Rameshbhai is originally from Bandhavad village of Radhanpur. He has four children, all of them are mentally and physically handicapped.
When our Mohanbhai met this family, he felt for the first time that God had forgotten to give happiness to this family.
Mohanbhai asked him to start a business that would provide him permanent employment and talked about providing the necessary capital from VSSM.
Rameshbhai had an experience working as an electrician. So after giving ten thousand rupees, Rameshbhai put a roof next to his raw house in Bandhavad and started repairing the fans and doing the wiring work.
With two pennies in hand, a man's zeal for work also increases. He now rented a shop in Radhanpur and started working there. He asked for another loan to buy a machine to build a broken fan motor and we gave him twenty thousand rupees.
Fan repair work goes well in summer and monsoon, but little slow in winter, as Rameshbhai said. He also talked about earning seven to ten thousand rupees a month after deducting expenses.
Economic conditions are not good. However, his spirit of giving is excellent. We started a hostel in Radhanpur for the education of deprived children. At that time, he gifted fans for the hostel!
He spoke to us when he had to go to meet a special school in Bidada for putting his mentally retarded daughter in a hostel. He agreed, but he was very saddened by the condition of his four children. He also got emotional while talking to me. We gave him sympathy but also talked about helping in repairing the shop as well as bringing some goods for sale.
Our Sombhai Bajaniya introduces many people who are in trouble around Radhanpur. Sombhai is a teacher by profession but also puts constant effort for the upliftment of the deprived society. He is indeed an integral part of our team.
It was through him that Rameshbhai met us and we contributed to his upliftment.
We still need to help Rameshbhai a lot. but now he earns a little money. There was a time when there was not enough money to feed the family and they had to sleep on empty stomachs. We are very happy for him now. I wish Rameshbhai all the best and thank all the loved ones who helped in this work.
રમેશભાઈ મૂળ રાધનપુરના બંધવડગામના..તેમને ચાર બાળકો પણ ચારેય માનસીક અને શારિરીક રીતે વિકલાંગ.. ઘરની સ્થિતિ એક સાંધતા તેર તૂટે એવી. ભગવાન આ પરિવારને સુખ આપવાનું જ જાણે ભૂલી ગયો હોય એવું અમારા મોહનભાઈને એમને પહેલીવાર મળીને લાગેલું.
મોહનભાઈએ એમને કાયમી રોજગાર મળે એવો ધંધો નાખવા કહ્યું ને એ માટે જરૃરી મૂડી VSSMમાંથી આપવાની વાત કરી.ઈલેક્ટ્રીશય તરીકે કામ કરવાનો અનુભવ. આથી દસ હજાર આપ્યા ને એમણે બંધવડમાં જ એમના કાચા ઘરની બાજુમાં છાપરુ નાખી પંખા રીપેરીંગથી લઈને વાયરીંગનું કામ કરવાનું શરૃ કર્યું.
બે પૈસા હાથમાં આવે તો માણસની કામ કરવાની ધગસ પણ વધે. એમણે હવે રાધનપુરમાં દુકાન ભાડે રાખી ને ત્યાં કામ કરવાનું શરૃ કર્યું. બગડેલા પંખાની મોટર બાંધવાનું મશીન ખરીદવા એમણે બીજી લોન માંગી ને અમે વીસ હજાર આપ્યા.
ઉનાળામાં ને ચોમાસામાં પંખા રીપેરીંગનું કામ સરસ ચાલે. શિયાળામાં થોડુ મંદુ કામ રહે એવું રમેશભાઈએ કહ્યું. ને સાથે ખર્ચો કાઢતા મહિને સાત થી દસ હજાર કમાઈ લેતાની વાત પણ કરી.
આર્થિક સ્થિતિ એવીયે સારી નહીં. છતાં એમની આપવાની ભાવના ઉત્તમ.. અમે રાધનપુરમાં વંચિત બાળકોના શિક્ષણ અર્થે હોસ્ટેલ શરૃ કરેલી તે એ વખતે એમણે હોસ્ટેલ માટે પંખા અનુદાનમાં આપેલા..
માનસીક રીતે અસ્થિર દીકરીને બિદડામાં આવી વિશેષ દીકરીઓ માટે ચાલતી હોસ્ટેલમાં ભણવા મૂકવા એમને મળવા જવાનું થયું ત્યારે વાત કરી.. એમણે હા પાડી.. પણ પોતાના ચારેક બાળકોની આવી સ્થિતિથી એ બહુ ગમગીન જણાયા. મારી સાથે વાત કરતા કરતા એ ભાવુક પણ થયા..
હૈયાહરો તો આપણે આપીએ જ પણ દુકાનમાં રીપેરીંગની સાથે સાથે થોડો વેચાણ અર્થે સામાન લાવવા પણ મદદ કરવાની વાત કરી..
રાધનપુર આસપાસ રહેતા ને તકલીફમાં હોય એવા ઘણા માણસોનો પરિચય અમારા સોમભાઈ બજાણિયા કરાવે. એ વ્યવસાયે શિક્ષણ પણ વંચિત સમાજના ઉત્કર્ષ માટે એ સતત જાગ્રત ને પ્રયત્નશીલ...અમારી ટીમનો એક અભીન્ન હીસ્સો જ જાણે...એમના થકી જ રમેશભાઈ અમને મળ્યા ને અમે ક્યાંક એમના ઉત્કર્ષમાં નિમિત્ત બન્યા.
રમેશભાઈને હજુ ઘણી મદદ કરવાની છે.. પણ હવે એ બે પૈસા કમાય છે એક સમય હતો જ્યારે બં ટંકના ફાંફા હતા પણ હવે ઘરમાં કોઈને ભૂખ્યા સુવુ નથી પડતું.. આ વાતનો અમને વિશેષ રાજીપો છે..
રમેશભાઈને ખુબ પ્રગતિ કરોની શુભેચ્છા ને આ કાર્યમાં મદદ કરનાર પ્રિયજનોનો આભાર..
