Mukeshbhai from Aliyavada in Jamnagar proved the saying “God helps those who help themselves” true.

Mukeshbhai used to work as a scrap collector. He wanted to collect more scrap, but he did not have the capital. Through the joint initiative of VSSM and KRSF, he received a loan of ₹20,000. This small amount became a great support for his self-confidence.

It was like the famous lines of poet Narmad:

“Once you take a step forward, do not step back;

Once you take the leap, do not be afraid.”

Stability came into his scrap business. He earned, saved some money, and then developed the desire to start a dry spices business. He took another loan from us and traveled from village to village in a rented rickshaw, worked tirelessly, expanded his business, and saved more money.

To save on rental expenses, he dreamed of owning his own vehicle. Once again, he took a loan, added his life’s savings, and Mukeshbhai became the owner of his own vehicle.

Mukeshbhai repaid all the loans on time and with complete honesty. When a person’s intentions are pure, nature also supports them. With that support, he moved ahead.

We had not imagined such progress in Mukeshbhai’s life. When we went to Aliyavada to see how far the human rights work for all these families had reached, after the meeting Mukeshbhai said, “Sister, I want to show you something,” and he showed us his vehicle, saying that he had reached this point because of the support of the organization.

Seeing and hearing all this made us very happy. We wish Mukeshbhai great success and continued progress.

જ્યારે મહેનત અને પ્રમાણિકતા ભેગા થાય ત્યારે સફળતા મળે

"હિંમતે મર્દા તો મદદે ખુદા" આ કહેવતને જામનગરના અલિયાવાડાના મુકેશભાઈએ સાર્થક કરી બતાવી.

મુકેશભાઈ ભંગાર ભેગો કરવાનું કામ કરતા. ઈચ્છા વધુ ભંગાર ભેગો કરવાની હતી પણ પાસે મૂડી નહોતી. VSSM અને KRSF ની સંયુક્ત પહેલ દ્વારા તેમને ₹20,000 ની લોન મળી. આ નાનકડી રકમ તેમના આત્મવિશ્વાસ માટે મોટું ટેકણ સાબિત થઈ.

કવિ નર્મદની પેલી પંક્તિઓ જેવું થયું, "ડગલું ભર્યું કે ના હટવું, ના હટવું; ઝંપલાવ્યું તો હવે ના ડરવું, ના ડરવું.

ભંગારના ધંધામાં સ્થિરતા આવી. કમાયા, બચત પણ થઈ હવે સૂકા મસાલાનો વેપાર કરવાની ભાવના થઈ. અમારી પાસેથી બીજી લોન લીધી ને ભાડાની રિક્ષામાં ગામડે-ગામડે ભમ્યા, પરસેવો પાડ્યો, વેપાર વધ્યો ને બચત પણ કરી.

ભાડાના ખર્ચને બચાવવા પોતાનું વાહન લેવાનું સ્વપ્ન જોયું. ફરી લોન લીધી, પોતાની જિંદગીની મૂડી એટલે કે બચત ઉમેરી અને મુકેશભાઈ પોતાની ગાડીના માલિક બન્યા.

મુકેશભાઈએ લીધેલી લોન સમયસર અને પ્રમાણિકપણે ભરપાઈ કરી. જ્યારે માણસની દાનત સાફ હોય, ત્યારે કુદરત પણ સાથ આપે. એ સાથના પ્રતાપે એ આગળ આવ્યા.

મુકેશભાઈના જીવનમાં આ પ્રગતિ થઈ એનો અંદાજ અમને નહોતા. અમે અલિયાવાડામાં આ બધા પરિવારોના માનવ અધિકારના કામો ક્યાં પહોંચ્યા એ જોવા ગયા ત્યાં બેઠક પત્યા પછી મુકેશભાઈએ કહ્યું, "બેન તમને કશું બતાવવું છે" ને એમણે પોતાનું વાહન બતાવી સંસ્થાના પ્રતાપે અહીં પહોંચ્યાનું કહ્યું.

Mittal Patel meets nomadic families of Vadodara

Sanjaybhai Nat from Vadodara is a hardworking and talented artist. The dhol and shehnai are traditional instruments linked to his ancestral profession — they are what give him his identity as a Nat. Although he possessed the skill, he didn’t have enough money to buy his own instruments. Because of this, instead of performing independently, he would join a relative’s team in Surendranagar.

One day, he learned that KRSF and VSSM provide loans to people who want to start their own small businesses. He contacted our Vadodara volunteer, Sunil, and took his first loan, with which he bought 20 dhols. Later, with a second loan, he purchased shehnais and proper uniforms for his team.

Today, Sanjaybhai has his own independent team. He receives orders and performs programs across Vadodara district and many other regions.

He says,“The organization breathed life into my career. I can never forget this support. Otherwise, who gives loans based on trust alone!”

Through the initiative of KRSF and VSSM, more than 12,000 families today run their own independent livelihoods and have become self-reliant.

We feel immense joy in becoming instruments of change in the lives of many like Sanjaybhai.

વડોદરાના સંજયભાઈ નટ, મહેનતકશ અને પ્રતિભાશાળી કલાકાર. ઢોલ અને શરણાઈ એમના પરંપરાગત ધંધા સાથે જોડાયેલા સાધન, જે એમને નટ તરીકેની ઓળખ આપે. સંજયભાઈ પાસે આ કળા તો હતી, પણ સાધન ખરીદવા માટે પૈસા નહોતાં. તેથી સ્વતંત્ર રીતે વગાડવા જવાની જગ્યાએ, તેઓ સુરેન્દ્રનગરમાં રહેતા સગાની ટીમમાં વગાડવા જતા.

એક દિવસ તેમને ખબર પડી કે KRSF અને VSSM એવા લોકોને લોન આપે છે, જે પોતાનો સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો શરૂ કરવા માંગે છે. એમણે વડોદરાના અમારા કાર્યકર સુનીલનો સંપર્ક કર્યો અને પ્રથમ લોન લીધી જેમાંથી એમણે 20 ઢોલ ખરીદ્યા. એ પછી બીજી લોનથી શરણાઈ અને પોતાની ટીમ માટે સરસ યુનિફોર્મ લીધાં.

આજે સંજયભાઈ પાસે પોતાની ટીમ છે. તેઓ વડોદરા જિલ્લા સહિત અનેક વિસ્તારોમાં સ્વતંત્ર રીતે ઓર્ડર લઈને પ્રોગ્રામ કરવા જાય છે. એમણે કહે, "સંસ્થાએ મારા જીવનમાં પ્રાણ ફૂંક્યા. એનું ઋણ હું ક્યારેય ન ભૂલુ. બાકી અમારા પર ભરોસો કરીને લોન આપવાનું કોણ કરે!" 

KRSF અને VSSM ની પહેલથી 12,000 થી વધુ પરિવારો આજે પોતાનો સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો કરી સ્વાવલંબી બન્યા છે. સંજયભાઈ જેવા અનેકોના જીવનમાં નિમિત્ત બન્યાનો અમને આનંદ..

When difficulties arise in life, a person is often forced to seek help from others. But life changes only when someone holds your hand and guides you in the right direction.

We were fortunate to meet not just one, but two Ajaybhais — and we became an instrument in bringing happiness into their lives.

Both of them had little formal education and survived on daily wage labor. It was hard to fulfill basic household needs, and during emergencies, they were often forced to borrow money, sinking under the burden of debt.

They learned that KRSF and VSSM provide loans to help start small businesses. With the help of our volunteer Sunilbhai, they applied for the loan. Both Ajaybhais had learned to repair gas stoves and mixers. With the loan, they started their own small repair work.

Slowly, their hard work began to pay off. Today, they easily earn ₹500–₹700 per day.

Ajaybhai proudly says: “If the organization hadn’t supported us, life would have been very difficult. Whenever we borrowed money from outside lenders, we had to pay back such heavy interest that it would break our back. If we took ₹30,000, we had to return ₹50,000 with interest. Now we’ve completely stopped taking such loans. Sunilbhai even taught us how to save.”

Every month, Ajaybhai donates ₹100 to the organization. He says:“Right now, I give ₹100 a month, but my wish is to give ₹200 every month — permanently.”

They do not earn a lot, yet the spirit of giving back from whatever little they have is truly admirable. May God fulfill all their wishes.

Through the self-reliance program of KRSF and VSSM, thousands of people like Ajaybhai have transformed their lives.

Our prayer is that God continues to make us instruments in such noble work.

વડોદરાના સાવલી અને નમીસરાના અજયભાઈની કહાની

જીવનમાં મુશ્કેલી આવે ત્યારે માણસે બીજા પાસે હાથ ફેલાવવો પડે, આવામાં સાચી દિશા બતાવી શકે તેવા કોઈ હાથ પકડી લે તો જિંદગી બદલાઈ જાય. 

અમને એક નહીં પણ બે અજય ભાઈ મળ્યા. જેમના જીવનમાં સુખ લાવવામાં અમે નિમિત્ત બન્યા. 

આ બેઉ ભણ્યા ઓછુ, છુટક મજૂરી પર નભે. ઘરની જરૂરિયાત પૂરી થવી મુશ્કેલ. ક્યારેક જરૃરિયાતના સમયે કરજ કરવું પડે ને એના ભાર નીચે જાણે દબાઈ જાય.

એમને ખબર પડી કે  KRSF અને VSSM તરફથી વ્યવસાય કરવા લોન મળે છે. એટલે અમારા કાર્યકર સુનિલભાઈની મદદથી એમણે લોન માટે અરજી કરી. બેઉ અજયભાઈએ ગેસ અને મીક્ચર રીપેરીંગનું કામ શીખ્યું હતું, અમારી લોનથી એ કામ શરૃ કર્યું. ધીમે ધીમે મહેનત રંગ લાવતી ગઈ.  આજે એ દિવસના ₹500 - ₹700 આરામથી કમાઈ લે છે. 

અજયભાઈ ખૂબ ગૌરવથી કહે છે, "જો સંસ્થાએ હાથ ન પકડ્યો હોત તો જીવતર અઘરુ હતું. બહારથી ક્યારેક વ્યાજવા પૈસા લઈએ તો એનું કમરતૂટી જાય એવું વ્યાજ આપવું પડતું. જેમ કે 30,000 રૂપિયા લઈએ તો વ્યાજ સાથે 50,000 પાછા ભરવા પડે. હવે અમે બહારથી વ્યાજના પૈસા લેવાનું સદંતર બંધ કર્યું. સુનિલભાઈએ બચત કરવાનું પણ શીખવ્યું."

સંસ્થાને દર મહિને ₹100 અનુદાન આપતા અજયભાઈ કહે છે, "હાલ હું દર મહિને ₹100 આપું છું પણ મારી ઇચ્છા દર મહિને ૨૦૦ એ પણ કાયમ આપવાની છે."

અજયભાઈ ઝાઝું કમાતા નથી પણ એમને જે મળે એમાંથી અન્યોના સુખ માટે આપવાની એમની ભાવના ઉત્તમ. ઈશ્વર એમની મનોકામના પૂર્ણ કરે એવી પ્રાર્થના.

KRSF અને VSSMના સ્વાવલંબન કાર્યક્રમ થકી અજયભાઈ જેવા હજારો લોકોની જિંદગી બદલાઈ છે.

ઈશ્વર હંમેશા અમને આવા સદકાર્યમાં નિમિત્ત બનાવે – એ જ પ્રાર્થના.

"I stand on my own two feet; I earn enough to support a respectable family life, and I do not have to endure feelings of helplessness." What immense pride a person must feel making such a statement! Additionally, how satisfying it is to empower someone to feel that pride!

Our friend Kesnathbhai lives in Tharad town, located in Banaskantha. The Nathwaadi community is traditionally known for snake charming, where they handle and perform with snakes. However, as this business has declined, some members of the community have resorted to begging to support themselves. Fortunately, VSSM provided support for Kesnathbhai many years ago. VSSM helped the family obtain Aadhaar cards (identity cards) for those living in Shivnagar, Tharad. Additionally, VSSM assisted in acquiring a plot of land, where a house was built for the family.

Kesnathbhai started several types of businesses, beginning with coal-making after taking a loan from our organization. He is very loyal, and his sincere faith in the organization is unwavering. These qualities have enabled him to progress remarkably well. Today, he owns four plots of land, several cars, and a house in Tharad. However, he has not forgotten his gratitude to the organization. He often expresses it with a simple statement: "When I had nothing, the organization held my hand, and because of that support, I have come this far today."

We did not anticipate such significant progress. We organized a discussion with individuals who received loans from the organization to help them become self-sufficient. We talked about what could be done under the self-help program and what additional support could be provided in the future. During this meeting, many participants, including Kesnathbhai, shared their success stories and how they benefited from the loans provided by the institute. We ourselves were truly amazed by the impact of our mission.

The K.R. Shroff Foundation and the "VIMUKT" Foundation have partnered with the VSSM self-help program. Through the collaborative efforts of these three organizations, over 11,000 families have received loans to start their own businesses, and the majority of them have reported high levels of satisfaction.

During the meeting, we honored several individuals: those who took out loans from the organization and went on to have very successful careers, those who faced significant family challenges yet consistently made their loan payments, and those who, as community leaders, helped others achieve economic stability.

There was a suggestion to create a women's congregation. It was discussed that a significant amount of work is needed to support women in establishing their own independent businesses. 

It is commendable that all loan holders contribute to us with monthly donations. Their charitable contributions to the institute are just as important and great as those made by donors of substantial amounts. 

During the program, everyone talked about the idea of forming their own banks, which would allow them to secure small or large loans as needed.

The self-help program is currently being implemented by the respected Shri Pratulbhai Shroff and several well-wishers associated with the organization. It brings us great joy to provide livelihoods to many individuals through this initiative. 

We hope that God continues to make us instruments for the maximum good of the greatest number of people.

હું મારા પગ પર ઉભો છું, હું મારા પરિવારને માનભેર જીવાડી શકુ એટલું કમાવુ છું, મારે કોઈની ઓશિયાળી વેઠવાની થતી નથી.. આવા વિધાન બોલતા માણસને કેવો ગર્વ થાય. વળી આવો ગર્વ અપાવવાનું કામ કરવું એ તો કેટલું મજાનું.

અમારા કેશનાથભાઈ બનાસકાંઠાના થરાદમાં રહે. નાથવાદી સમુદાયનો પરંપરાગત ધંધો સાપના ખેલ બતાવવાનો. પણ એ પડી ભાંગ્યો પછી સમુદાયમાંથી કેટલાક ભીક્ષા માંગી પેટિયું રળવા માંડ્યા. પણ કેશનાથભાઈના ટેકામાં VSSM વર્ષો પહેલા આવ્યું. થરાદના શિવનગરમાં રહેતા પરિવારના ઓળખના આધારો, રહેવા પ્લોટ ને પછી તો ઘર પણ બન્યા. 

કેશનાથભાઈ અમારી પાસેથી લોન લઈને કોલસા પાડવાથી લઈને અનેક પ્રકારના વ્યવસાય શરૃ કર્યા. નિષ્ઠાવાન અને સંસ્થા માટે એમની શ્રદ્ધા ગજબ એટલે પ્રગતિ પણ ખુબ સારી થઈ. આજે એમની પાસે થરાદમાં રહેણાંક અર્થે ચાર પ્લોટ, ગાડી, ઘર બધુ જ છે. પણ એ સંસ્થાનું ઋણ નથી ભૂલ્યા. એ એક જ વાક્યમાં પોતાની વાત કરે, જ્યારે મારી પાસે કશું નહોતું ત્યારે સંસ્થાએ મારો હાથ પકડ્યો ને આજે હું આટલે પહોંચી શક્યો.

એમની આટલી પ્રગતિનો અંદાજ નહોતો પણ અમે થરાદમાં સંસ્થાએ જેમને બે પાંદડે થવા લોન આપી છે એ લોકોની એક બેઠક ભવિષ્યમાં સ્વાવલંબન કાર્યક્રમ અંતર્ગત શું કરી શકાય અને ક્યા પ્રકારની વધારે મદદની જરૃર છે એ અંગે વાત કરવા એક ચર્ચા સભાનું આયોજન કર્યું. આ સભામાં કેશનાથભાઈ જેવા અનેક વ્યક્તિઓએ સંસ્થામાંથી મળેલી લોનથી કેવી પ્રગતિ કરી એની વાત કરી ત્યારે આ કાર્ય માટે અમને પોતાને હરખ થયો. 

VSSM ના સ્વાવલંબન કાર્યક્રમમાં આજે ડો. કે.આર.ફાઉન્ડેશન અને વિમુક્ત ફાઉન્ડેશન પણ જોડાયું છે. ત્રણે સંસ્થાના પ્રયાસથી 11,000થી વધારે પરિવારોને સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો કરવા લોન મળી છે ને એમાંના ઘણા ખરા ખુબ સુખી થયા છે. 

સંસ્થાએ જે પરિવારોને લોન આપી તેમાંથી લોન લઈને જે વ્યક્તિઓએ ખુબ સારી તરક્કી કરી હોય, 

 જેમને લોન લીધી પણ પછી ઘરમાં ભયંકર તકલીફ આવી હોય છતાં લોનના હપ્તા નિયમીત ભર્યા હોય, જેઓ આગેવાનની ભૂમિકામાં હોય ને પોતાની સાથે સાથે અન્ય વ્યક્તિઓને પણ બે પાંદડે થવા મદદ કરી હોય તે સૌનું સન્માન પણ કાર્યક્રમમાં થયું.

આદરણીય પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફ અને સંસ્થા સાથે સંકળાયેલા અનેક સ્વજનો મારફત આ સ્વાવલંબન કાર્યક્રમ ચાલી રહ્યો છે. આ કાર્યક્રમ અંતર્ગત અનેકોને રોજી આપી શક્યાનો આનંદ પણ છે..

for her family

The term "women's empowerment" has become quite common nowadays. But the question arises: What does empowerment really mean? Is it empowerment for a woman to step out of the house and work? Or is it empowerment to walk shoulder to shoulder with men?

Like me, many people don't consider these things as true empowerment. True empowerment is when a woman can make her own decisions in her own way.

I recently met Puja, who is an example of true empowerment. She is not very old, maybe not even 25. She got married to a man from the village of Bidaj and moved there. Her husband worked as a farm laborer and managed the household. After marriage, Puja also worked as a laborer. But then, she had a daughter, and she couldn’t bear to leave her.

Puja knew how to do stitching. Her mother had taught her, but she didn't have a sewing machine. Her husband could barely bring home enough to meet the basic needs, so where would they get a sewing machine?

We work to ensure that families living in this settlement receive their rights as citizens. We helped them obtain ration cards and caste-income certificates. We also provided some loans.

Our dear friend, Indra Modi, along with Dimpleben, visited us to see our work. At that time, our worker Rajnibhai suggested that we could help Puja by providing her with a sewing machine, which would benefit her greatly.

Indrabhai listened to this and said he would help her get a sewing machine. He then provided Puja with a machine.

After about three months, Puja had to go back to Bidaj, and I met her again. She was happy. She was earning 300 to 500 rupees a day from her stitching work. She said, "Now I don’t have to ask my family for money to run the household. I save too. Whenever I need to go somewhere or buy something, I have money in my hands, and I don’t have to argue. I can make my own decisions."

What a powerful statement Puja made. We are so happy to have been a part of her journey.

સ્ત્રી સશક્તિકરણ આ શબ્દનો ઉપયોગ હવે ઘણો થવા માંડ્યો છે. 

ત્યારે સવાલ થાય સશક્તિકરણ એટલે શું?

શું ઘરની બહાર નીકળી નોકરી કરવી એ સશક્તિકરણ? પુરુષોની સાથે ખભે થી ખભે મેળવી ચાલવું એ સશક્તિકરણ?

મારી જેમ અનેક લોકો આને સશક્તિકરણ નથી માનતા પણ દરેક સ્ત્રી પોતાની રીતે પોતાના દરેક નિર્ણય લઈ શકે તે સાચુ સશક્તિકરણ.. 

પોતાના નિર્ણય લેનાર પુજાને હમણાં મળવાનું થયું. એની ઉંમર બહુ મોટી નહીં. કદાચ પચીસી પણ નથી વટાવી એણે. આમ એ ડીસાની ને લગ્ન કરી એ ખેડાના બીડજ માં આવી. પતિ ખેત મજૂરી કરે ને એના પર ઘર ચાલે. પૂજા પણ લગ્ન પછી મજૂરીએ જતી. પણ પછી દિકરી આવી. ઝીણકીને મૂકીને જવા મન ન માને...

એને સિલાઈ કામ આવડે. પૂજાની મમ્મીએ એ શીખવાડેલું. પણ મશીન એની પાસે નહીં. પતિ તો માંડ બે ટંક ચાલે એટલું રળી લાવે ત્યાં મશીન ક્યાંથી લાવે.

આ વસાહતમાં રહેતા પરિવારોને નાગરિક તરીકે અધિકારો મળે તે માટે અમે કામ કરીએ. રેશનકાર્ડ ને જાતિ - આવકના દાખલા અમે કઢાવ્યા. કેટલાકને લોન પણ આપી. 

અમારા આ કાર્યને જોવા અમારા પ્રિયજન ઈન્દ્ર મોદી અમારા ડિમ્પલબેન સાથે ગયા. ને એ વખતે અમારા કાર્યકર રજનીભાઈએ પૂજાને મશીન લાવવામાં મદદ કરીએ તો એને ઘણો ફાયદો થાયની વાત કરી. 

આ વાત ઈન્દ્રભાઈએ સાંભળી ને એમણે મશીન લઈ આપવામાં મદદ કરવા કહ્યું. એ પછી પૂજાને મશીન લાવી આપ્યું. 

મશીન આપ્યાના ત્રણેક મહિના પછી પાછા બીડજ જવાનું થયું ને પૂજાને પાછા મળ્યા. એ રાજી રાજી. રોજનું 300 થી  500નું કામ એ કરી લે છે. એ કહે, 'ઘર ચલાવવ હવે મારા ઘરવાળા પાસે પૈસા માંગવા નથી પડતા. બચત પણ કરુ છું. ક્યાંક જવું હોય કશું લેવું હોય તો હાથમાં પૈસા હોય તો પછી બીજી માથાકૂટ નહીં. હું મારા નિર્ણયો જાતે લઈ શકુ છું.'

કેવી મોટી વાત પૂજાએ કરી. અમે પૂજાના રાજીપામાં નિમિત્ત બન્યા એની ખુશી..

 Rajubhai used to sell flowers and flower garlands on retail basis in Jetpurgaam, Mahisagar.

There was no much demand of flowers in the village, so he used to go to Lunawada market with a rented cart carrying flowers.

He used to earn just enough to live from day to day. He knew that if he could get a work order to decorate wedding mandap and cars, the income will be good. But how would he get such big orders while working from just a cart?

We work to change the lives of acrobat families living in Jetpur. Our associate Vinodbhai regularly goes to Jetpur. Many families living in the village took loans from us and made good money.

Rajubhai also asked for a loan and we lent him a loan of Rs. 30,000. With this money, he rented a shop and bought more quantity of flowers. Resultantly, he started getting bigger orders to deliver flowers to weddings.

After that he took another loan of 50,000. That helped him generate more income. He bought Ecko car. If and when he gets an order in surrounding villages of Lunawada, he goes to fullfill orders there too. The car helped him to increase scope of his work.

Rajubhai's wife also helps him making flower garlands sitting home. Rajubhai dreams big. Because he is diligent, we are sure his dreams surely will materialize. 

Respected Pratulbhai Shroff and his Dr. K. R. Foundation are also now involved in self-reliance activities with VSSM. We are sure  that thousands of families will be helped by this association...

ફુલોના હાર ને છુટક ફુલ વેચવાનું કામ કરતા રાજુભાઈ મહિસાગરના જેતપુરગામના.

ગામમાં તો ફુલોનો એવો કોઈ વેપાર થાય નહીં એટલે લુણવાડાની બજારમાં ભાડાની લારી લઈને એ ફુલો લઈને ઊભા રહે.

રોજ જીવાય એટલું કમાય. લગ્ન મંડપ અને ગાડીઓ શણગારવાનું કામ મળે તો આવક સારી થાય એવું એ જાણે પણ લારી પર કામ કરનારને આવા ઓર્ડર ક્યાંથી મળે?

જેતપુરમાં રહેતા બજાણિયા પરિવારોની જિંદગી બદલાય એ માટે અમે કામ કરીએ. અમારા કાર્યકર વિનોદભાઈ નિયમીત જેતપુર જાય. ગામમાં રહેતા ઘણા પરિવારોએ અમારી પાસે લોન લીધી ને બે પાંદડે થયા.

રાજુભાઈએ પણ લોન માંગી અમે 30,000 લોન પેટે આપ્યા. એમાંથી એમણે એક દુકાન ભાડે લીધી ને વધારે ફુલો લાવ્યા. એમને લગ્નમાં ફુલો પહોંચાડવાના ઓર્ડર મળવા લાગ્યા.

એ પછી એમણે બીજી 50,000ની લોન લીધી. આવક પણ વધવા માંડી. ઈકો ગાડી લીધી ને હવે લુણાવાડા આસપાસના ગામોમાં ઓર્ડર મળે તો ત્યાં જઈને એ કામ કરવા માંડ્યા. ગાડી આવવાથી એમના કામનો વ્યાપ વધ્યો..

રાજુભાઈના પત્ની પણ ઘેર બેઠા ફુલોના હાર બનાવવામાં મદદ કરે.. રાજુભાઈના સપના મોટા. પણ એ મહેનતુ છે એટલે એ સાકાર પણ થશે..

I used to lift & arrange gunny bags in the godown. For each bag that I lifted & arranged, I used to get one rupee.

In my youth I could do this type of work. .Now I get tired though I am not very old. My body is now tired since I have been working from a very young age. I was staying in a temporary shed in Sector 13 of Gandhinagar. However all sheds were demolished. Everything was haywire. With my earnings of Rs200-Rs 250 per day it was not possible to have my own house.

Vershibhai narrated this sad story of his life  Sanjaybhai staying in Gandhinagar helps VSSM in its  various activities. He asked Vershibhai to become a vegetable vendor. Vershibhai thought about it and decided to rent a small farm at Uvarsad to plant vegetables. But he did not have the capital to pay a deposit for the farm land. VSSM decided to help him by giving a soft loan. After that his life was on track.

On the rented land that he got, he built a temporary house  Though the land was not his, he at least got a house to stay for which Vershibhai was happy. From the loan given by VSSM he increased the crop production. His income grew and so did his savings. We wish & pray that Velshibhai attains success & becomes independent in his life. We are thankful to all our wellwishers. It is with their help that we are able to help almost 7000 families with loans. it is our desire to help more such families.

ગોદામમાં કોથળા ઉપાડી ગોઠવવાનું કમ હું કરતો. 1 કોથળો ખબા ઉપર ઉપાડી થપ્પીમાં ગોઠવું તેનો 1 રૂપિયો મળતો. જુવાનીમાં આ બધુ કામ મારાથી થતું. પણ હવે થાક લાગે. ઉંમર કાઈ બહુ મોટી નથી પણ નાનપણથી ધંધે લાગ્યો એટલે શરીર થાક્યું. ગાંધીનગર માં સેક્ટર -13 માં છાપરા આવેલા ત્યાં રહેતો.પણ અમારા છાપરા બે વર્ષ પેહેલા તૂટયાં. બધુ વેર વિખેર થઈ ગયું. કોથળા ઉપાડીને રોજના 200 થી 250 કમાતો. આવામાં પોતાનું ઘર તો ક્યાંથી થાય?

વેરશીભાઈએ ભારે વેદના સાથે પોતાની વેદના વર્ઠાવી. ગાંધીનગર માં રહેતા સંજયભાઈ VSSM દ્વારા થઈ રહેલા સમાજકર્યો માં મદદ કરે તેમને વેરશીભાઈ ને શાકભાજી નો ધંધો કરવા સમજાવ્યા. વેરશીભાઈએ પણ ગાંધીનગર પાસે આવેલા ઉવારસદમાં ભાગવી ખેતી રાખવાનું નક્કી કર્યું. જ્યાં એ શાકભાજી વાવી શકે. પણ ભાગવી જમીન રાખવા તેમની પાસે મૂડી નહી અમે એમને નાનકડી લોન આપી ને વેરશીભાઈ ની જિંદગી પાટે ચડી.

ઘર તૂટ્યું હતું તે ભાગવી જમીન મળતા ત્યાં છાપરું કરીને રહેવા મળ્યું આમ ભલે પારકી પણ છત થઈ તેનો વેરશીભાઈને આનંદ બાકી VSSMમાંથી આપેલી લોનમાંથી એમણે સારો વેપાર વધાર્યો આવક ની સાથે સાથે બચત પણ કરે છે ખૂબ એમને પાક્કું પોતાનું ઘર કરે એ માટે વેરશીભાઈ તેમના કાર્ય મા સફળ થાય તેમ ઈછીએ છીએ સ્વાવલંબન આમરા કાર્યમાં મદદ કરનાર સૌ સ્વજનોના અમે આભરી છીએ અત્યાર સુધી 7000થી વધુ પરીવારોને લોન આપી પગભર કર્યા છે વધુ લોકોને પગભર કરવાની નેમ

How can one do a business in Sarees for a mere Rs 10,000/- ? Isn't it surprising to know this? Even I was surprised. How many sarees & of what quality can be bought/sold in this amount. We had lots of questions. However, our associate Shankarbhai had a lot of faith in Hansaben who wanted to do this business in sarees.

We gave her a loan  of Rs 10,000. 

Hansaben would purchase Sarees from some lady in Radhanpur. She would put the same in a bag and go to nearby villages to sell. We were worried whether she would be making profit in this. To our surprise Hansaben did not default on a single instalment of her loan & repaid the entire loan.She asked for another loan. When I went to Radhanpur , I met Hansaben & asked her of the benefit she got out of the first loan.    She said "I could save small amounts from selling sarees. My husband had purchased a second hand Rickshaw by making a down payment. I gave him Rs 9,000 which I saved for making the down payment. Earlier we used to be labourers but now we both have our own businesses. From the loan that you will give now, I will buy little more expensive sarees. However you please give a loan of Rs 30,000 instead of Rs 10,000."  Hansaben requested this with a smile and also with a lot of confidence.

We support 7000 such people in their business by giving loans. Respected Shri Pratulbhai Shroff of Dr K R Shroff Foundation has been a big supporter in this mission.  We are extremely thankful to him for his generous contribution to this cause.

10,000 રૃપિયામાં સાડીઓનો ધંધો?

સાંભળીને નવાઈ લાગે ને? મનેય લાગી. આટલી નાની રકમમાંથી કેટલી સાડી આવે એ પણ કેવી ગુણવત્તાવાળી ને કોણ ખરીદે?

ઢગલો પ્રશ્નો થયા. પણ અમારા કાર્યકર શંકરભાઈને સાડીનો ધંધો કરવાની હોંશ રાખનાર હંસાબહેન પર ભરોષો હતો.

અમે લોન પેટે પૈસા આપ્યા.

હંસાબહેન રાધનપુરમાંથી જ કોઈ બહેન પાસેથી સાડી ખરીદે અને થેલામાં ભરી ગામડાંઓમાં વેચવા જાય. આ બધુ સાંભળી ખરેખર નફાકારક વેપાર થતો હશે એ પ્રશ્ન થતો. પણ હંસાબહેને લોનનો એક પણ હપ્તો પાડ્યો નહીં. એમની લોન ભરપાઈ થઈ ગઈ.

એમણે બીજી લોન માંગી. રાધનપુર જવાનું થયું ત્યારે એમને મળી અને પહેલી લોનથી શું ફાયદો થયો એવું પુછ્યું તો એમણે કહ્યું.

‘ધંધો કરતા કરતા થોડી બચત કરતી ગઈ. મારા ઘરવાળાએ હમણાં જૂની રીક્ષા ડાઉનપેમેન્ટ ભરીને લીધી. ડાઉનપેમેન્ટ ભરવા મે 9000 સાડીઓના ધંધામાંથી બચત કરીને આપ્યા. પહેલાં એ મજૂરી કરતા હવે અમે બેય ધંધાવાળા થઈ ગયા.તમે બીજી લોન આપશો તો હાલ જે સાડીઓ લાવુ છું એના કરતા થોડી મોંધી સાડીઓ લાવી શકીશ પણ હા તમે હવે 10ની જગ્યા એ 30,000ની લોન કરજો’ એવું હસતા હસતા પૂરા આત્મવિશ્વાસ સાથે હંસાબહેને કહ્યું...

આવા 7000 થી વધારે વ્યક્તિઓને અત્યાર સુધી અમે લોન આપી ધંધો કરતા કર્યા છે. ડો. કે.આર.શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશન આદરણીય પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફનો આમાં ઘણો મોટો સહયોગ એમના અમે ઘણા આભારી...

God always gives the best and when He does not give, He helps you to find the way to get the best. When God makes you wait, He is preparing to give you the best. One must be patient and continuously strive to do the best. 

Recently in Radhanpur, Patan, all who had been granted loans by VSSM, came to meet me.

They all had shown patience & persistence.

Zamuba & Madhuben said that while everyone went to work , they stayed back to take care of the home. However it was their dream to work and bring home a few rupees. If they get buffalos, they would get the fodder from the forest for free. From the milk that they would deliver to homes, they could earn some money. However the question was who would pay for the buffalo.

Dilipbhai wanted to sell fruits which required more funds, Mitulben wanted to grow her cutlery business, Arvindbhai wanted to do Mandap construction work, Bharatbhai wanted to do furniture work. In short, all had aspirations & dreams but had no funds to fulfill their dreams.

Our colleague Shankarbhai committed on behalf of VSSM that all would get loans. With the help of the loan they could convert their dreams into reality. Everyone's income increased.

Shankarbhai, in a lighter vein, said that if he has to come to collect instalments of loan he will not help them get further loan. This had the desired impact and all deposited their instalment on time in the VSSM account directly. Almost everyone's loan was getting over. Everyone talked about how the loan helped them increase their income. They quietly asked for a second loan. When we asked why the second loan, they reminded us that  we had told them to become financially stable which in turn would help to solve many other problems. They had dreams to fulfill.

We were happy to listen to them & promised them a second loan.

In Patan District we have given such loans to over 1000 families so that they could do independent business. We at VSSM are thankful to Respected Pratulbhai Shroff & Dr K R Foundation. Pratulbhai compares  education to a precious stone and to that we added financial stability. If these both are available to men, their future would be just great. They would become independent and that is what we want.

ઈશ્વર જયારે આપે છે ત્યારે સારુ જ આપે છે, નથી આપતા ત્યારે વધુ સારુ મેળવવાનો રસ્તો આપે છે પણ જ્યારે રાહ જોવડાવે ત્યારે તો સૌથી ઉત્તમ ફળ આપવાની એ તૈયારી કરે છે..

વાત છે ધીરજની અને જે પણ કાર્ય કરીએ તેમાં સતત મથ્યા કરવાની..

હમણાં પાટણના રાધનપુર જવાનું થયું. અમે રાધનપુરમાં ઘણા પરિવારોને આર્થિક રીતે તેઓ પગભર થાય તે માટે લોન આપેલી. તે એ બધા મળવા આવ્યા. એ દરેકની વાર્તા કાંઈક આવી જ. 

ઝમુબા અને મધુબહેને કહ્યું, 'ઘરના બધા કામે જાય ને અમે ઘર સંભાળીયે પણ મનમાં પોતાના હાથમાં બે પાંચ રૃપિયા આપ કમાઈના આવે એવી હોંશ. ભેંસ લઈએ તો ઘાસચારો તો વગડામાંથી મળી રહે ને ઘર ઘરાવું દૂધ ભરાવીએ તો બે પાંચ રૃપિયા રળી લેવાય. પણ ભેંસ લઈ કોણ આપે?'

દીલપીભાઈ શાકભાજીની લારી ચલાવે એમને ફ્રુટની લારી કરવી હતી પણ એમાં પૈસા ઘણા જોઈએ. આવું જ મીતુબેનનું પણ એમને કટલરીનો ધંધો વધારવો હતો તો અરવીંદભાઈને મંડપનો ધંધો કરવો હતો તો ભરતભાઈને ફર્નીચરનું કામ રાખવું હતું.

ટૂંકમાં સૌના સમણા મોટા હતા. પણ સમણાં પૂરા કરવા પૈસા નહીં.

અમારા કાર્યકર શંકરભાઈએ આ બધાને VSSM મદદ કરશેનું કહ્યું ને અમે લોન આપી..

જેેમાંથી બધાની સુખાકારી વધી..

'લોનના હપ્તા લેવા મને બોલાવશો તો ફેર લોન નહીં આપુ' એવી શંકરભાઈની મીઠી ટકોરે પણ કામ કર્યું ને બધા સીધા અમારા ખાતામાં જમા કરાવતા થયા. 

લગભગ બધાની લોન પૂર્ણ થવામાં હતી. આવકમાં કેવો વધારો થયો એની બધાએ વાત કરી. પછી હળવેકથી બીજી લોનની માંગણી કરી. 

શું કામ બીજી? એમ પુછ્યું તો કહે,

'તમે જ ક્યો છો ને કે પૈસાવાળા થાવ. પૈસા કમાશો તો ઘણા પ્રશ્નો આપો આપ ઉકલી જશે. તે અમારી આંખો હવે સ્વપ્ન જોતી થઈ ગઈ.'

સાંભળીને રાજી થવાયું... આપીશું બીજી લોન પણ..

પાટણ જિલ્લામાં અમે 1000 થી વધારે પરિવારોને લોન આપી સ્વતંત્ર ધંધો કરતા કર્યા છે.

Hardwork is like climbing the staircase and destiny is often like an elevator. Elevator can malfunction but staircase will never. This sentence applies appropriately to a hard working person.

Recently met Rajeshbhai & Ashaben living in Vaghpur village  of Sabarkantha. Both very seriously hardworking.

They run a small grain grinding mill. It's the only such mill in the village so they have a good inflow of customers. But they have only one grinder so if they can get another one their income could increase. However, they don't have any surplus money to buy another grinder. Earlier they had borrowed on interest. But interest is always killing. They decided not to borrow on interest. Meanwhile, they came to know from our colleague Rambhai that they can get a loan from VSSM. So under the guidance of Rambhai they applied to VSSM for a loan. Our colleague Rizwanbhai also visited their grinding mill. 

Seeing their sincere & hardworking approach we approved them a loan of Rs 30,000 from which they bought another grinder. Their income doubled. Ashaben said that they are now able to save money.

Rs 30,000 is not a big amount but it changed their lives like that of many others to whom VSSM have given loans.

મહેનત પગથિયાં સમાન છે અને લીફ્ટ નસીબ સમાન,

લીફ્ટ બગડી શકે પણ પગથિયા હંમેશા સાથ આપશે..

ક્યાંક વાંચેલું આ વાક્ય મહેનતકશ લોકો માટે એકદમ બંધ બેસે.

સાબરકાંઠાના વાઘપુરામાં રહેતા રાજેશભાઈ અને આશાબહેનને હમણાં મળી. આ બેઉની મહેનત પણ આવી જ.

વાઘપુરામાં એ ઘંટી ચલાવે. ગામમાં બીજી ઘંટીનું ચલણ કદાચ નહીં. એટલે એમના ત્યાં ઘરાગી ઘણી રહે. પણ એમની પાસે એક જ ઘંટી.  જો ઝીણું દળવાની ઘંટી એ લાવી દે તો એમની આવક વધી શકે..

પણ એ લાવવા પૈસા નહીં. વ્યાજવા પૈસા એમણે અગાઉ લીધેલા પણ એ કહે, વ્યાજમાં મરી જવાય. એટલે વ્યાજે પૈસા લેવાનું ટાળ્યું.

આવામાં વાઘપુરામાં રહેતા રામભાઈ પાસેથી VSSM માંથી લોન મળે એ વિગત એમણે જાણી અને લોન માટે એમણે રામભાઈને સાથે રાખી અરજી કરી.

અમારા કાર્યકર રીઝવાને પણ આ પરિવારની મુલાકાત લીધી. 

મહેનતકશ પરિવાર લોન તો આપવાની જ હોય.

30,000 મળ્યા એમાંથી બીજી ઘંટી લીધી. આવક બમણી થઈ. હવે તો બચત પણ સારી થાય એવું આશાબહેને કહ્યું.

ત્રીસ હજાર રકમ મોટી નથી પણ એ નાનકડી મદદે એમની જીંદગી બદલી નાખી..

"We work very hard but success eludes us. We do not have money to put in the business as our capital. We would get into a debt trap if we borrow at a high rate of interest. In case we need money for sickness and are unable to pay the lender, he would come & threaten us. We would feel helpless. What sort of life is this ? We just have enough to eat twice & no saving is possible"

Sanjaybhai & other youngsters from Lakdipoyda village in Mahisagar district said this. They buy small quantities of dried garlic, spices and sell it in neighbouring villages.  They cannot buy large quantities because of lack of capital. They cannot borrow because of high interest rates. They  are afraid of the lenders.

Our VSSM colleague Shri Vinodbhai came in contact with these families. He sought loan for these people from VSSM. He was confident about their business acumen. For the families this was what they exactly wanted. Seven persons got a loan and from that they bought goods at reasonable prices to trade. 

Gradually the income increased and at the same time there was no mental tension to pay interest or pressure of repayment. They concentrated on growing the business. Today two of them have bought  Eco-Vehicle out of their savings and loan. They use it for business and sometimes also give their vehicle on hire. Some of them bought two-wheelers to do business by going to distant places. 

This is the result of a small loan and mental peace. If we can assure such people that we are with you in your endeavours that itself brings success.

Villagers of Lakdipoyda have big dreams. Seeing the success of males, the ladies of the village also have aspirations. They also are keen to get loans and do business.  It is a pleasure to hear this.

'મહેનત તો પારાવાર કરીએ પણ સફળતાની રેખા જાણે હાથમાં નહીં. અમારી પાસે ધંધામાં નાખવા ઝાઝી મુડી નહીં. બીજા પાસેથી દસના કે પંદરના (ટકા) ભાવે વ્યાજવા લાવી ધંધામાં પૈસા નાખીયે પણ  વ્યાજમાં જ મરી જઈએ. એમાં જો બિમારી આવી ગઈ ને વ્યાજવાળાને પૈસા આપી  ન શકાય તો એ આવીને ધમકાવે ને કેવું કેવું બોલે.. એ વખતે બહુ લાચારી લાગતી. થતું આ તે કેવી જીંદગી? બે ટંક પેટ ભરીને ખાઈ શકાય. બાકી ભેગુ કરવાનું તો વિચારી પણ ન શકાય! '

મહિસાગર જિલ્લાના લકડીપોયડાગામના સંજયભાઈ અને તેેમની સાથે યુવાનોએ આ કહ્યું. આ બધા સુકુ લસણ, મરી, મસાલા ટૂંકમાં સીઝનલ ધંધો કરવા થોડો ઘણો સામાન લાવીને આજુબાજુના ગામોમાં ફરી વેચે. માલ સામાન ઝાઝો લાવી સ્ટોક કરવા જોગ મુડ઼ી નહીં. વ્યાજવા પણ દસ પંદર હજારથી વધુ લેવાનું એ ટાળે. 

વ્યાજવટાવુંનો ધંધો કરવાવાળા માણસના પૈસા ભરવામાં મોડુ થાય તો બીક લાગે.

VSSM ના કાર્યકર વિનોદભાઈ આ પરિવારોના પરિચયમાં આવ્યા. તેમની ધંધાની કુનેહ જોઈને સંસ્થામાંથી લોન આપવા કહ્યું. આ પરિવારોને તો ભાવતુ તુ ને વૈદે કીધા જેવું થયું. આખી વસાહતમાં સાત વ્યક્તિઓએ લોન લીધી અને સામટો સામાન એ જ્યાંથી સસ્તો મળે ત્યાંથી લાવ્યા.

આવક વધી. વળી માનસીક ચિંતા પણ નહોતી એટલે વધારે સારુ શું કરી શકાય તે દિશામાં વિચારવાનું પણ થયું. ધંધામાં નફો રળતા ગયા. આજે એમનામાંના બે જણે ઈકો ગા઼ડી ખરીદી. પોતાની બચતની સાથે ફાયનાન્સમાંથી લોન લીધી. ઈકોનો ઉપયોગ ધંધા માટે કરે અને જ્યારે ભાડુ મળે ત્યારે ભાડે પણ ફેરવે. કેટલાક વ્યક્તિઓ બાઈક લાવ્યા. હવે બાઈક પર દૂરના ગામડાઓમાં ધંધો કરવા જાય. 

નાનકડી લોનની સાથે માનસીક હૂંફનું આ પરિણામ. માણસને તમે સાહસ કરો અમે સાથે છીએ એવું કહી શકીએ તો એ માણસ એની મેળે જ ઘણું કરી જશે. 

લકડી પોયડૃાના આ પરિવારોના સ્વપ્નો મોટા છે. એમને મળીને નીકળી રહી હતી ત્યારે એમની બહેનોએ કહ્યું અમને પણ લોન આપજો અમારે અમારો જુદો ધંધો કરવો છે..

આ બધુ સાંભળીને રાજી થવાય...

I want to buy my own land to cultivate vegetables. Presently I am cultivating it on someone else's land. It will be beneficial if I can have my own land.

So said Shri Bharatbhai of Kheda Village, Hariyala. Bharatbhai had studied upto 10th standard and was doing a job in the city. However due to ill health of his wife he moved to the village.

He knew how to cultivate vegetables, therefore decided to do that after moving to the village.

Since he did not have his own land, he decided to do so on a local farmer's land. He would get 25% share and the rest would go to the land owner. This was not viable and he could not sustain himself. If he had his own funds, he can get 50% share. After much thinking he decided to take an interest bearing loan and buy land. He was hopeful that he will be able to repay the loan and pay interest. However the interest bearing loan broke his back. He could not pay his instalments in time and was levied with a penalty. He was threatened and had to undergo lot of mental stress. With great difficulty he came out of this tangle. Not only he could not save any money but had to undergo mental agony.

In the meanwhile he came to know about VSSM through our colleague Shri Rajnibhai. In Kheda region we have given loans to about 300 persons. Rajnibhai met Bharatbhai and understood the whole situation. We gave a loan of Rs 30,000 and kept 50% of land in our possession. Bharatbhai cultivated Bitter-Gourd and bought necessary bamboo and other material.

When we met him after some time, he was very happy. He was confident that his income will grow and he will be in a position to repay the entire loan of Rs 30,000 in one season itself. Isn't it surprising that a small amount of Rs 30,000 can bring so much happiness in the life of a person. 

He said "after I repay this loan, give me another loan. In 5 to 10 years I want to be a land owner. I want to send my children to a good university for education. Please support me"

It is but natural that we have to support such hard working & honest people. On another land he cultivated Brinjals from which he gave us some.

When a person gets help he starts to dream. To be instrumental in making some one dream is a great joy & satisfaction.

So far at VSSM we have made more than 6800 families self sufficient. We are thankful to all well-wishers who have helped us in this cause.

'મારે ખેતીની જમીન લેવી છે. આ ભાગવી જમીનમાં શાકભાજી કરીએ છીએ. પણ પોતાની થાય તો ઘણો ફાયદો થાય.'

ખેડાના હરિયાળાના ભરતભાઈએ આ વાત કરી. ભરતભાઈ 10 ધોરણ ભણ્યા. શહેરમાં નોકરી કરતા પણ પત્ની બિમાર રહેતા શહેર છોડી એ ગામમાં આવીને વસ્યા.

શાકભાજીની ખેતી એમને આવડે તે એ કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું.  પણ પોતાની પાસે જમીન નહીં એટલે ભાગવી જમીન રાખવાનું નક્કી કર્યું. ગામના ખેડૂતની જમીન ચોથાભાગે રાખી તેમાં ખેતી શરૃ કરી. પણ એમાં મળતર ઝાઝુ ન મળ્યું. પૈસા હોય તો પચાસ ટકા ભાગમાં ખેતી થાત. પણ એ માટે પાસે પૈસા નહીં. આખરે ઘણો વિચાર કરીને એમણે વ્યાજવા પૈસા લીધા. મળતર મળશે તો વ્યાજ શીખે પૈસા ભરાઈ જશે એવું માનેલું પણ વ્યાજે લીધેલા પૈસાએ તો એમની કમરતોડી નાખી. નિયત સમયમાં હપ્તો ન ભરાય તો પેનલ્ટી અને ધાકધમકીઓ પણ ખરી. માંડ માંડ એ વ્યાજવા પૈસાની ચુંગાલમાંથી મુક્ત થયા. બચત તો એમાં કશી ન થઈ ઊલટાનું માનસીક રીતે થાક્યા. 

આવામાં એમને VSSM ના કાર્યકર રજનીભાઈનો પરીચય થયો. ખેડા જિલ્લામાં 300 થી વધુ વ્યક્તિઓને અમે વગર વ્યાજે લોન ધંધો કરવા આપેલી. તે એમણે એ જાણીને રજનીભાઈનો સંપર્ક કર્યો. 

રજનીભાઈ એમને મળ્યા સમગ્ર સ્થિતિ સમજી 30,000ની લોન આપી. આ 30,000 થી એમણે પચાસ ટકા ભાગમાં ખેતી રાખી. એમણે ખેતરમાં કારેલાનો પાક કર્યો. કારેલાના વેલા ચડાવવા એમણે વાંસ ને અન્ય સામાન ખરીદ્યો.

અમે જ્યારે એમને મળ્યા ત્યારે એ ખુબ ખુશ હતા. 'આ વખતે મારી આવકમાં વધારો થશે જ. તમારા 30,000 તો હું એક સીઝનમાં જ આપી દઈશ' એવું એમણે હરખાતા કહ્યું.

નવાઈ લાગે 30,000માં કોઈ વ્યક્તિને જીવનનું આવડું મોટુ સુખ મળે?

એમણે કહ્યુ, 'મારી આ લોન પતે પછી બીજી આપજો હું બીજી જમીન ભાગવી રાખીશ. મારે પાંચ દસ વર્ષમાં મારી પોતાની જમીન ખરીદવી છે. મારા છોકરાંઓને સરસ યુનીવર્સીટીમાં ભણાવવા છે.. બસ તમે સાથે રહેજો.'

આવા મહેનતકશ લોકોની સાથે તો રહેવાનું જ હોય.. એમણે કારેલાની ખેતી સિવાય એક ખતર રીંગણ વાવ્યા છે. જ્યાંથી એમણે અમને રીંગણ આપ્યા.

માણસને મદદ મળે એટલે એની આંખો સમણાં જોવાનું શરૃ કરી દે. આ સમણાં જોવડાવવામાં નિમિત્ત બનવાનું સુખ બહુ મોટુ.

ભરતભાઈ સુખી થાય તેવી શુભભાવના.. અત્યાર સુધી આવા 6800 થી વધુ પરિવારોને લોન આપી પગભર કર્યા છે.. આ કાર્યમાં મદદ કરનાર તમામ સ્વજનોનો આભાર...
