાંચ ઓછા લ્યો એમ કો છો? તો અમારી પાસેથી પાંચ ઓછા કેમ? ભાવતાલ ના કરે તો અમારેય ક્યાં વધુ કિંમત કહીને વેચવા છે? બસ મહેનતનું મળી જાય તો ઘણું.

કોરાનાના લીધે આ ફેરા ચતુર્થી કરવી શક્ય નહોતી પણ દર વખતની જેમ તમે (VSSM) મદદ કરી તે ચતુર્થી ફળશે એ આશાયે કામ કરીએ છીએ.બધે તકલીફ છે જાણીએ છીએ પણ વિધનહર્તા બધુ ઠીક કરશે..

Jagabhai, a resident of Ahmedabad’s Ramdevnagar was an alcoholic once. Last year the women of Ramdevnagar raised their voice against the prevalence of alcohol and drugs in their settlement and campaigned for the strict enforcement of prohibition law in Ramdevnagar. Jagabhai too joined the campaign, but he was sure that giving up alcohol was an impossible proposition. 

The VSSM team persuaded him to remain determined and give up his addiction. Madhuben, our extremely zealous team member closely works with the community of Ramdevnagar, she also convinces the youth to give up their addictions, arranges for their treatment and ensures they do not fall off the wagon. Jagabhai was enrolled with a deaddiction program and to our great surprise has been addiction free.

After he sobered down,  he needed work. Madhuben ensured he gets a hand cart under government’s Manav Garima Yojna. The hand card enthused him to work, Jagabhai began selling onions-potatoes. The business helped instilled within him,  hope and confidence to dream.

We pray to almighty to grant Jagabhai good health and wisdom.

The objective for sharing this story was to share the incredible results a determined human being can achieve. He was not sure about ability yet he convinced himself to try and bid adieu to his habit of consuming alcohol. It was his strong will power that has seen him through.

જગાભાઈ...

અમદાવાદના રામદેવનગરમાં રહે. એક વખતના દારૂના વ્યસની.

દારૂ અને ગાંજાથી આ વસાહતને મુક્ત કરવાની ઝુંબેશ આ વસાહતની ભવાની બહેનોએ ઉપાડી. જગાભાઈ એમાં જોડાયા પણ મનની ભીતર દારૂનું વ્યસન પોતાથી નહીં છૂટે એવી પાકી ખાતરી...

એક રીતે કહું તો પોતાના કરતાં દારૂ પર વધારે ભરોસો.

અમે કહ્યું તમારું મન મક્કમ હશે તો તમે ચોક્કસ દારૂ માંથી છૂટી શકશો...

અમારા બહુ ઉત્સાહી કાર્યકર મધુબેન આ વસાહતના લોકો સાથે કામ કરે. વ્યસનમાંથી મુક્ત થવા ઈચ્છતા વ્યક્તિઓની અમે ટ્રીટમેન્ટ કરાવી રહ્યા હતા. જગાભાઈની પણ ટ્રીટમેન્ટ થઈ અને ખરેખર દારૂ છૂટ્યો.

હવે નવરા કેમ બેસાય? કામ તો કરવું રહ્યું..

સરકારની માનવ ગરીમા યોજના અંતર્ગત જગાભાઈ ને હાથલારી અપાવવાનું vssmના કાર્યકર મધુબેન કર્યું..

હાથલારી હાથમાં આવી એટલે કામ કરવાની ધગશ આવી. ડુંગળી બટેટાનો વેપાર શરૂ કર્યો.

સ્વપ્નો જોવાનું શરૂ થયું...

ઈશ્વર જગાભાઈ ને સારું સ્વાસ્થ્ય અને સમૃદ્ધિ બક્ષે એવી પ્રાર્થના...

પણ જગાભાઈની વાત લખવા પાછળનું તાત્પર્ય દારૂ છોડવા માટેનો મનના ખૂણે એમણે કરેલો સંકલ્પ. ભરોસો નહોતો છતાં હું પ્રયત્ન કરીશ એ વાત જેના લીધે આજે જગાભાઈ દારૂના વ્યસનથી મુક્ત થયા
