Lakshmiben Bajaniya is a happy woman now, there was a time when she spread a tarpaulin and spread her products  carried her business of selling artificial jewellery, cosmetics, hair pins etc. in the market place of Dhanera town. But the constant smoke and dust on the streets spoiled the look of her products, they became messy and looked shabby. No one buys products that looks old. Hence, when Lakshmiben was able to buy a glass box to store and showcase her bling, her joy was boundless. Now she did not have to protect her products from dust and more the people see her well-kept and stocked glass box. Her business increased.

“I have two sons and a daughter. My youngest son is still studying while my elder son and  daughter are married. The married son works as a painter. After acquiring loan, I could stock more products and increase the number of villages covered.  This helped me easily earn Rs. 300 to 350 daily. Due to this I was regularly able to pay the instalment of Rs. 2000. I have paid off my loan now but continues to save that amount for future emergency needs.” Lakshmiben is a wise woman indeed.

It was Lakshmiben’s foresight and planning that helped timely repayment of her loan. If people were this understanding with financial planning a lot of their issues could be resolved. એક સમયે ધાનેરા બજારમાં રસ્તા પર પ્લાસ્ટીક પાથરી થોડા સામાન સાથે કટલરીનો ધંધો કરતા લક્ષ્મીબેન શંકરભાઈ બજાણીયા, આજે VSSM સંસ્થામાંથી મળેલ વગર વ્યાજની લોનનો ઉપયોગ કરી કાચની પેટીમાં સામાન વેચતા થઇ ગયા. સપનેય એમને વિશ્વાસ નહોતો કે એમની મદદે કોઈ આમ આવશે અને તેઓ આવી રીતે પોતાનો કટલરીનો ધંધો કરી શકશે. રસ્તા ઉપર જયારે તેઓ કટલરીનો સામાન વેચવા બેસતા તો ઘણીયે વાર સામાન રસ્તા પરની ધૂળ ઉડવાથી બગડી જાય, જેથી સામાન પડી રહેતો. લક્ષ્મીબેન કહે...,

“ બગડેલો સામાન કોઈ ખરીદે નહિ. લોન મળતા મેં કાચની પેટી બનાવડાવી જેથી મારો કટલરીનો ધંધો વધી ગયો. મારે બે દીકરા અને એક દિકરી છે. એક દિકરી અને એક દીકરાના લગ્ન થઇ ગયા છે, નાનો દીકરો હાલ ભણે છે. મારો મોટો દીકરો હાલ કલરકામ કરવા જાય છે. લોન મળતા હું હવે આજુબાજુના ગામોમાં ધંધો કરી શકું છું. જેથી મને રૂપિયા ૩૦૦ થી ૩૫૦ રોજના આરામથી મળી રહે છે અને તેના કારણે જ હું નિયમિત સંસ્થામાંથી લીધેલી લોનનો ૨,૦૦૦નો હપ્તો ભરી શકી. હવે તો મારી લોન પણ પૂરી થઇ ગઈ છે. હું લોનનો હપ્તો ભરવા ધંધો થાય એમાંથી થોડા થોડા પૈસા કાઢતી હતી. તેવી જ રીતે હું આગળ પણ બચત કરતી રહીશ. જેથી કરેલી બચત મુશ્કેલીના સમયે કામ આવે.”

લક્ષ્મીબેને નક્કી કર્યું હતું કે ગમે તે પરિસ્થિતિ આવે હપ્તા ભરવામાં ચૂક ના થવી જોઈએ. જેના માટે તેમણે પહેલાથી જ આયોજન કર્યું હતું. દરેક વ્યક્તિ આવી રીતે આયોજન કરી કામ કરે તો તે સરળતાથી તે પોતાની મુશ્કેલીઓને હલ કરી શકે. VSSM સંસ્થા દ્વારા લોકોના જીવનમાં બદલાવ લાવવાનું કામ એકલા હાથે થવું અશક્ય છે આ કાર્યમાં મદદ કરનાર આપના અમે આભારી છીએ.
