| Mittal Patel meets Bajaniya community who is experiencing debt-free living after taking interest free loan from VSSM |
‘Loan you offered helped me set up my business; I saved well and married off my daughter without borrowing a single rupee from a private money lender!’ an elated Govindbhai Bajaniya shared.
Around 25 people in Banaskantha’s Kankrej exchanged/sold fashion accessories and likes against the naturally fallen hair of women. However, they lacked the capital to procure and stock goods in bulk. As a result, they needed to borrow money from private lenders at a very high-interest rate. It means their ability to save money got compromised.
VSSM offered these individuals interest-free loans, enabling them to buy goods wholesale. These men who either walked or cycled to collect hair managed to make good profits from their rejenuvated business, which helped each of them buy a motorbike to help them scale more regions.
Recently, I met these young Bajaniya men. Since the motorbikes also double up as stores, we decided to upgrade the design of the bikes to mobile kiosks to help them showcase their products better and attract more customers.
Anyone reading this post can help us with this intent of ours.
The youth from Patan’s Sirval village also requested for the same, a modified motorbike.
We will help them with efficiently designing a motorbike. VSSM also plans to improvise their goods procurement system. Most of these families buy goods from the local level and pay a higher price for the same. We plan to link them with the Tankshal market in Ahmedabad. It will provide them options to buy the latest products and wholesale rates and make better profits. Our team members Nisha and Amibahen will help them with this nitty-gritty.

'તમે લોન આપી એમાંથી ધંધો સરસ ગોઠવાયો. બચત થઈ એમાંથી મારી દીકરીના લગ્ન કર્યા. એક રૃપિયો પણ વ્યાજવો લાવવો ન પડ્યો.'
ગોવિદભાઈ બજાણિયાએ આ વાત હરખ સાથે કહી.
બનાસકાંઠાના કાંકરેજના ગામોમાં રહેતા લગભગ 25 વ્યક્તિઓ કાંસકામાં ઊતરીને આવતા વાળના બદલામાં કટલરી વેચવાનું કામ કરતા. પણ એમની પાસે કટલરીનો ઝાઝો સામાન લાવવા મૂડી નહીં. વ્યાજવા પૈસા લાવી એ ધંધો કરતા પણ એમાં બચત ન થાય.
અમે લોન આપી એમાંથી તેઓ ધીમે ધીમે હોલસેલમાં સામાન લાવતા થયા. પગપાળા કે સાઈકલ પર ધંધો કરનાર સૌએ ધંધામાંથી નફો કરીને બાઈક વસાવ્યું. એક લોન પતી ને પછી બીજી પણ લીધી.
હમણાં આ યુવાનોને મળવાનું થયું. એ બાઈક પર ધંધો કરે તે બાઈક પર એમની દુકાન સરસ ગોઠવાય તેવું અલગ બાઈક ડીઝાઈન કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું છે. જેથી જો દીખતા હૈ વો બીકતા હૈ જેવું થઈ શકે.
આવા બાઈકની ડીઝાઈનમાં પણ કોઈ વ્યક્તિ મદદ કરી શકે.
પાટણના સરવાલમાં રહેતા યુવાનોની પણ આજ વિનંતી હતી.
હરતી ફરતી સરસ દુકાન બનાવી આપીશું. સાથે આ બધા સ્થાનીક સ્તરેથી સામાન ખરીદે છે તેની જગ્યાએ અમદાવાદ ટંકશાળથી વિવિધ પ્રકારનો આજના સમયમાં ચલણી હોય તેવો સામાન ખરીદે તેવું ગોઠવવાનો પ્રયત્ન છે જેથી તેમનો નફો વધે..અમારી નિશા અને અમીબહેન આમાં મદદ કરશે.
બનાસકાંઠામાં અમારો ઈશ્વર આ પરિવારોને ખુબ મદદ કરે. યોગ્ય વ્યક્તિ શોધી તેને લોન આપવાનું એના થકી થાય. આવા સરસ કાર્યકરો VSSM પાસે હોવાનું ગર્વ છે.
પણ આનંદ બધાનો ધંધો સરસ ગોઠવાયાનો ને સૌ ડાયરીમાંથી મુક્ત થયા એનો.
