Jeevabhia Marwari Vaghri’s typical day at work… 

Jeevabhai Marwari devipujak resides in Vadvdi village of Rajkot. He is blessed with acute business sense but lack of capital fetched poor returns to his efforts. The money he earned was invested back in the business. Rs. 1000 to 1500 was the maximum he could spare on purchasing goods for retail sells. He always felt the need of some substantial capital that could enable him to buy good from wholesale market at cheaper prices. 

Jeevanbhai knew about the interest-free loan program of VSSM and his situation was also known to VSSM’s Kanubhai who teaches the children from the settlement. He requested Kanubhai for a VSSM loan of Rs. 10,000. The support was for rotation  capital to help him stock goods. VSSM extended the requested amount and this has enabled him to purchase goods in bulk at wholesale rate. This has increased his returns and cash on hand as a result he saves and regularly pays back his installment to the loan.  His 3 kids study with VSSM’s Doliya hostel and life seems to be improving for better now. He is hopeful of making some good progress with the support VSSM has provided him.

vssm માંથી લોન લઈને જીવાભાઈ મારવાડી દેવીપૂજકે પોતાનો વ્યવસાય વિસ્તાર્યો.

રાજકોટના વાવડીમાં જીવાભાઈ મારવાડી વાઘરી રહે. વેપાર કરવાની આવડત પહેલેથી પણ પાસે એવી કોઈ મૂડી નહિ કે ઝાઝું રોકાણ કરી શકે એટલે રૂ.૧૦૦૦ કે ૧૫૦૦નો સામાન લાવે અને એ વેચે એમાંથી ઘર માટે સામાન ખરીદે અને બાકીનાનો પાછો સામાન લાવે.

વધારે પૈસા હોય તો જથ્થાબંધ સામાન લાવવાની લાગણી ઘણી પણ કાયમી સરનામું ના ધરાવતા આમને પૈસા કોણ ધીરે. vssmના કાર્યકર કનુભાઈ આ વસાહતમાં બાળકોને ભણાવે એમનાં ધ્યાને જીવાભાઈની સ્થિતિ આવી તો સાથે સાથે જીવાભાઇને પણ vssmમાંથી વગર વ્યાજે વ્યવસાય કરવા માટે લોન આપતાં હોવાનો ખ્યાલ હતો. એમણે કનુભાઈને નવો સામાન ખરીદવા માટે રૂ. ૧૦,૦૦૦ની લોન આપવા વિનંતી કરી અને vssmમાંથી જીવાભાઇને લોન મળી.

તેઓ જથ્થાબંધમાં સામાન લાવે છે અને લારીમાં લઈને વેચવા જાય છે. vssmનો લોનનો હપ્તો પણ નિયમિત ભરે છે. એમનાં ૩ બાળકોને એમણે vssm સંચાલિત ડોળિયા હોસ્ટેલમાં ભણવા પણ મુક્યા છે. જીવન થોડું બદલાયું છે પણ હજુ પ્રગતિની એમને આશા છે.
