Dipakbhai Bholabhai Parmar resides in Gariyadhar of Bhavnagar District. In his family he has his parents and a big brother.  Dipakbhai’s father goes to polish diamonds whereas Dipakbhai and his brother does tailoring. Dipakbhai is 12th Pass and his brother has completed two years of college. When Dipakbhai was in 10th and his brother was in 12th they found much difficulty in finding uniform and thus decided to learn tailoring. And so they started to learn Tailoring in vacation. After vacation also they used to learn it by deducing some time out of their schedule and it took them 4 years to learn it and after that they didnot had so much savings to start their own business and so took a small shop on rent in their own village in which he had tpo pay 1800 Rs as shop rent and 1500 Rs as machine rent.Dipakbhai says, “My paternal uncle (fuva) used to know rameshbhai (A VSSM feildworker) so I explained him my position asked him that everymonth I have to pay 3300 Rs as rent and so whatever I earn a greater part I have to pay as rent. we do the tailoring of Mens garments and as diwali is approaching if we can get our own machine 1500 Rs can be saved. we received an interest free loan of Rs.. 40,000 from the organization and from it we bought three machines seeing us our cousin from maternal uncle also came to our shop to learn it. so now we save the amount of machine rent. I will pay the loan installments regularly and I am giv ing pledge to do so for which we have kept a box in which everyday we keep 50 to 100 Rs. into it so that we can get an amount to pay as installment. When we were studying in school we used to watch our mother who was saving some money and so we also learns to save. The money saved in this box has helped us to get through many works. Now in our village we have a savings organization were we save 1000 Rs every month. VSSM is working very good so we are happy to join this organization. The organization has lead their trust on me by giving me the loan so I would not break this trust.”

Dipakbhai wants to start his own shop and for that he is saving money.Because of the habbit of saving and his hard work he has been able to fulfil his dreams. Because of school uniform he learned stiching and now he is dreaming of his own shop. We wish that he fullfills his dreams in near future. દિપકભાઈ ભોળાભાઈ પરમાર ભાવનગરના ગારિયાધારમાં રહે.પરિવારમાં માતા-પિતા અને એક મોટોભાઈ છે. દિપકભાઈના પિતા હીરા ઘસવા જાય. બંને ભાઈઓ સિલાઈકામ કરવાનું કામ કરે. દિપકભાઈ ૧૨ પાસ છે અને તેમના મોટાભાઈએ કોલેજના બે વર્ષ કર્યા છે. દિપકભાઈ ૧૦માં ધોરણમાં અને તેમના મોટાભાઈ ૧૨માં ધોરણમાં ભણતા હતા ત્યારે સ્કુલ યુનિફોર્મ મેળવવા માટે તેમને બહુ મુશ્કેલી પડી. બંનેએ નક્કી કર્યું કે હવે સિલાઈકામ શીખવું છે.તેથી બંને ભાઈઓએ વેકેશનમાં સિલાઈકામ શીખવાનું શરૂ કર્યું. વેકેશન પૂરું થયા પછી પણ બંને ભાઈઓ સમય કાઢી સિલાઈકામ શીખવા જતા.ત્રણ થી ચાર વર્ષ તેમને શીખતા લાગ્યા. બંને ભાઈઓ પાસે એટલી તો મૂડી હતી નહીં કે ધંધો શરૂ કરે તેથી તેમના ગામમાં જ ચાલતી દુકાન ભાડેથી લઇ તેમાં કામ કરવા લાગ્યા. જેમાં રૂપિયા ૧૮૦૦/- દુકાનનું ભાડું અને રૂપિયા ૧૫૦૦/- સિલાઈમશીનનું ભાડું ચૂકવવું પડતું. ધંધો સારો ચાલે તેથી બંને ભાઈઓ દુકાન અને મશીનનું ભાડું આપી સિલાઈકામ કરતા.

દિપકભાઈ કહે,“ મારાફુવા જીતેન્દ્રભાઈ, રમેશભાઈ (VSSMના કાર્યકર)ને ઓળખતા. તેમને મેં મારી પરિસ્થિતિ વિશે વાત કરી કે મહિના દરમિયાન જે આવક થાય તેમાંથી રૂપિયા ૩૩૦૦/- તો ભાડામાં જ જતા રહે. અમે જેન્ટ્સ ગારમેન્ટનું કામ કરીએ. દિવાળી આવશે એટલે કામ વધવાનું, તેથી જો પોતાના મશીન થઇ જાય તો રૂપિયા ૧૫૦૦/- ભાડું ન ચૂકવવું પડે.સંસ્થામાંથી રૂપિયા ૪૦,૦૦૦ની વગર વ્યાજની લોન મળતા અમે ત્રણ મશીન લઇ આવ્યા. અમને જોઈ મારા મામાનો દીકરો હવે અમારી દુકાનમાં પણ સિલાઈકામ શીખવા આવે છે.આમ હવે અમને સિલાઈ મશીનનું ભાડું નહીં થાય. લોનના હપ્તા નિયમિત ભરવા માટેની હું બાંહેધરી આપું છુ. જેના માટે અમે દુકાનમાં એક ગલ્લો રાખ્યો છે. જેમાં રોજના રૂપિયા ૫૦ થી ૧૦૦ નાખીએ એટલે લોનનો હપ્તો ભરવા જેટલા પૈસાભેગા થઇ જાય.અમેસ્કૂલમાં ભણતા ત્યારે જોયું કે મારી મમ્મી રોજના થોડા થોડા પૈસા બચાવતા. તે જોઈ અમે પણ ગલ્લામાં પૈસા ભેગા કરવાની શરૂઆત કરી. આ ગલ્લામાં ભેગી કરેલી થોડી થોડી બચતે અમારા કેટલાયે કામો પારપાડ્યા. તેથી હવે તો અમે અમારા ગામમાં બચત મંડળ ચાલે. જેમાં દર મહીને ૧૦૦૦ રૂપિયા ભરીએ છીએ.VSSM સંસ્થા આટલું સારું કામ કરે છે એટલે સંસ્થા સાથે જોડાવાનો આનંદ છે. સંસ્થાએ મારા પર ભરોસો રાખી લોન આપી. તેથી સંસ્થાનો વિશ્વાસ ક્યારેય નહીં તોડું.“

દિપકભાઈ પોતાની જેન્ટ્સ ગારમેન્ટની દુકાન કરવા માંગે છે.જેના માટે તેઓ બચત કરી રહ્યા છે. નાનપણથી રહેલી બચતની આવડતથીઅને મહેનતથી જરૂર તેઓ પોતાના સપના સાકાર કરશે. સ્કૂલના યુનિફોર્મની જરૂરિયા તને કારણે દિપકભાઈ સિલાઈ શીખ્યા અને આજે પોતાની દુકાનના સ્વપ્ન જોતા થઇ ગયા. ભવિષ્યમાં દિપકભાઈ પોતાના સપના ને સાકારકરે તેવી શુભેચ્છા. આપ સૌ દાતા દ્વારા મળેલ અનુદાનથી લોકો સપના જોતા થયા છે અને એ સ્વપ્નને સાકાર કરવા માટે મથી રહ્યાછે. આપસૌ દાતાઓ નો ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર...
