Mukeshbhai from Aliyavada in Jamnagar proved the saying “God helps those who help themselves” true.

Mukeshbhai used to work as a scrap collector. He wanted to collect more scrap, but he did not have the capital. Through the joint initiative of VSSM and KRSF, he received a loan of ₹20,000. This small amount became a great support for his self-confidence.

It was like the famous lines of poet Narmad:

“Once you take a step forward, do not step back;

Once you take the leap, do not be afraid.”

Stability came into his scrap business. He earned, saved some money, and then developed the desire to start a dry spices business. He took another loan from us and traveled from village to village in a rented rickshaw, worked tirelessly, expanded his business, and saved more money.

To save on rental expenses, he dreamed of owning his own vehicle. Once again, he took a loan, added his life’s savings, and Mukeshbhai became the owner of his own vehicle.

Mukeshbhai repaid all the loans on time and with complete honesty. When a person’s intentions are pure, nature also supports them. With that support, he moved ahead.

We had not imagined such progress in Mukeshbhai’s life. When we went to Aliyavada to see how far the human rights work for all these families had reached, after the meeting Mukeshbhai said, “Sister, I want to show you something,” and he showed us his vehicle, saying that he had reached this point because of the support of the organization.

Seeing and hearing all this made us very happy. We wish Mukeshbhai great success and continued progress.

જ્યારે મહેનત અને પ્રમાણિકતા ભેગા થાય ત્યારે સફળતા મળે

"હિંમતે મર્દા તો મદદે ખુદા" આ કહેવતને જામનગરના અલિયાવાડાના મુકેશભાઈએ સાર્થક કરી બતાવી.

મુકેશભાઈ ભંગાર ભેગો કરવાનું કામ કરતા. ઈચ્છા વધુ ભંગાર ભેગો કરવાની હતી પણ પાસે મૂડી નહોતી. VSSM અને KRSF ની સંયુક્ત પહેલ દ્વારા તેમને ₹20,000 ની લોન મળી. આ નાનકડી રકમ તેમના આત્મવિશ્વાસ માટે મોટું ટેકણ સાબિત થઈ.

કવિ નર્મદની પેલી પંક્તિઓ જેવું થયું, "ડગલું ભર્યું કે ના હટવું, ના હટવું; ઝંપલાવ્યું તો હવે ના ડરવું, ના ડરવું.

ભંગારના ધંધામાં સ્થિરતા આવી. કમાયા, બચત પણ થઈ હવે સૂકા મસાલાનો વેપાર કરવાની ભાવના થઈ. અમારી પાસેથી બીજી લોન લીધી ને ભાડાની રિક્ષામાં ગામડે-ગામડે ભમ્યા, પરસેવો પાડ્યો, વેપાર વધ્યો ને બચત પણ કરી.

ભાડાના ખર્ચને બચાવવા પોતાનું વાહન લેવાનું સ્વપ્ન જોયું. ફરી લોન લીધી, પોતાની જિંદગીની મૂડી એટલે કે બચત ઉમેરી અને મુકેશભાઈ પોતાની ગાડીના માલિક બન્યા.

મુકેશભાઈએ લીધેલી લોન સમયસર અને પ્રમાણિકપણે ભરપાઈ કરી. જ્યારે માણસની દાનત સાફ હોય, ત્યારે કુદરત પણ સાથ આપે. એ સાથના પ્રતાપે એ આગળ આવ્યા.

મુકેશભાઈના જીવનમાં આ પ્રગતિ થઈ એનો અંદાજ અમને નહોતા. અમે અલિયાવાડામાં આ બધા પરિવારોના માનવ અધિકારના કામો ક્યાં પહોંચ્યા એ જોવા ગયા ત્યાં બેઠક પત્યા પછી મુકેશભાઈએ કહ્યું, "બેન તમને કશું બતાવવું છે" ને એમણે પોતાનું વાહન બતાવી સંસ્થાના પ્રતાપે અહીં પહોંચ્યાનું કહ્યું.

અમે તો આ બધુ જોઈ, સાંભળીને રાજી. મુકેશભાઈ ખૂબ પ્રગતિ કરે એવી શુભેચ્છા
