There are numerous individuals around us to who do not have material comforts yet they manage to live their life with joy and contentment. It is as if the mantra of their life is to find happiness in little things. It is when we meet people like these that we too find humble reasons to lead a joyous life.

Govindbhai resides in Delwada village in Gandhinagar, his economic condition is pathetic, even the place where his straw-mud house is built does not belong to him. The means of earning are ‘whatever available’ yet life goes on most importantly without any complaints!!

Whilst working with deprived families, we motivate them to work and earn their living with honesty so that they are equipped to resolve their own issues in future. They are empowered enough to resolve the difficulties they face, and do not have to depend on others to address their challenges be it government or society.

VSSM’s Rizwan works with the families of Govindbhai’s settlement, we have been trying to help these families obtain residential plots. Rizwan also talks about the various efforts VSSM does to elevate these families from the cycle of poverty. “I know a little about buffalo trade. If I get small capital, I could buy a buffalo calf, care for her, raise her and sell once she is fully grown. This way I will earn a decent amount.” Govindbhai had shared with Rizwan.

If people like Govindbhai aspire to improve their economic well-being half our goal is achieved. We provided a loan to Govinndbhai. He bought a buffalo calf and raised it for one and a half year, she has matured now and Govindbbhai plans to sell her, from which he will buy 2-3  calves.

Govindbhai has also repaid the VSSM loan and he has the capital to buy more calves. If a person is powered by enthusiasm and zeal he/she can move mountains and this has been proved to be true by Govindbhai, who as mentioned has lived his life with contentment.

Rizwan is an honest and meticulous fellow team member, it is because of him we met Govindbhai. Glad that he has been instrumental in identifying the right kind of people to support.

ગાંધીનગરના દેલવાડાગામમાં ગોવિંદભાઈ રહે. આર્થિક સ્થિતિ અત્યંત નબળી. જે જગ્યા પર ગાર માટીનું છાપરુ બાંધ્યું એ જગ્યા પણ પોતાની નહીં. આજીવિકા માટે જે મળે તે કામ કરે ને એમ જીવન હખેડખે પણ સૌથી અગત્યનું કોઈ ફરિયાદ વગર ચાલે ...

અમે વંચિત પરિવારો સાથે કાર્ય કરીએ તે સૌને સારા માર્ગે પૈસા કમાવવા પ્રેરીત કરીએ જેથી ભવિષ્યમાં પોતાની તકલીફોનો નિવેડો એ પોતે જ લાવી શકે. મૂળ વાત આધારિતતા ખતમ કરવાની છે. પછી એ આધારિતતા સરકાર કે સમાજની જ કેમ નહોય...

ગોવિંદભાઈની વસાહતમાં રહેતા વંચિત પરિવારોને રહેવા પોતાની જગ્યા મળે તે માટે અમે કોશીશ કરીએ. અમારા કાર્યકર રીઝવાન આ પરિવારોની વચમાં સતત જાય ત્યારે સંસ્થાની આ ભાવનાની વાત એ સહજ કહે. 

એક દિવસ ગોવિંદભાઈએ કહ્યું, મને ભેંસોના વેપારની સમજણ છે. જો મને નાની મૂડી મળે તો હું ભેંસની પાડી લાવું ને એની ચાકરી કરી એને ઉછેરુ ને એ જ્યારે ભેંસ થાય ત્યારે એને વેચુ તો મને  સારી આવક થાય. 

ગોવિંદભાઈ જેવા માણસો આર્થિક સમૃદ્ધિની એશણા રાખે એ તો અમારુ લક્ષ્ય છે અમે ગોવિંદભાઈને લોન આપી ને એ એક પાડી લાવ્યા. દોઢ વર્ષ પાડીની ચાકરી કરી. હવે એ વિયાવાની છે. ગોવિંદભાઈ હવે એને વેચશે. એમના મતે એની સારી કિંમત નીપજશે.. જેમાંથી એ બે થી ત્રણ પાડી લાવી શકશે..

VSSMમાંથી લીધેલી લોન તો મજૂરી કરીને એમણે પુરી પણ કરી દીધી. પણ વેપારમાં કરવાનું રોકાણ હવે એમની પાસે છે.. સમજણ અને ઘગશ હોય તો માણસ પથ્થર કે પાણીમાંથીયે પૈસા પેદા કરી દે આ કહેવત ગોવિદભાઈના કિસ્સામાં સાચી ઠરી છે. વળી પાછુ ગોવિંદભાઈ ઉપર જણાવ્યું એમ આનંદીત જીવ. 

કાર્યકર રીઝવાન નિષ્ઠાવાન ને સૌથી અગત્યનું ચોક્કસાઈવાળો.. એની આંગળીએ ગોવિંદભાઈ અમારા સુધી આવ્યા. રીઝવાન આવા સરસ માણસોને યોગ્ય મદદ પહોંચાડવામાં નિમિત્ત બન્યો એનો રાજીપો.. 

ને સૌથી અગત્યનું આ કાર્યમાં મદદ કરનાર પ્રિયજનોનો આભાર.. તેમણે સહયોગ ન કર્યો હોત તો આ બધુયે થવું અશક્ય...

Young girls are taught the art of making cutlery & sell readymade garments in Kangasiya Community. At first it was a pleasure to know, but I did not like what Sureshbhai said. He said,

“Ben, we don’t allow our daughters to study much, after marriage. I will send my daughters to school till 7th standard because our only requirement is that they can count and manage our cutlery business as they need some knowledge into accounting, once they learn this our traditional business is going to run smooth. We involve them into cutlery business since childhood itself so that they can gain maximum knowledge and can earn their livelihood.

Sureshbhai’s wife has also done the same thing. 

"Ben, I've been in the business of selling cutlery and readymade clothing ever since I was a child.  I am not much educated but my accounts is excellent, I never make a mistake of even a single rupee. ”

Sureshbhai wants his daughters to study well. But girls are still not getting education in society. Whether it is a daughter or a son, both need to be taught their traditional occupations. No one has foretold what will happen tomorrow. But today's daughters do not get as much freedom as they need to get married and due to bad notions such as of education, dowry, shame, child marriage etc.

Sureshbhai and his wife work together selling readymade garments. It seems necessary to see that bay is similar in this regard. Both are well trained. Even before his marriage, his wife was into readymade business and still doing the same at present. Sureshbhai says,

“Khodubhai is associated with the organization. He was the one who spoke to me that VSSM organization offers interest loans without developing a business. He visited me with Kanubhai and Chhayaben. I was given a loan of Rs. 30,000 with ready cash, they brought readymade clothes and started selling. Even now we buy goods with cash. So thought of doing a seasonable business. Every day, he sits in the Kharedi market and go to the Gujri Bazar in Jamnagar every Monday. If goods are large and varied, they may be sold more. If you buy luggage in stock then you will benefitted. 

Sureshbhai has repaid his loan entirely. He wants to expand his business. If he buys the material of readymade garments, he will be beneficial. If he feels in the need in future, the organization will be helpful.

VSSM is able to brighten the lives of many people due to the many well wishes like you. This light will spread even more. We are thankful to you for all your support

નાનપણથી જ દીકરીઓને કટલરી અને રેડીમેડ કપડાના વેપારની કળા શીખવાડતો કાંગસિયા સમાજ. પહેલા તો આ જાણી આનંદ થયો પણ સુરેશભાઈએ જે કહ્યું એ થોડું ના ગમ્યું. તેઓ કહે,

“બેન. અમારે તો દીકરીઓને વધારે ના ભણાવાય, લગ્ન પછી લાજ કાઢવાની આવે. હું મારી દીકરીઓને સાત ધોરણ સુધી ભણાવીશ. લખતા વાંચતા આવડી જાય એટલે બહુ થયું. હિસાબ કરતા આવડવુ જોઈએ. હિસાબ આવડે એટલે ધંધો સારો થાય. હું પોતે બે ચોપડી (ધોરણ) અને મારી પત્ની સાત ચોપડી ભણેલી છે. પરંતુ અમે નાનપણથી કટલરી અને રેડીમેડ કપડાના વ્યવસાય સાથે જોડાયેલા છીએ.”

સુરેશભાઈના પત્નીએ પણ એ જ વાત કરી.

“ બેન, પિયરમાં હતી ત્યારથી આ કટલરી અને રેડીમેડ કપડા વેચવાનો ધંધો કરું છું. સાત ચોપડી ભણેલી છું પણ હિસાબ મારો ચોખ્ખો હોય. એક રૂપિયાની ભૂલ ના આવે. દીકરીઓને પણ કટલરીનો વ્યવસાય કરતા શીખવાડ્યું હોય તો કાલ ઉઠીને એમને કામ લાગે “

દિકરીઓને સુરેશભાઈ ભણાવી રહ્યા છે પરંતુ હજી ઘણાયે સમાજમાં દીકરીઓને ભણતર મળતું નથી. દીકરી હોય કે દીકરો હોય બંનેને પોતાનો પરંપરાગત ધંધો શીખવાડવામાં આવે એ જરૂરી છે. ભવિષ્ય કોઈએ નથી ભાખ્યું કે કાલે શું થશે. પરંતુ આજેય દીકરીઓને અમુક ધોરણ સુધીનું ભણતર, દહેજપ્રથા, લાજ કાઢવી, બાળલગ્ન વગેરે કુરિવાજોને કારણે જોઈએ એટલા પ્રમાણમાં સ્વતંત્રતા મળતી નથી.

સુરેશભાઈ અને તેમના પત્ની બંને ભેગા મળી રેડીમેડ કપડાનો ધંધો કરે છે. એ જોઈ એવું જરૂર લાગે કે બેય આ બાબતમાં સરખા છે. બંને સારી રીતે વેપાર કરી જાણે છે. લગ્ન પહેલા પણ તેમના પત્ની રેડીમેડ કપડાનો ધંધો કરતા અને આજે પણ કરી રહ્યા છે. સુરેશભાઈ કહે,

“ સંસ્થા સાથે સંકળાયેલા ખોડુભાઈ મારા સગા થાય. તેમણે જ મને વાત કરી કે VSSM સંસ્થા ધંધો વિકસાવવા વગર વ્યાજની લોન આપે છે. મારી મુલાકાત તેમણે કનુભાઈ અને છાયાબેન સાથે કરાવી. સંસ્થામાંથી મને રૂપિયા ૩૦,૦૦૦ની લોન આપવામાં આવી. લોન મળતા રોકડેથી રેડીમેડ કપડા લાવ્યા અને વેચાણ શરુ કર્યું. હાલ પણ રોકડેથી સામાન ખરીદીએ છીએ. આમ તો અમે સિઝનેબલ ધંધો કરીએ. રોજ ખારેડી બજારમાં બેસીએ અને દર સોમવારે જામનગરમાં ગુજરી બજાર ભરાય તેમાં જઈએ. સામાન વધારે હોય અને તેમાં વિવિધતા હોય તો વધું વેચાય. ઝાઝો સામાન ખરીદીએ તો ફાયદો થાય. ખારેડીમાં અમે છ જણા ભેગો સામાન લાવીએ અને પછી વેચાણ કરીએ.”

સુરેશભાઈએ નિયમિત હપ્તો ભરી લોન પૂરી કરી દીધી. તેઓ પોતાનો ધંધો વિકસાવવા માંગે છે. તેઓ અમદાવાદમાંથી રેડીમેડ કપડાનો સામાન ખરીદે તો તેમને ઘણો ફાયદો થઇ શકે તેમ છે. તેથી ઈચ્છે છે કે ભવિષ્યમાં જરૂર પડશે તો સંસ્થા તેમને મદદ કરશે. 

VSSM સંસ્થા એ દાતાઓની મદદથી ઘણા લોકોના જીવનમાં પ્રકાશ ફેલાવ્યો છે. આ ઉજાસ ધીરે ધીરે

Govindbhai Melabhai Raval resides in Delavada village of Mansa Taluka of Gandhinagar District since last 40 years. Govindbhai used to work as a labour lifting the bags in Market Yard of Mansa. In which during monsoon, he gets less work but still he earns Rs. 1500/- weekly. From Long time, he was thinking to buy a buffalo and had saved Rs. 10,000/- To buy a buffalo he was required to get extra Rs.10,000/- along with it. He talked about it with Rizwanbhai (A VSSM field worker). he got a loan of Rs. 10,000/- So if he would buy a buffalo and give its milk in the dairy he would get more income but it was not possible to buy a buffalo in 20,000/- and so bought the calf still it was not able to give milk for next one year and he got the expense to take care of it.

Govindbhai says, “Ben, how can we trust

anyone like this because many people came in the village made us sign some documents and after that never returned? Rizwanbhai came to the village for the first time in Delvada for survey. For one and a half year we did not trust him. He started coming to our settlement regularly. We could not get our caste certificates for many years but when we got those into our hands, we started to trust Rizwanbhai and the organization. Mittalben came to our home and we were really happy for it. I was born in Delvada. Since then we are living in shanty, we had Aadhar documents and APL card. It has been 40 years now and we still did not receive any water or electricity supply. Rizwanbhai has filled up the forms of plot for residence and supply of water and electricity for us. We stay in the shanty without any supplies with our children, we are not able to sleep at night. We wish that we get electricity- water supply as soon as possible. As we got Mittalben and the organization we don’t feel that we are alone we feel like we have someone with us. If we get plots than it would be great support for us”.

Applications are filled so that people staying at Delvada village gets plot to reside, electricity and water supply and also issuance of BPL card before the government. The organization is trying their best to provide basic necessities to these people of Delvada as soon as possible.  Because of you donors we are able to give houses to the ones who don’t have it and bringing brightness in their life thanks a lot to every one of you...

ગાંધીનગરના માણસા તાલુકાનું દેલવાડા ગામ. જેમાં ગોવિંદભાઈ મેલાભાઈ રાવળ છેલ્લા ૪૦ વર્ષથી વસવાટ કરે.ગોવિંદભાઈ માણસા માર્કેટયાર્ડમાં કોથળા ઉપાડવાનું કામ કરે. તેમાં તેમને હાલ ચોમાસામાં કામ ઓછું મળે તે છતાં અઠવાડિયામાં ૧૫૦૦ રૂપિયા તો મળી રહે.તેઓ ઘણાં સમયથી ભેંસ લાવવાનું વિચારતા. થોડા થોડા કરી તેમણે રૂપિયા૧૦,૦૦૦ ભેગા કર્યા. જેમાં ભેંસ આવી શકે તેમ નહોતી. ભેંસ લાવવા બીજા રૂપિયા ૧૦,૦૦૦ની જરૂર હતી. ગોવિંદભાઈ એ રીઝવાનભાઈ (VSSMના કાર્યકર)ને વાત કરી. જો ભેંસ આવી જાય અને ગોવિંદભાઈ ડેરીમાં દૂધ ભરાવવા લાગે તો આવક વધી જાય. સંસ્થા તરફથી ગોવિંદભાઈને રૂપિયા ૧૦,૦૦૦ની લોન આપવામાં આવી. રૂપિયા ૨૦,૦૦૦માં ભેંસ તો આવે નહીં તેથી ગોવિંદભાઈ પાડી લાવ્યા. પાડી દૂધ આપતી થાય તેને હજી લગભગ વર્ષ જેવું થશે. ત્યાં સુધી ગોવિંદભાઈને પાડીની દેખરેખ પાછળ ખર્ચ કરવો પડશે.

ગોવિંદભાઈ કહે, “ બેન,આમ કેવી રીતે કોઈના પર ભરોસો કરીએ. કારણકે કેટલાય લોકો આવ્યા અત્યાર સુધીમાં, ખોટી ખોટી લાલચો આપે, ફોર્મ ભરે અને જતા રહે, પછી પાછા ફરીને જોવા પણ ના આવે. તેથી રીઝવાનભાઈ(VSSMના કાર્યકર)દોઢ વર્ષ પહેલા દેલવાડામાં સર્વે માટે આવ્યા ત્યારે અમે તેમના ઉપર વિશ્વાસ ના કર્યો. તેઓ અમારી વસાહતમાં અવારનવાર આવતા થયા. ઘણા વર્ષોથી અમે લોકો જાતિના દાખલા માટે ધક્કો ખાતા હતા.જયારે એ જાતિ પ્રમાણપત્ર અમારા હાથમાં આવ્યા ત્યારે સંસ્થા પર અને  રીઝવાનભાઈ પર ભરોસો બેઠો. મિત્તલબેન પોતે અમારી વસાહતમાં આવ્યા એટલે બહુ આનંદ થયો. મારો જન્મ અહિયાં દેલવાડામાં જ થયો. વર્ષોથી અમે આ છાપરામાં રહીએ.આધારના પુરાવાતો અમારી પાસે હતા. રેશનકાર્ડ હતું એપણ APL કાર્ડ હતું.૪૦ વર્ષ થવા આવ્યા હજી અમારા છાપરામાં લાઈટ, પાણીની કોઈ સુવિધા નથી. રીઝવાનભાઈ દ્વારા અમને રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટ મળે તેનાં તેમજ અમારા વિસ્તારમાં લાઈટ – પાણીની સુવિધા થાય તે માટેના ફોર્મ ભરવામાં આવ્યા છે. અમે છાપરામાં કોઈ જાતની સુવિધા વગર બાળકો સાથે રહીએ છીએ. રાતે ઊંઘ પણ આવતી નથી. લાઈટ – પાણીની વ્યવસ્થા જલ્દી થાય એવું અમે ઈચ્છીએ છીએ. VSSM સંસ્થા અને મિત્તલબેન મળ્યા તો હવે એવું લાગે છે કે અમે એકલા નથી. કોઈ અમારી સાથે છે.જો ભવિષ્યમાં અમારા ઘર થઇ જાય તો રહેવા માટેનો આધાર થઇ જાય. “

દેલવાડામાં વસતા પરિવારોને રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટ મળી રહે, તેમના વિસ્તારમાં લાઈટ – પાણીની સુવિધા, તેમજતેમના બી.પી.એલ. કાર્ડ માટે સરકારમાં અરજી કરવામાં આવી છે. સંસ્થા દ્વારા પૂરા પ્રયત્નો રહેશે કે દેલવાડામાં વસતા પરિવારોને ઝડપથી પ્રાથમિક સુવિધાઓ મળતી થાય.આપસૌ દાતાઓની સહાયથી ઘરવિહોણા પરિવારોના ઘર થઇ રહ્યા છે. તેમના જીવનમાં ઉજાસ ફેલાઈ રહ્યો છે.તે માટે અમે આપના આભારી છીએ...

In the year 2017, Gujarat experienced extremely heavy rainfall in the Banaskantha district. The floods receded in all the encompassing villages in a terminal way. People lost their household, cattle and also their livelihood. Among many others, one such sufferer was, Lalabhai. 

All was lost for Lalabhai after the floods. In such a situation, Lalabhai started questioning, what he had done to the nature that was so corrupt that he was getting punished for the same. Even in such difficult time Lalabhai did not abandon hope. VSSM organization supported Lalabhai and provided him with a loan of Rs. 1 lakh. With this capital, he started the business of cattle rearing with two cattle and now his business has accelerated and is tremendously booming with 40 cattle under his care. 

The tales of Lalabhai’s success were heard by all in his community and he was approached by his friends to not just guide them in their business ventures but also provide them with financial support.

Kuriben Bikhaji Mali, Maheshkumar Mafaji Mali, Venaji Somaji Mali, Jivanbhai Gamjibhai Patani, Paruben Manubhai Raval, Dadamben Sangrambhai Raval, Rekhaben Maheshkumar Mali, Ranchhodbhai Rajabhai Raval, and Sangrabhai Nagjibhai Raval who approached VSSM through Lalabhai. They say, 

“Ma’am, we too want to own a stable like Lalabhai. If you could give us the capital, be able to make our lifelong dream come true.”

The organization then provided them all with loans of Rs. one lakh each. The lack of experience was one of the hurdles faced they. But their zeal to work and succeed was so tremendous that they chose to work with Lalabhai and learn the business than to suffer a loss due to lack of experience. Leaving the days of daily wage and agricultural labour behind them these people have successfully produced capital by producing and selling dairy products. Through selling, they today not only earn their livelihoods, but are also paying back the instalments of the loans given by the organisation.

“Ma’am, today, it’s much better now. Earlier we had to live our lives on day to day basis. There was a time in our lives where we use to find it burdensome to even pay for our children’s education. We are able to have an occupation and generate money due to the colossal efforts of Lalabhai and Mittal Patel. Today I am able to dream beyond satisfying my basic need and opening a stable myself. We can’t thank them enough. We really owe them everything.” 

Jivanbhai says.

Lalabhai’s brother Sangrambhai says, “Ma’am, earlier also I use to work with my brother on the stables. With the help of Mittalben we, all 9 of us were able to get loans, but then we decided to work on Lalabhai’s stable before starting our own business, to get a hands- on experience for the same. We were all able to start dreaming because of you. Seeing the progress at present, we would like to believe that in future, Umbari village will be in the leading position for producing milk. ”

This is the story of the village of Umbari, in the Shihori block, in Banaskantha district.

When we look back at the times of difficulty that gripped the Umbari village we are proud of the progress made not just by the progress of Lalabhai but all others. There was a time when all hope was lost, but today we look back at the memories and are able to see new dreams and aspirations building in the minds of these people.

“ બેન, અમારે પણ લાલાભાઈની જેમ તબેલો કરવો છે. તમે લોન આપો તો અમે પણ સપનું પૂરું કરી શકીએ અને અમારોય લાલાભાઈ જેવો તબેલો થાય “

આ કહેનાર છે બનાસકાંઠાના શિહોરી તાલુકાનાં ઉંબરી ગામમાં વસવાટ કરનાર કુરીબેન ભીખાજી માળી, મહેશકુમાર મફાજી માળી, જીવણભાઈ ગમાજીભાઈ પટણી, પારૂબેન મનુભાઈ રાવળ, દાડમબેન સંગ્રામભાઇ રાવળ, રેખાબેન મહેશકુમાર માળી, સંગ્રામભાઇ નાગજીભાઈ રાવળ, રણછોડભાઈ રાજાભાઈ રાવળ...

લાલાભાઈ નાગજીભાઈ રાવળ બનાસ ડેરીમાં સૌથી વધારે દૂધ ભરાવે છે. તેથી તેમને આ વર્ષે બનાસ ડેરી દ્વારા પુરસ્કૃત કરવામાં આવ્યા.

વર્ષ ૨૦૧૭માં બનાસ નદીમાં પૂર આવ્યું. તેની આજુબાજુ વસતા ગામોમાં પૂરના પાણી ફરી વળ્યા. આ પૂરે આજુબાજના ગામોની હાલત ખૂબ જ દયનીય કરી નાંખી. લોકોની ઘરવખરી અને ઢોરઢાંખર બધું જ પૂરમાં તણાઈ ગયું. જેમને નુકશાન થયું એમાંથી એક લાલાભાઈ. VSSM સંસ્થા દ્વારા પૂરથી પીડિત લોકોને ઘરવખરી અને અન્ય સામગ્રી આપવામાં આવી. લાલાભાઈ જ્યાં વસવાટ કરતા હતા ત્યાં એવી પરિસ્થિતિ હતી કે કશું જ બચ્યું નહોતું. એક ચમચીયે જોવા ના મળે. લાલાભાઈ એટલા નિરાશ થઇ ગયા હતા કે એમના મોઢે એવું જ નીકળ્યું કે,

“ મેં કુદરતનું એવું તો શું બગાડ્યું હતું કે એણે મારી સાથે આવું કર્યું.”

ભગવાન પરથી લાલાભાઈનો ભરોસો ઉઠી ગયો હતો. પરંતુ પોતાની જાત પરથી તેમણે ભરોસો ગુમાવ્યો નહોતો. VSSM સંસ્થાએ એમનો હાથ ઝાલ્યો અને તેમને લોન આપી. લોન મળતા તેમણે પશુપાલનનો ધંધો શરૂ કર્યો અને આજે તેમની મહેનત રંગ લાવી. બે ગાયોથી કરેલી શરૂઆત આજે ૪૦ ગાય-ભેંસો સુધી પહોચી ગઈ.

લાલાભાઈને આ રીતે આગળ વધતા જોઈ તેમની આસપાસ રહેતા કુરીબેન, રણછોડભાઈ, સંગ્રામભાઇ, જીવણભાઈ, પારૂબેન, રેખાબેન, મહેશભાઈ, વેણાજી, દાડમબેનને એવું લાગ્યું કે તેઓ પણ આવી રીતે તબેલો કરે. જેમના માટે તેમણે લાલાભાઈને વાત કરી. લાલાભાઈએ ઈશ્વરભાઈ રાવળ (VSSMના કાર્યકર)ને વાત કરતા દરેકને એક લાખ રૂપિયા લોન આપવામાં આવી. તેમની પાસે તબેલા માટે કોઈ અનુભવ નહોતો તેથી પહેલા તેમણે લાલાભાઈ સાથે રહી કામ કરવાનું વિચાર્યું. તેમને મળેલ લોનમાંથી બીજી ૨૦ ગાય અને ભેંસો ખરીદવામાં આવી. આજે તેઓ લાલાભાઈ સાથે મળી કામ કરી રહ્યા છે. દૂધ ભરાવતા જે આવક થાય છે તેમાંથી સંસ્થામાંથી લીધેલ લોનનો હપ્તો પણ ભરી રહ્યા છે. પશુપાલનનો ધંધો લાલાભાઈ સાથે શરૂ કર્યો.તે પહેલા દરેક લોકો મોટાભાગે ખેતમજૂરી અને છૂટક મજૂરી કરતા. જેમાં તેમના ઘરનું ગુજરાન જેમ તેમ ચાલતું હતું. જીવણભાઈ કહે,

“ બેન, હવે તો ઘણું સારું થઇ ગયું. પહેલા તો માંડ માંડ ઘરનું પૂરું થતું. ઘણી વખત તો બાળકોના ભણતરનો ખર્ચ કાઢવો પણ મુશ્કેલ થઇ જતો હતો. લાલાભાઈ સાથે મળી કામ કરીએ છીએ તો ઘણું શીખી રહ્યા છીએ. ભવિષ્યમાં પોતાનો તબેલો કરવો છે. લાલાભાઈ એ અમને રાહ ચીંધી. મિત્તલબેન અમારા જેવા ઘણાયે લોકોને આ રીતે વગર વ્યાજની લોન આપે છે. જેનાથી અમારા જેવા કેટલાય લોકોના ઘરમાં ચૂલા સળગે છે. મિત્તલબેનનો જેટલો આભાર માનીએ એટલો ઓછો છે. “

લાલાભાઈના ભાઈ સંગ્રામભાઇ કહે,

“ હું મારા ભાઈ સાથે પહેલા પણ તબેલામાં મદદ કરાવતો. લોન લઇ પોતે તબેલો કરવાનું વિચાર્યું. મિત્તલબેનને વાત કરી તો મને પણ રૂપિયા એક લાખની લોન આપવામાં આવી. અમને નવ લોકોને એક સાથે લોન મળી. લાલાભાઈ સાથે બેસી વાત કરી. બધાએ હાલ એ નિર્ણય કર્યો કે પહેલા છ સાત મહિના અમે લાલાભાઈ સાથે જ મળી કામ કરીએ. જયારે ફાવટ આવી જશે ત્યારે અમે પણ જુદો તબેલો કરી લઈશું.”

લાલાભાઈ સાથે જોડાયેલ દરેક વ્યક્તિ લોકો સપના જોતા થયા હવે તેમણે તેને પૂરા કરવા માટે ડગ પણ માંડી દીધા છે. જે રીતે લાલાભાઈ સાથે જોડાયેલા લોકો પોતાના સ્વપ્નને પૂરું કરવા જોતરાઈ ગયા છે તે જોતા એવું લાગી રહ્યું છે કે એક દિવસ ઉંબરી ગામ પશુપાલનના વ્યવસાયમાં મોખરે હશે.

આ વખતે ઉંબરી ગામની મુલાકાત લીધી. લાલાભાઈએ જે રીતે આગતા સ્વાગતા કરી એ જોઈ લાગ્યું આ એ જ લાલાભાઈ છે જે એક સમયે હારી ગયા હતા. આજે એમને જોઈ બીજા લોકો પણ આગળ વધી રહ્યા છે. સંસ્થાને પણ આ વાતની ખુશી છે. આપ સૌ દાતાઓની મદદને કારણે આ બધું શક્ય થઇ રહ્યું છે તેથી સંસ્થા આપ સૌ દાતાઓની હંમેશા આભારી રહેશે.

We, at VSSM have always dreamt of families belonging to nomadic and de-notified communities being financially independent and practicing thriving occupations. To ensure that our collective dream becomes a reality we initiated Swavlamban, an interest free micro finance program to support individuals from these extremely marginalised communities begin their independent business ventures or to help revitalize their existing occupations. Under the program VSSM has supported 2400 individuals till date. The overall amount of revolving loans extended as of now stands at Rs. 6 crores. This program has injected a new kind of hope amongst these hard working communities who until now remained engulfed in the debt traps of private money lenders. It should be noted that these communities who do not possess any permanent residential proofs or other required support documents cannot manage to acquire financial assistance from organised sector, this requires them to remain dependent on the private or unorganised sector for their emergency financial needs.

VSSM, through a special event organised on March 25th 2019, decided to applaud the loanees who never missed their instalment dates or managed to finish their loans even while surrounded by difficult times. It came as a surprise to the members of civil society when they learnt that these very poor people who do not even have a decent roof on their head have been regular with their loan repayment.

The following were the benchmarks based on which the beneficiaries/loanees were commended:

Individuals who never missed an instalment in spite of struggling with serious medical emergencies like cancer or death of the sole bread earner of the family.

Individuals or communities who collectively repaid the loans of those who had dishonest intentions and purposely decided to not pay their loan back.

Elders ranging from 70 to 85 years who had obtained loans and always paid their instalments before time.

Community fellows who volunteered to recover loans from their respective communities. We are extremely sorry to have missed out honouring our trusted and humble Kanubhai Raval from Umri. The honesty Kanubhai practices is worth saluting.

Individuals who not only paid off their loans but also thought about their fellow community people by deciding to donate to the organisation so that others like them can benefit from this program.

Loanees who literally journeyed from rags to riches as a result of the Swavlamaban program. There are examples of individuals who did not have a single penny but with their sheer hard work now earn in lacs.

Lastly, individuals who have begun earning well and are able to live decently but cannot manage to save , who still need money to build their own house. To these individuals we sanctioned loans to invest as fixed deposit in the bank, a fairly new initiative we are testing. If we succeed in achieving desired results we will take a call to increase its span.

Apart from honouring individuals based on above mentioned categories we also offered loans to 150 new applicants to help them start their own ventures.

The entire event was graced by organisation’s trustees Shri Madhav Ramanuj, Shri Pravinbhai Laheri, Shri Pragnesh Desai, Shri Parul Dandikar, Shri Gita Gala and Shri Maulik Patel. We were honoured to have our well wishing friends Respected Shri Bhagwanbhai Panchal whom we call Kaka, Shri Narendra Jani, Director, Developing Communities Welfare Board, Shri Kiritbhai Shah, Shri Surekhaben Shah, Shri Chauhansaheb and all who have shown tremendous compassion towards these communities. Thank you all for gracing the occasion marked to honour the honest and hard working.

Yes, there were few challenges because the turn up of invitees was more than we expected, as a result there were difficulties in serving the meal. However, your patience and support helped us address it well.

વિચરતી વિમુક્ત જાતિઓ આર્થિક રીતે પગભર થાય તે સ્વપ્ન અમે જોયું અને એ માટે વગર વ્યાજે લોન આપવાનું અમે શરૃ કર્યું.

અત્યાર સુધી 2400 ઉપરાંત વ્યક્તિઓને કુલ 6 કરોડ લોન પેટે મળ્યા ને લોકો બે પાંદડે થયા.

આ લોનધારકોમાંથી વિશિષ્ટ પ્રદર્શન કરનાર લોન ધારકોના સન્માનનો કાર્યક્રમમાં તા.25 માર્ચ 2019ના રોજ અમદાવાદ મુકામે આયોજીત કર્યો.

છાપરામાં રહેતા જેના પોતાના સરનામાના ખાસ ઠેકાણા નથી તેવા લોકો લોન લઈને નિયમિત હપ્તા ભરે એ વાત બાહ્રય સમાજમાંથી ઉપસ્થિત રહેલા સૌ માટે આશ્ચર્યજનક હતી.

આવા આ લોન ધારકોમાંથી નીચેની ગુણવત્તાવાળા લોનધારકોનું સન્માન થયું,

(1) જેમના ઘરમાં સખત મુશ્કેલીઓ આવી કેન્સર જેવી બિમારીનો ભોગ બન્યા. અથવા ઘરમાં કમાનાર મુખ્ય વ્યક્તિનું મૃત્યુ થયું હોય છતાં લોન ભરવાની તારીખ ચુક્યા વગર જેમણે લોન ભરી તેવા લોનધારકોનું સન્માન થયું

(2) એવા લોન ધારકો કે જેમણે લોન લીધી પછી મનમાં ખોટ આવી. લોન ભરવાનું ચુક્યા. આવા લોનધારકોની લોન ચુકવવા સમાજના લોકો ભેગા થયા અને લોન ચુકવી તેવા સમાજોનું કે વ્યક્તિઓનું સન્માન થયું

(3) એવા વ્યક્તિઓ કે જેમની ઉંમેર 70 થી લઈને 85 વર્ષની છે તેવા વડિલોએ લોન લીધી અને તારીખ પહેેલાં એ લોનના હપ્તા ભર્યા તેવા લોકોનું સન્માન થયું

(4) લોનની ઉઘરાણીની જવાબદારી પોતાની વસાહત કે સમાજ પ્રમાણે જેમણે સ્વેચ્છાએ સ્વીકારી તેવા વ્યક્તિઓનું સન્માન આ કેટેગરીમાં થયું.

હા આમાં અમારા બનાસકાંઠાના ઉમરીમાં રહેતા કનુભાઈ રાવળનું સન્માન રહ્યું પણ આગામી કાર્યક્રમમાં એ પણ કરીશું. બાકી કનુભાઈની સંસ્થા માટેની નિષ્ઠાને તો પ્રણામ જ કરવા પડે. અને અમારાથી તમારુ નામ રહી ગયાની માફી પણ માંગીએ.

(5) લોનધારકે લોન લીધી અને લોનના હપ્તા ભર્યા પણ એ હપ્તા સાથે જેમણે પોતાની રીતે સ્વેચ્છાએ સંસ્થાને ઉદારદીલે અનુદાન આપ્યું, ધર્માદુ કર્યું તેવા લોનધારકોનું સન્માન પણ કરવામાં આવ્યું

(6) એવા લોન ધારકો કે જેઓએ શૂન્યમાંથી સર્જન કર્યું. સાવ કશું નહોતું એમાંથી લાખો કમાતા થયા એવા લોન ધારકોનું સન્માન કરવામાં આવ્યું

અને છેલ્લે

(7) એવા લોનધારકો કે જેઓ લોન લઈને સુખેથી જીવતા થયા પણ બચત થતી નથી. હજુ પોતાનું ઘર કરવાનું છે એવા લોનધારકોને એફ.ડી.માટે લોન આપવાનું કર્યું. 

આ છેલ્લી કેટેગરી એ પ્રયોગ છે. એ પ્રયોગના ઈચ્છીત પરિણામ આવે તો આ વિષે જુદો વિચાર કરવાનું કરીશું.

ટૂંકમાં વિવિધ કેટેગરીમાં લોકોને સન્માનવાની સાથે સાથે 150 ઉપરાંત પરિવારોને નવા વ્યવસ્યા માટે લોન પણ આપવામાં આવી. 

કાર્યક્રમમાં સંસ્થાના ટ્રસ્ટી શ્રી માધવ રામાનુજ, શ્રી પ્રવિણભાઈ લહેરી, શ્રી પ્રજ્ઞેશ દેસાઈ, શ્રી પારૃલ દાંડીકર, શ્રી ગીતા ગાલા, શ્રી મૌલિક પટેલ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા.

આ સિવાય સંસ્થાના શુભેચ્છકોમાંથી આદરણીય શ્રી ભગવાનભાઈ પંચાલ જેમને અમે કાકા કહીએ, શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર જાની - નિયામક વિકસતી જાતિ કલ્યાણ ખાતુ, શ્રી કીરીટભાઈ શાહ, શ્રી સુરેખાબહેન શાહ, શ્રી ચૌહાણ સાહેબ વગેરે જેવા આ સમુદાયો માટે લાગણી રાખનાર સૌ પ્રિયજનો પણ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા અને આ સમુદાયોને અભીવાનદ પત્રથી સન્માન્યા.

Mukeshbhai Kangsiya selling imitation jewellery &
Cosmetic products

Mukeshbhai Kangasiya  is a resident of Maninagar area of Bhachau town. VSSM helped him secure his Voter ID card and a job. However, being uneducated meant he was assigned menial labour and such unskilled jobs not fetch good remuneration at the end of the day. The money earned from the job was little while the family was large hence it was difficult to sustain them on such meagre income. 

As most of the members of the Kangasiya community do Mukeshbhai’s family was also engaged with selling of imitation jewellery and cosmetic products,  but since Mukeshbhai did not have sufficient cash on hand he could not commence such business. It was VSSM’s Ishwarbahi who recommended Mukeshbhai to VSSM for a Rs. 10,000 loan under its Swavlamban program. The loan served as seed capital to help him initiate into the business of selling imitation jewellery, cosmetics and gift articles. Mukeshbhai has also bought a hand cart and now functions from Bhachau’s main market. The income is enough to help him sustain his family, pay the monthly instalment of Rs. 1000 and make a monthly saving of  Rs. 500.

Similarly, Dharmabhai Devipujak also intended to begin his venture of selling imitation jewellery as his similar initiative on much smaller scale wasn’t rewarding at all. The struggle for him was to mobilise resources to begin the business. In the past VSSM had helped him acquire identity documents. He got in touch with our team member  Ishwarbhai and proposed for a loan of Rs. 10,000 under the Swavlamban program. The money lent by VSSM has helped him procure enough material and begin selling it in Bhacahu bazar as well as neighbouring villages. Dharmabhai’s wife helps him with sales as well. The result has been increase in sale and profits. 

The small loans by VSSM are triggering small yet impactful changes in the lives of these and many such  families supported by VSSM. It is providing the family food security and ability to save little that can eventually become their emergency fund.

ભચાઉના મણીનગરમાં રહેતા મુકેશભાઈ કાંગસિયા પાસે પોતાની ઓળખના આધારો નહીં એટલે ભચાઉની કંપનીઓ નોકરી મળે નહીં. vssmની મદદથી તેમને મતદારકાર્ડ મળ્યું અને પછી નોકરી પણ. પણ નોકરીમાં મળતર ખાસ મળે નહીં. મૂળ ભણેલા નહોના કારણે સ્કીલ વર્કરમાં તેમની ગણતરી ના થાય. પરિવાર મોટો જેમનું પુરુ કરવામાં તકલીફ પડવા માંડી. 

કાંગસિયા સમાજના મોટભાગના કટલરી વેચવાનું કામ કરે. મુકેશભાઈના કુટુંબીજનો પણ આ કરે પણ મુકેશભાઈ પાસે કોઈ બચત નહીં એટલે આગળ વધી ના શકાય. આવામાં vssmના કાર્યકર ઈશ્વરનો સંપર્ક થતા રૃા.10,000ની લોન vssmથી મુકેશભાઈને અપાવી. જેમાંથી તેઓ કટલરીનો સામાન લાવ્યો અને લારી લઈને ભચાઉની બજારમાં ઊભા રહેવાનું શરૃ કર્યું. આવક પણ સારી થાય છે. vssmની લોનનો માસીક રૃા.1000નો હપ્તો ઉપરાંત માસીક 500 રૃપિયાની બચત તેઓ કરે છે. 

આવા જ ભચાઉમાં રહેતા ધરમાભાઈ દેવીપૂજક. ફુગ્ગા, બોરિયા, બક્કલ ખબે લઈને ગામડાંઓમાં ફેરી કરે પણ તેમાં ખાસ કાંઈ મળતર મળે નહીં. કટલરી વેચવાનો વેચવાનો વિચાર ખૂબ આવે પણ તે માટે રોકણ કરવું પડે જેની સગવડ તેમની પાસે નહીં. 

ધરમાભાઈ અગાઉ સૌરાષ્ટ્રમાં ફરતા રહેતા. તેમની પાસે પોતાની ઓળખના આધારો નહોતા. પણ vssmના પ્રયત્નોથી તેમને તે મળ્યા હતા. તેઓ vssmના સંપર્કમાં અને સંસ્થા દ્વારા વગર વ્યાજની લોન આપવામાં આવે છે તે પણ તે બરાબર જાણે આથી તેમણે કાર્યકર ઈશ્વરને લોન માટે મદદરૃપ થવા વિનંતી કરી. રૃા.10,000ની લોન vssmમાંથી મળતા તેઓ કટલરીનો સામાન લાવ્યા અને પતિ પત્ની બંને ભચાઉ આસપાસના ગામડાં તથા ભચાઉ શહેરમાં ફરીને વેચે. આવક પણ સારી એવી થઈ રહી છે. 

10,000ની લોન લઈને ધંધો કરનાર વિચરતી જાતિના આ પરિવારોના જીવનમાં એક વર્ષમાં કાંઈ એવડો મોટો ફરક નથી પડવાનો પણ હા તેઓ બે ટંક પેટ ભરીને ખાઈ શકે અને નાની બચત કરી શકે તેવું તો થયું જ છે. આજ નાની બચતમાંથી તેઓ કાલ મોટા ધંધામાં ઝંપલાવશે તેવી અમને આશા છે..

Mangabhia Raval had no money so to marry his young son Karsanbhai he was need to take a loan of Rs. 15,000 from a farmer. In return Karsanbhai became a bonded farm labourer with the farmer. Karsanbhai Raval stays and works on a farm  in Vadgaum’s  Thur village. The entire family worked on the farm and received their share of income by the end of the annual seasons but the money was never enough to pay of a mere  Rs 15,00o loan. Hence the family took another loan to free Karsanbhai, this time from another private money lender, within a year Karsanbhai repaid this loan by working as a manual labourer. Karsanbhai is debt free but the money is never enough to sustain the family. 

Karsanbhai always wanted to own a cow and sell the milk but, he never had funds to accomplish his desire. Karsanbhai’s nephew Paresh is a VSSM team member so Karsanbhai was aware of the ‘Swavalamban’ initiative by VSSM. He requested for a loan of Rs. 45,000 under the program because that was the amount required to buy a cow. Paresh said Rs, 45,000 won’t be possible but he can apply for Rs. 30,000 loan the remaining amount he would have to manage. Farsanbhai managed Rs 15,000 from his family members and bought a cow.

Karsanbhai has begun earning by selling the milk, even his children get to drink milk now. He is happy with the increased income. “I am glad the organisation stood by us, our living conditions are improving gradually, I will be taking another loan once I pay back this amount and buy another cow. We can’t thank VSSM enough for holding hand of poor people like us,” expressed Karsanbhai. 

Such expressions makes the entire effort worthwhile, hope VSSM is able to spread light in the lives of thousands of poor and marginalised nomadic families. 

vssmમાંથી લોન લઈને રાવળ પરિવારે પશુપાલનનું કામ શરુ કર્યું.

વડગામ તાલુકાના થુર ગામમાં રહેતા કરશનભાઈ રાવળ ખેતરમાં ભાગીયા તરીકે કામ કરી પોતાના પરિવારનું ગુજરાન ચલાવતા. પિતા મંગાભાઈએ કરશનભાઈના લગ્ન કરાવવા માટે એક ખેડૂત પાસેથી રૂ. ૧૫,૦૦૦/-ની લોન લીધેલી અને તેના બદલે કરશનભાઈને તેના ખેતરમાં ભાગિયા તરીકે રાખેલા. લગભગ ૬ થી ૭ વર્ષ ભાગિયાતરીકે કામ કરવા છતાં લોનની રકમ ભરપાઈ ના થવાથી કરશનભાઈના પરિવારે બહારથી રૂ. ૧૫,૦૦૦/- વ્યાજે લાવી ખેડૂતને ત્યાંથી કરશનભાઈને મુક્ત કરાવ્યા અને છૂટક મજૂરી કરી ધીમે ધીમે ૧ વર્ષમાં વ્યાજે લીધેલી રકમ મુદ્દલ સાથે ભરપાઈ કરી દીધી. કરશનભાઈ છૂટક મજૂરી કરી ગુજરાન ચલાવે પણ મજૂરીમાં બે પાંદળે ક્યારે થવાય? ક્યારેક વિચારેય આવતો કે ઘરમાં એક ગાય હોય તો દૂધ વેચીને પણ થોડી આવક ઉભી કરી શકાય.  પણ ગાય ખરીદવા માટે મૂડી કેવી રીતે કાઢવી તે સમજાય નહીં.

ભત્રીજો પરેશ VSSMમાં કામ કરે અને vssm વંચિત લોકોને સ્વતંત્ર વ્યવસાય માટે વગર વ્યાજની લોન આપે તેવો કરશનભાઈને ખ્યાલ હતો તેથી પરેશને vssmમાંથી લોન આપવા કહ્યું.  એક ગાય ખરીદવા રૂ. ૪૫,૦૦૦/- જેટલી મૂડી જોઈએ. તેથી પરેશે કરશનભાઈને કહ્યું, “રૂ. ૪૫,૦૦૦ પૂરેપૂરા તો ન આપી શકીએ પણ રૂ. ૩૦,૦૦૦/-ની લોન માટે હું vssmમાં અરજી કરું પણ બાકીની વ્યવસ્થા તમારે કરવાની થાય. એમના પરિવારના સૌએ રૂ.૧૫,૦૦૦ ઉછીના આપ્યા અને vssmમાંથી લોન લઈને તેઓ ગાય લાવ્યા.

ગાય લાવ્યા પછી કરસનભાઈના બાળકો પણ દૂધ પીતા થયા સાથે સાથે દૂધ વેચીને કરસનભાઈ કમાણી પણ કરવા માંડ્યા છે. કરશનભાઈ પોતાના વ્યવસાયથી ખુબ રાજી છે તેઓ કહે છે, “સંસ્થા (vssm) ની મદદથી આજે અમારી સ્થિતિ બદલાઈ રહી છે. માથેથી દેવું ઉતારીને ફરી લોન લઈને બીજી ગાય લાવવી છે. અમારા જેવા ગરીબ માણસોનો આધાર સંસ્થા બની છે એનો જેટલો આભાર માનીએ એટલો ઓછો છે'

કરશનભાઈના આ શબ્દો સાંભળી સંસ્થાગત રીતે આપણે કરેલા કામો લેખે લાગ્યાનો અહેસાસ થાય છે. વધુને વધુ વંચિત વ્યક્તિઓના જીવનમાં પ્રકાશ પાથરવામાં vssm નિમિત્ત બને એવી પ્રાર્થના સાથે...

The Swavalamban or the interest free loan initiative by VSSM  aims to give a dignified living to the nomadic communities. The program supports the nomadic families start new small sized ventures thus, making a shift from manual labour and bonded jobs they do  or expand the traditional business/trade they practice. The program with loans amounting to more than Rs. 65 lakhs has supported 432 nomadic individuals  so far. The demand for funds is much much more and VSSM with its limited funds cannot meet all the need. VSSM appealed Kalupur Commercial Cooperative Bank to support such families by extending them loans. The appeal was well received by the decision makers of the bank. Respected Shri. Ambubhai Patel, Shri. Navneetbhai Patel, Shri Dineshbhai Amin and others whole heartedly accepted the proposal. The Kalupur Bank has provided support to 225 families in the past 6 months.

Last year to mark the completion of 46 years of its foundation,  the bank sanctioned loans to 46 women from nomadic families. The loans were to facilitate them start their own businesses. The nomadic families who have been using the services of Kalupur Bank feel an ownership towards it, the compassionate staff of the bank is ever helpful to aid the illiterate nomads with their banking transactions.

VSSM is trying very hard to inculcate amongst these nomads a habit of regular savings, open bank accounts and deposit their savings in the bank. The team members of VSSM Ilaben Bajaniya, Madhuben Bajaniyaa and Chayaben Patel have played an important role in  linking  these families with the bank. It is our honour to have such hard working and dedicated team working with these vulnerable communities.

વિચરતી જાતિના લોકો સ્વમાનભેર જિંદગી જીવે એ માટે vssm હંમેશા પ્રયત્નશીલ છે. vssm દ્વારા વિચરતા પરિવારોને નવા વ્યવસાય અથવા જે વ્યવસાય થકી એ લોકો નભે છે એ વ્યવસાયને વિસ્તારવા માટે વગર વ્યાજની લોન આપવામાં આવે છે અત્યાર સુધી ૪૩૨ લોકોને vssmએ ૬૫ લાખ કરતાં વધુ રકમનું ધિરાણ આપ્યું છે. પરંતુ, લોકોની જરૂરિયાત ઘણી છે. આવામાં vssmની આર્થિક મર્યાદા આવી જાય છે એટલે વ્યવસાય માટે લોન માટે કાલુપુર બેન્કને પણ vssm દ્વારા અપીલ કરવામાં આવી. બેંક સાથે સંકળાયેલા હોદ્દેદારો આદરણીય શ્રી અંબુભાઈ પટેલ શ્રી નવનીતભાઈ પટેલ, શ્રી  દિનેશભાઈ અમીન વગેરે દ્વારા આ અપીલને વધાવવામાં આવી અને ૨૨૫ પરિવારોને સ્વતંત્ર વ્યવસાય માટે છેલ્લા ૬ મહિનામાં લોન આપવામાં આવી.
કાલુપુર બેન્કની સ્થાપનને ૪૬ વર્ષ પૂર્ણ થયા આ નિમિતે ૪૬ વિચરતી જાતિની બહેનોને સ્વતંત્ર વ્યવસાય અર્થે લોન આપવામાં આવી. કાલુપુર બેંક વિચરતા પરિવારોને પોતાની બેંક લાગવા માંડી છે. બેન્કના કર્મચારીઓ પણ લખતા વાંચતા ના આવડતા આ પરિવારોને પૈસા ઉપાડવાથી લઈને ભરવામાં ખુબ મદદ કરે છે. વધારે ને વધારે પરિવારો પગભર થાય બેંકમાં બચત કરતાં થાય એવું અમે ઇચ્છીએ છીએ અને એ માટે vssmની ટીમ પ્રયત્નશીલ છે. અમદાવાદમાં vssmના કાર્યકર ઇલાબહેન બજાણિયા, મધુબહેન બજાણિયા અને છાયા બહેન પટેલ વિચરતા પરિવારોને બેંક સાથે જોડવામાં મહત્વપૂર્ણ ભૂમિકા ભજવી છે આવા કાર્યકરો અમારી પાસે છે એનો અમને ગર્વ છે.
